I went to Itech N Talk because the charging port on my IPhone was not working. Wade quickly diagnosed the problem with a microscope and cleaned out the port, restoring the phone's ability to charge. He went out of his way to identify the most cost-effective solution and charged us very little for his services. (Another repair shop was going to charge a large flat fee just to look at the phone). He also replaced cracked screen protectors on two phones. Wade was pleasant, fair, honest and gave the impression of having his customer's best interests at heart. I came to this place with a friend who lives nearby. New screen was done very quickly. Itech N Talk was recommended by my neighbor's brother. His brother told him Wade was a lifesaver. His guy's wife's phone got a little bit of water on it at the water park and went into the green screen of death last night. Wade had her taken care of in 45 minutes. I found this place when my iPhone needed a new battery. Wade promptly fit me in that day and then talked to me while fixing my phone. He was also considerate enough to notice that the screen protector needed to be replaced and installed a new one on the spot. Stay away from this shop and this guy. He has solid anger issues and have no idea how to deal with customers who MAY not be happy with his service. So, I went to this guy to get my iPhone screen repaired, he quoted $179.. I proposed to give $150.. to which he said ok but only if I give cash. I did not have cash at hand so he asked me to go to ATM and come back in 30 mins. I came back and got the phone.. But when I took the phone to t-mobile to trade-in against my previously upgraded phone, they checked the phone and said - you got robbed as the person might have stolen the parts of the phone and the screen was badly fixed as it was protuting from one of the side of the phone. I came back to him and asked that why the screen is like that and I should get the refund. I agree my voice would have sounded bit agitated obviously because of the service - however, instead of listening to me and my concerns, he lost temper on me and asked me to leave the shop and became very rude. This went to a level that I had to call 911. The cops later called me and suggested to take action through Better Business Bureau (BBB) and asked me if they should come to that shop to help me with the refund. But by that time I was already home and had meetings. The cops also recorded this shop name and asked me to call 911 right away if he mistreats again while requesting for the refund. I'm sure this person might have felt offended with my questions but hey.. you need to understand why your customer is reacting like that.. there must be a reason.. help your customer rather than cutting him off.. Cops also asked me to leave a detailed review so that other people can learn and stay away from this shop. PS: I took the phone to another shop, and the phone was fixed in right manner, no protuting screen nothing.. T-mobile accepted the phone.. This place is crazy sketchy. I never write reviews on Yelp and only have it as an app to find places. Going through my Yelp profile for the first time in years I see a review under my profile for this spot, the only review, which I used to get a battery replaced. The service was bad as the replacement left my screen on my iPhone messed up with offcoloring and light issues, more than likely due to tampering to get to the battery and also due to the screen being aftermarket. I didn't care as I figured that I pay cheap for cheap quality and left it at that. It really is screwed up however that this spot went through my phone to write a positive review, I only came to this store based off reviews on the first place. I've had a Yelp profile for nearly a decade, no reviews but this fake one that it took me 6 months to find. I'm not really satisfied with the battery replacement quality but that's entirely separate from the mass invasion of privacy and deceit this store does to have positive review. It's my fault for leaving my phone unlocked at the time of drop off though it doesn't give this establishment the right to pry around, who knows what else they do if they're willing to log in to their customers phones for bad purposes. Returned to warranty their faulty screen and Wade used a magnifying glass to find a microscopic scratch on screen and voided warranty. Tried to charge additional money and I refused. Customer satisfaction means nothing to them. In addition to being cash only which is already suspicious. Should have known better. Bought the same screen for $20 on Amazon with tools and instructions and it works perfect. Easy job. Don't waste your hard earned money here. They will not take care of you. Do your research. Great customer service, I don't know who helped me but he was very polite and answered all my questions. Got what I wanted quick and I will be going back for phone accessories. Three things I wish were different at the store: 1. Cannot use debit/credit, cash only store. 2. Little bit creepy, can't see inside store.(Took me two weeks to finally go in) 3. For those who don't want to read my whole review: 1. Didn't give final price in quote 2. Did not honor his warranty 3. Left screws screwed in incompletely and at an angle 4. Texted my phone without consent Over the phone he quoted me the $79 price to fix my iPhone 5S screen, but he charges tax. If you know you're gonna tax it, either say PLUS TAX or tell me the end price. He also told me flat out "There's a 30-day warranty if something happens with your screen", being that I'm within that 30 day period and the screen cracked, I went in to get it fixed again. Alas, despite his unspecific, and thus inclusive, description of the warranty, he turned me away saying it's only if the screen gets lines on it or something. From my experience in retail, you are to honor what is advertised even when it is incorrect because it's the fault of the business, not the consumer. Also, when I picked up my phone the screws by the microphone were screwed in at an angle and obviously not all the way in. Thankfully I had the screw driver to fix it with, but come on. Finally, about 20 minutes after I picked up my phone he texted me asking me to write a review (I'll post a picture). Since honesty and transparency are important in reviews, at that point I figured I shouldn't seeing as he hadn't paid the attention to detail that you'd want from someone performing such a service. Clearly I don't feel the need to extend that kindness anymore. I'm not sure how to respond to a comment on my own review so, Wade, here's my response: I have no issue with what your warranty is, the issue is that it was misrepresented and then not honored as such.
