Stopped by this location on my way to an accessory store to get a screen protector because someone wanted one. It was on the way so sure, why not? "ProTip" *shakes hips and waves hands* The accessories for slightly older phones are MUCH DISCOUNTED. Dude brought out the box which held the screen protector. $40. Okay, sure, just put it on for me please. Well it's a little older...like the model just before the ones that they sell for full price. Yes, this wasn't full price. Out the door and installed, $5.51 after tax. Took a bunch of pictures while it was being installed. Less than six bucks. Probably a fluke instance that won't happen again. Person attending me was Demetrius (says he has been working at the store for 4 yrs, so must have caused issues to other 1 star reviewers too). He helped me open a new line (after a gruesome 2 hr session) and said there will be a 20% discount due to second service and will be a $67/ month charge WITHOUT a device. Bill comes at $127/month -looks like I have been signed up for $20/month for insurance of a device I didn't buy, some random activation fees and no 20% discount on actual services. Called online, they tell me to talk to the store guys. Went to store and this guy lies that that this is what he sold to me. Tells me there is no manager in the store and that everything above $67 is taxes and fees. (Thankfully, I can read). Truly incompetent, dishonest and disrespectful. I went in early on Sunday morning to trade in my phone and get a few questions answered. Bilal helped me. He was amazing! He was super patient with all my questions. AT&T Store - Inside the store - Mobile Phones Near Me - Fremont, California

I don't usually leave reviews but my experience at the store and the store manager Mayra was terrible. I went to the store a few weeks ago for a simple question. I come in the morning it's busy and only 2 reps working so I ask the lady at counter on her phone if she can answer a quick question and she rudely looks up says to check in on the tablet. Then she said the wait is about an hour with only 2 people ahead of me so I ask if there's a manager to ask my question and turns out SHE IS the manager. TERRIBLE! I left the store and came back later checked in on the tablet and waited for my name to be called. There Mayra was still there at the counter on her phone, I don't know what kind of management AT&T is hiring when there is a line of people waiting and management doing nothing. While waiting for my name I hear Mayra say "Am I retarded?" and starts laughing out loud to one of her representatives. I sat there shocked at what I heard and looked around at other customers to see they heard the same. It's a disgusting thing to joke about and she needs to be held accountable her saying such terrible things loud and proud! Working in special ed I have seeing countless students bullied and taunted using the same word and I find it so disheartening come to a store for help and hearing the manager mock such a thing. Recently visited back here for a phone upgrade. My appointment time was at 1 o'clock. I didn't get seen until about 1:50. My observations at this store,: customer service is great. The staff that work here are friendly, and very accommodating. They will get you what you need on your visit. Issues, short staffing, no proper management. I noticed the assistant manager telling the employees to check customers in as they walked. Well the employees are helping other customers. The Assistant manager who isn't doing anything and just walking around on his phone could step and help his staff out. Very weak leadership and team player skills from him. I noticed that both days i went to the store. When folks check in, the staff will start answering their questions and problems while they are already tending to a customer. That wastes even more time during the whole process. Therefore the manager who isn't doing anything could help assist in that process. The store is great, staff is nice, just need to tighten up a few screws here and there. read more

Well, I'm not sure whom to scream at. Bottom line, AT&T sucks. My recent phone upgrade experience was possibly the worst I have ever had! I did everything online, and specified store pickup. When I got to the store, I had to wait a silly amount of time just to pick up 3 boxes. The excuse was that the agents were busy. But there were 2 managers just sitting around doing nothing. What an annoying wait. I finally got the phones and signed for them. A CRITICAL step that the agent missed was asking me whether I wanted the phones activated. What an incredible oversight. So, they just assumed that and had the new phones activated. Mind you, the new phones were still in shrink-wrap. And I was still using my old phone. So, as I'm leaving the store, I realized that my phone cellular wasn't working. At the moment, I had no idea why. And same thing happened with my wife and daughter. When I got home, I contacted AT&T. I had no idea why cellular was down. So, obviously, I couldn't call. Had to go on the computer and use chat. When we finally realized what had happened, I asked the agent to reverse the activation. I wasn't ready to upgrade. I didn't have chargers, cables, cases, screen protectors. Nothing. So, I really didn't want to risk damaging the new phones. The guy told me the only way he could reverse things is if he texted me a PIN to my phone number. You mean, the old phone that no longer works?? Or the new phone that's not even set up!?? This was an incredibly asinine suggestion. Long story short, I was forced to upgrade all 3 phones on the spot. I blew the afternoon screwing with that because otherwise we had NO phones. And unfortunately, nowadays you kind of need a phone for everything. When I called ATT back and complained, they offered me a paltry $30 for all the hassle and aggravation. What an absolutely idiotic customer service response. Simply stunning how they didn't value my 30 years of being a customer. ATT has finally pushed me to the edge. I am now looking to switch to T-Mobile. I'm just sick of the lousy customer service. read more

Very good service from Jayleh who handled my tradein and activation very quickly and smoothly. Also, the Att trade-in program gave me very good credit for my iPhone 12 toward a new iPhone 16. Jayleh has a calming way of proceeding through all the set ups and SystemMsgs and transfers, and made it pretty painless. Kudos to her and to whoever hired her. read more

Store manager is truly honest and we are so thankful to have came in the store and he helped us. My husband and I came seeking to update the names on our accounts as we were told by our door to door account executive who sold us AT&T fiber a week ago to go in the store and change the account name from my husband's name to my name so that it matches with my school ID as supposedly "students get discounts on wireless line". Turns out, students don't get nothing. The door to door account executive just wanted the commission of the sale but that's okay, he's probably learning himself. But the store manager was very knowledgeable and asked us what companies we worked for and that sometimes companies give really good discounts. Really glad we stopped by and it is destiny the store manager helped us. Thankfully my husband's company did offer good discount! We are so grateful of the store manager, he is the best, he may came across blunt but he is honest. I would ask for his help. read more

Customer service is KEY. Working in retail myself, I think that customer service is important and it really dictates your experience. I came with my mom and brother today at 1pm. It's currently 1:24pm, I already finished my appointment. We went to unlock my mom's phone. Upon arrival, we were greeted however Hector was extremely unhelpful and he repeatedly said that the form was online. (Which we also repeatedly said that the form wasn't working online) It's not like we went into AT&T because we didn't try online first. Already instantly annoyed, we talked to Melissa and Taza and it made our experience a lot better but it was still extremely brief. Which is why this review is getting 2 stars, we would've gave 0 if we could. Taza quickly explained that we could also call online and gave us detailed steps on how to unlock our phone unlike Hector repeatedly saying there was no other solution. Whether they were busy or not, we had an appointment and it just seemed like they really wanted to rush us out, which is fine, customer service is key. Alexandria who was manager on duty with a caste on her leg spinning around everywhere not helping customers who were walking out after waiting so long left and right. I patiently waited to be helped for 1 hour! I came to drop my old phone off because I got the new iPhone the night prior. Marion said we can't help you put on a screen protector you can only buy one. Thankfully Bri ( A GEM OF THIS STORE PLEASE KEEP HER AT ALL COSTS ALTHOUGH SHE DESERVE A BETTER PAY AND ENVIRONMENT) took care of all my questions with ease. From now on I'll refer my friends and family to only her. If she leaves I definitely won't ever revisit this place! The night prior, I wanted to start a new phone plan in which I left T-Mobile after 10 years of being a happy customer to the worse customer service team. Being less than 24 hours I regret it! When I was purchasing the new iPhone my sales rep Saleh asked me which color I wanted and I asked what colors you guys have and Marion came out of nowhere saying pink rainbow polka dot. Horrible customer service and responsible for ending my 15+ year relationship with AT&T. Went in to fix a problem with an order for two new phones which i purchased on the AT&T website. Received one, not the other and wasn't getting refunded my payment for the phone not received. Figured (incorrectly) that I would just go into the store and they would fix things up. Was helped by an associate named Marion (or something similar). He seemed pleasant at first but he also seemed very new and inexperienced. He seemed to have a hard time using the CRM system and fumbled around for a very long time trying to pull up my information. After I finally got the opportunity to explain the problem he quickly told me that I should call the ATT customer service number and they couldn't help me. Of course it was ATT customer service that had referred me to the store and I told Marion that I was getting the runaround which was BS. He immediately dropped his stuff in the table, raised his voice and said over and over "You will respect me" , "You will respect me".....WTF?!! I said nothing at all about him and was shocked by his behavior. At that point I told him I just wanted to return the other phone and i would take my business to Verizon. He said he couldn't do it which wasn't true. I had an hour long conversation with ATT customer service and they said I could absolutely return the phone at any of their corporate stores. At this point I asked for a manager and he refused to get him! He said "you will deal with me" over and over. I asked for the manager 20 TIMES and progressively raised my voice until everyone in the store was looking at us. Eventually he complied, got the manager who processed the return and we left. What a fiasco! Advice to the ATT store and ATT in general: 1) Hire competent people 2) Hire people that have an aptitude for customer service. A simple let me see if I can fix this would have gone a long way. 3) Do not EVER speak over your customers or treat them disrespectfully. 4) When a customer asks for a manager, GET ONE. A customer should never need to ask more than once let alone 20 times. It's for the above reasons why I terminated a 15 year relationship with ATT. A relationship where I've purchased at least 20 high end cell phones and never flinched once at the cost for the service. Usually I'm not one to leave reviews unless I feel rather particular about my experiences. This has been the worst experience I've had when entering a place of business, stores and restaurants alike. I have never been as disrespected by any type of staff (from manager to associate) in my life for coming in to ask a couple of questions. One particular employee has obvious issues with self-righteousness and being better than their clientele. How can one be so condescending toward a paying customer seeking support. I have been a loyal customer for decades, but I find myself in the market for a different service after having experiencing such egregious lack of respect. Was visiting family and left phone charger at home. They take your name to put on wait list which took 45 minutes! I purchased cord and outlet thingie only to find my phone NOT charging. Back to Fremont store to return items, had to wait again for 45 minutes. Very short staffed and no sense of organization in terms of customer needs. If I could put a negative star , I would. This place does not deserve any star or good reviews. They start talking to you very in a very friendly way. They will provide the plans and add discounts or whatever they can to lower the bill after we asked! Then they go and deny it! I have an employee discount and they said they qualify and I still did not get the discount! They went ahead and said that my company do not qualify after they took and switch our phones to ATT! The rep who helps us was so rude and no customer service skills at all! We are still struggling with out to get the quote we received by the ATT rep over the phone. The managers are very unprofessional and not willing to help! If we are bringing new lines, they should be more attentive and helpful! They were nothing but rude!!! Buyer beware - I've been a business customer with AT&T since 2007. You would think AT&T would value a long term autopay customer with a phone and fax line. Nov 23, I was informed that my normal bill of around 300 per month (1 fax line/phone line) would be increased to 691.81 if I wanted to keep my services. I was told that my only option to lower the price was to replace my land line with a cell phone which I did. A couple of months later they start charging an exorbitant amount (300+) for my 1 fax line. They call me and tell me they can lower the price to 100 and change if I take an another cell phone and I did. I end up with a cell phone I can't use and I'm being told that the offer did not exist. I asked if I was under contract for fax and was told no. I then decided to cancel my fax line with AT&T to which they sent a final bill (4/17/24) for 137.26 which autopaid. Then May 5th - a second bill arrives "revised final bill" for 231.83 which is autopaid.Jun 3rd I receive a 3rd bill "Revised Final Bill" for 1141.46 which as of today has gone to collections. Now they are saying that I was under contract and I owe all this money in spite of their mistakes. I will never do business with AT&T again after this. When my forced cell phone line falls out of contract, I'm cancelling that too. Their products are just ok but their customer service is by far the worst experience I've had with any of my suppliers. No big problems with store. Problem is with AT&AT. After transferring phone numbers and service from Verizon to AT&T, our monthly wireless bill was supposed to drop from $140/month to $89/month after 20% discount for already being an AT&T Fiber customer (Internet). However, got email from AT&T saying to confirm our order. Upon clicking on the link, they didn't include any of the discounts nor did they waive the activation fees for being AARP members, so entered Chat session to resolve issue. After lengthy Chat session, representative admitted they were wrong is said the $89/month is now in system. A few days later got email from AT&T saying we had a bill for $122 for the first month. After another lengthy Chat session, the representative eliminated some of the fees but said the ongoing monthly bill will be $102. I said we had been quoted twice at $89. The representative then said we could get the $89 if we took a lower service plan. After further discussion, it appeared that the system had us down for a larger plan than what we had signed up for. When I explained we didn't sign up for that plan, the rep said we could modify the plan to the lower priced plan in our next billing cycle, but he would still have to charge us for the higher plan in the current cycle. When I said that was not satisfactory, because I didn't want to pay for the higher costing service that I never ordered, he offered me a $10 credit and asked if that would be okay. I said no it wouldn't, because this is AT&T's error not mine. Finally, the rep said he checked with his supervisor and they would give me a $38 credit so the bill drops down to $89. Really frustrating experience and the rep kept acting like they were doing me a favor, when all I was asking was for them to correct their error. read more

I ordered an Apple Watch two days ago, received yesterday. I synced it with my phone, did all the steps to be paired it would not let me. Customer service representative said to reset it again, I did but after that it told me to sign in to an iCloud thats not mine, they said the watch is brand new, the representative said the watch shouldn't have anyone's information on there, its a technical glitch. He said to bring it in person, and he wrote notes down to make sure they know. I called in today, they said I have to return by mail and also pay taxes for a replacement? Are you serious? No offense but I shouldn't have to pay for something I fully paid for and its not working. Ridiculous, I ordered it directly through att app. I don't understand Update after several returns and phone calls, I got to this att location yesterday, the lady was nice, I told her my problem and she immediately had a confused look at her face and she said I've worked here for three years and ive never heard of "number sync device blocked" she said its on apples side. Went home called Apple they said it's att problem which I knew because it's called "cellular data" they called att for me, I had doubts again but a lady name missy noticed the problem right away, the number was not activated and she said " I don't understand why they keep telling you its the watch". I don't understand who trains these employees, they never heard of that problem before? Even technical support? Lol what a joke read more

Meh...I think this place beats some other AT&T stores, but it's still not good. The representatives here are generally polite but not truly helpful; I've been given faulty information and had certain services botched. And because it's ultimately the quality of support that matters, I've got to go with 2 stars. For instance I upgraded my phone here from an iPhone 6S to an iPhone 8 about a year ago. When employees were switching my SIM card from my old phone to my new one, they failed to put the SIM tray back into my old 6S. I didn't realize at the time--I took the 6S home and didn't touch it for a year, only to bring it out a couple months ago for travel and realize that oops, AT&T screwed up! I went back to the store to see if they could do anything to help me, given that I was leaving for my trip soon and didn't have much time. They were polite but super unhelpful, even sending me on a wild goose chase to request something over the phone with AT&T that ended up being simply impossible. Anyway, location-wise this place is well-located within Fremont Hub. Pretty convenient to stop by on your way to Target or something. The store itself is also pretty nice and spacious. They've got a main table where you can check out new products and talk to service reps, a side table where more conversations with reps can happen, and various (overpriced) phone/electronics accessories lining the walls. I don't intend to stay an AT&T customer much longer, but while I am I will probably still come to this store out of sheer convenience and because I haven't really found a better AT&T location in the area. read more

i couldn't share the shopping experience without a star . My dad brought his friend to the AT&T store on fremont blvd in fremont for the prepaid SIM card with DATA PLAN for the UNLOCKED I phone XI from Japan. This phone was working with another SIM card purchased from Vegas . The young salesman had very difficult time to find the customers' needs. He Keeps asking his coworkers. Finally, the young salesman pulled out a prepaid sim card randomly. After it's inserted. It didn't show data plan. They went back to ask the issue. The young salesman wasn't able to handle the situation . He called his supervisor. The supervisor showed extremely unprofessional behavior by yelling at them (customer) He shouts out "coz , your I phone XI was made in china so it won't work with the AT&T , no exchange or return at my store !" Also, refuse to give any solution. Then he called the security guard to drive them out of the store. This is the first store visited since came to the U.S. from Japan. Really impressed! Customer didn't get what they paid for. I contacted BBB . We have to share this horrible shopping experience from fremont AT&T store on the fremont blvd. Avoid being the future victim of The AT&T ! Fraudulent behavior from employees. They are only here to make sales praying on the elderly and less tech savvy. Anything to make a sale, no empathy or dignity from this store. The managers hide in the back. ALL of the employees are on their phones and can not be bothered to assist customers unless they can make a sale so they can make commission. The quality of At&T has diminished greatly and this store is living proof of such, from the moment you walk into the door you are sized up, as they determine if they can make a sale off you or not. I went into this Att store tonight to return tv equipment as directed by the Att rep I spoke with last week on the phone. I've cancelled the tv and internet service because I'm moving. The Att guy on the phone insisted the equipment be returned by TODAY We'd, 1/13/21 because it was the last day of my billing cycle. Okay I agreed and brought it back as directed today. The store refused to take it, telling me that I now own the equipment. They said I would be charged $150 per box. Why would I want Att equipment? Completely useless. The cocky guy in the store told me to throw it away. THIS WAS THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE EVER GOTTEN IN MY LIFE. I will call Att tomorrow to deal with this situation but it was awful. This review is for Carlos. He was extremely patient as we had a complicated case. I had to transfer a line from business account to my personal account. Then add my mom and dad's prepaid line to my account. And then transfer my wife's T-Mobile account to my account as well. While at it there was an issue transferring my mom's account but Carlos as was able to resolve it. He was extremely helpful and helped us out the whole time. I came and purchased 3 phones today and employee Marion was the most amazing service representative I have had the pleasure of working with. His interest was not selling me something I did not need his interest was what best for the family. When we walked out all three of us immediately said " that was the best service we ever had". Marion grabbed the bag from Hilda's hand and walked her out like a gentleman. I went to set up AT&T in Fremont Hub. Friendly staff. Cheaper than Xfinity so I signed up for installation for Monday. Time window came and no installer. Tried to call but they had my name but no installation date. They don't know why. Rescheduled for today, again no call no show. Went to store and no record of an installation date. Forget AT&T. Terrible service and no one knows what is going on. read more
