Updating my review. i had my battery replaced and the screen replaced by Mike. Unfortunately, the screen was having issues after a month and a half of use with the new replacement. Called Mike and in 5 minutes he responded. Meet me at his shop in Newark after 15 minutes and had me in and out in less than 10. I appreciate that he did not dodge my phone calls and was wiling to honor his 90 day warranty for screens/replacements. He was very friendly and even offered other advice to keep my phone in tip top shape. I appreciate his honesty and his prompt reply and service. I would highly recommend. One the greatest, seamless, efficient service from start to finish I have had at an iPhone Repair retail store. I didn't catch the techs name but he was knowledgeable and nice about the issues I was having with my phone. Here's the kicker, I asked for a specific type of screen so that I could see it with my polarized glasses on and even though he could have just sold me that very expensive screen he suggested a cheaper option that was of equal quality and fit my needs just the same! Called and made an appointment for 3 on Saturday afternoon. I show up to the store and he's CLOSED!! I waited outside in the also dark lobby for about 10 minutes just to make sure but he never showed. I made an appointment with another store right there in the lobby and they matched his price. The screen cracked on my iPhone 6s as well as the charging port was not working so I called around and iPhone Repair Squad was able to fix it the fastest and at the most affordable rate. I met, Roman and their not even opened, brand new Newark location which I thought was nice of him to allow me to get my phone fixed although they were entirely open yet. He was very nice and fixed my phone quickly. He even gave me a new phone case. However, a few days after getting my phone fixed the screen started freezing really badly. I gave it a few days, updated my phone, reset my phone, etc. and it was still freezing which was not happening prior to getting it fixed. I texted Roman (10 min after hours) and told him what was going on. He called me right away and said he'd call again when he was going to be at the Newark location. I waited and waited, and waited and still to this day haven't received a call back despite calling the store a few times and his cell phone as well. At this point, I would not recommend iPhone repair squad to anyone since they don't follow their promised 30 days warranty on fixing issues that may continue after the fix. Personally, id rather pay a little more and wait a little longer to get my phone fixed next time than go to a place that doesn't honor their policy and fix their potential mistakes. read more

This repair shop was convenient to get to and the service was top notch. Karim worked with my schedule and returned calls promptly and when he said he would. Seems like a simple thing, but good customer service is rare these days, and Karim nailed it. When my weekend plans changed on Saturday we talked options and he stayed in the shop today on Father's Day to replace my cracked iPhone 6 Plus screen so I would have it for work Monday morning. The cost was very reasonable and he included a free Incipio molded impact case. Albeit bright Orange as that is all he had left... lol. Roman is very professional and down to earth guy. I got a I7 from my brother a couple of weeks ago and ended up dropping it while riding my bike to the store. Newark guy is a crook .Took my 2 ipads to get fixed .. one didn't power on & another ipad i could not activate it because my kid forgot apple ID & password .. ipad with no power the guy just put on his charger when i would go to the store to check if ipads were ready .. for activation lock ipad he kept asking me what the icloud Id was .. i gave him couple of Apple Id's that i thought my kid may have used but i told him im not sure about the ID or password .. reason i came to him cause I didnt know the ID.. he told me the apple ID i gave him is correct & apple link will be text to my phone to change the password .. but he said the text will come in few hours or overnight to change my password & after that i can activate /log on my ipad . I paid him $35 .I never received the apple text with link for whole night & next day . When i called about not getting the text , he said wait few more hours .. waited still no text ..has anyone waited 24hours to change password for apple ID??called back then he sent me a text with password from his cell phone .. not from apple..of course his fake password failed .. went to the store he blamed me for giving him wrong apple ID kept my money cause he sent me a password which he sent from his cell( fake made up password) my other ipad still he could not power on .. my 2nd ipad i still couldn't activate.. he did nothing & took my money .. talks nice , he will meet you at your convince, cheap prices .. but he knows nothing more then changing a screen on cell phones .. i told him to keep the $35 and buy some shoes .. he walks arond with no shoes in that small newark store or looks like a rented bedroom .. $35 were from my 8yr old sons saving .. hope you happy ripping people off read more
