I had a very frustrating experience at this Verizon store, and unfortunately it's not the first time. I ordered an iPhone online, and the order stayed "processing" for three days with no updates. I finally went to the store to ask what was going on, and they literally had the phone in their hands with the receipt already printed. However, they told me they couldn't give it to me because "the system had canceled the order." What made it worse is that they said they couldn't cancel it from their side and that I had to call customer service myself to fix the issue. This is extremely poor service and a complete waste of a customer's time. This isn't the first problem I've had at this location. A few months ago, they convinced me to switch my regular account to a business account, promising that I would pay less. They had me purchase Verizon Home Internet, but they never transferred my phone lines because they said I might lose my promotions and they weren't sure if it would work. At the end, nothing was resolved and I was left dealing with the consequences. The lack of accountability, poor communication, and disorganization at this store is unacceptable. I have been waiting at the Verizon store near Mowry Avenue in Fremont for over an hour, and the service experience has been very disappointing. Only one employee is currently assisting customers while a long line of at least seven people is waiting. Meanwhile, other staff members appear to be sitting in the back office area behind the curtain and are not coming out to help customers on the floor. This has created unnecessary delays, and customers are being left unattended for a long time. I was even told to visit another store, which feels unprofessional and disrespectful to customers who are already waiting. I strongly request management to review staffing, supervision, and customer service practices at this location to ensure proper attention and better service standards. read more

Very happy with the representative Shawn. He was super patient with my mom and I and honestly all the customers. Super detailed & really liked his customer service skills as Ive worked in the industry myself. For the store specifically--not representative based--I do wish they had an appointment tablet or sign in sheet or a little more attentive when you first walk in..You know when you walk into places and even if they're talking to someone else they at least greet you? We waited roughly 25-30 minutes standing around until we finally got helped. Someone was there before us, he left. Another woman walked in, she left too when she saw it was busy. We only stayed because we really needed help and had the time to wait. It does drive people away though if theres only 2 reps and not a hello or anything. And even worse, if the current customer takes 2 hours, were we supposed to just wait 2 hours till theyre done? My apologies if there IS an appointment system but nowhere did i see anywhere to actually make one. It does make me nervous if someone comes after us and says "i was here before them" when they really were not, hence, there being a visible sign in sheet. as this has occurred at other establishments. Do not use Verizon - Run away. A Verizon Business Representative sold the internet service based on a "Guaranty of Business Line Service" promise of high reliability and guaranteed upload/download speeds for the new 5G internet line. The 5G internet service was unusable. It suffered frequent interruptions, particularly when raining. Technical support failed to resolve the issue. We formally canceled the service in December 2024. A Verizon representative confirmed this termination, and the line has not been used since that date. Despite confirmed cancellation, Verizon resumed unauthorized and fraudulent billing in March 2025. Since March 2025, we have called the Account Team multiple times; each time, cancellation was re-confirmed and a full refund promised. As of today (November 17, 2025), the account remains open, unauthorized billing continues, and ZERO refunds have been issued. This pattern of deceptive business practice rooted in management and policy, not isolated individual error. I hope BBB, FTC, and FCC could help resolve this. Or a class action suit as this practice affects vast customer base. read more

Next time went in, he helped me set up my new phone and do the transfer, get a case, and put on my protector. Final time, completed my trade in by giving my old phone in within the required time. I have come twice in the last two weeks while getting a new phone and each time there is no check in process. There is only one person working and when new people come in to get helped there is no welcome or process to check in and know who is next and how long it will take. It's really hard to deal with. Big thanks to Morgan who spent 2 hours (!!) patiently working through some complex family plan logistics with me. Wow, just checked my bill and they didn't even apply the $150 off promo for the apple watch. I had to call in and waited over an hr for support to give up and just apply a direct $150 off my bill as they could not locate the correct promo code to apply. I'm fine with that since I'm still getting the same discount but that's just insult to injury. Not only did they forced me to come back into the store to pick up the device when they could've just shipped directly to my home, they didn't even apply the promo to the device!!! Horrible service. Aj was really nice and asked me what I came for I explained what my problem was, he explained that they were not a store with tech support. He then asked a lady who was in gym attire for assistance with directing me to the right place. She proceeds to tell him that they are not a corporate store sounds like an apple problem. Unbelievable. I find it absolutely ridiculous that every single time I come into this store there is a single person helping customers. My wait time is an hour or longer. Verizon overcharged me for a router I was testing and never used for longer than a day, because every time I would come to the store to return it before the 1 month trial ended, I would find an endless line and wait time and had to leave. This store in particular is also very stuffy and not properly ventilated. It does not smell good. And it's unbearable to stay in the store, especially during flu season. read more

Watch out for hidden fees. This store will charge a nonrefundable $30 hidden set up and go fee as "tax" even when you are not requesting any setup help. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!! TERRIBLE SERVICE!! If I could do a -1 I would. My phone was completely destroyed by myself. I totally take credit for its demise. All I needed was a replacement. Asked the young lady for one and all she wanted was to sell me accessories I didn't need and kept encouraging me to use Verizon Internet service again which I did not need. The other sales person asked the lady helping me "Would you like anything from Taco Bell"? She stops helping me and starts to talk about her order. SERIOUSLY? Finally we settle on a phone option. Had to wait for 10 minutes for the safe to open to get it. Ooops the safe got stuck while opening and had to wait another 10 minutes which in that time tried again to sell me stuff I didn't need or want. Then she proceeds to tell me I owe money to pay off the broken phone. No problem for me I just need a phone. Finally the safe opens and guess what??? The phone we agreed upon is not there. He was patient and made the process of switching from my old carrier to Verizon, and also helping me to choose a new phone, as easy and quickly as possible. After leaving the store, I had to call Verizon a few times and AJ was kind enough to pick up the phone each time, and actually called me back right away when he couldn't come to the phone. I went back to the store the next morning for more assistance, and this time, Manager Shakira and Tech Jelly assisted me and were so kind and patient. I needed to get a new phone for my kid. Walked in and worked with Carlos, and apparently he was new there. I'll tell you more about him in a bit...nothing bad to say about him...He was very kind. The other guys [Not the manager, he's next] were like a bad version of the Jersey Shore. Guys sitting around a round table, staring you down when you walk in. Every one sitting around talking smack or on a computer. One of them even looked up and down at my 12 year old. I didn't say anything about it but it was obvious. We started working with Carlos and kept it moving when another customer walked in and sat at THE TABLE. It was like a poker game. 3 against one. I guess the man owed more than $4000 on his bill and they turned off his phone. Basically they tore him to shreds in front of everyone in the store. We had to listen to the man be called BRO and all 3 of them talking down to this man who just came in to handle his business. It had to be not only embarrasing for him but it was really embarrasing for us and we felt so bad for the guy. These little boys thinking they are all big and bad talking down to a CUSTOMER of all things. The manager didn't say ANYTHING to them, he just let them continue on. They were unprofessional, loud and obnoxious and are in the wrong business. You need to know how to do customer service and these boys all don't know a thing about it. After the guy walked out they continued to talk about the guy loudly in front of everyone!! Pathetic! The manager did try his best to help us save money but we didn't need things he offered. Carlos was the only one that was 100% professional at all times with us. As I was leaving, I told the manager how professional and nice Carlos was and as I was walking out, one of the little boys yelled " yea carlos is the best!' or some stuff like that, to which I answered, "yeah way better than you!" Service is good but don't let the word " Verizon " mislead you. This is not an actually Verizon Store so if you need to buy a new phone. Get new contract or even anything related to the phone. Don't buy it here. They charge you extra fee on top of whatever Verizon charge you. If you are not sure which store to go to. Call customer service and let them give you the address. I made mistake and end up I had to pay $40 more. They said I can return within 14 days but it's a lie. They won't refund you the whole bill. They either charge you restocking fee even I didn't open the box. Or they won't refund that $40 which they call set up fee , I am with Verizon many years and I have to pay set up fee for this store. I went into this location a few weeks ago, needing to get onto my partners plan & purchase a new phone! While doing so Anjeli was SO SO SO much help! She made the process very easy even though my last phone carrier spr*nt (POS company) made it very difficult for me to switch over!! I was having a few problems with activation so I came in the following day after purchasing my new iphone 12 max pro, Anjeli & Shikira were very helpful getting my phone ready! These ladies are awesome! It was also getting super busy outside & of course due to covid there are social distancing rules that I hope everyone can understand & abide by!! Avoid this store at all cost!!! In Brief review. - Not Trustworthy - Misleading - Awful customer service What could have been a smooth transaction turned out to be a nightmare ordeal. I wasted my whole week trying to resolve my purchases. They took advantage of the fact that I went into the store my baby and was in a rush to get it all sorted. I have been a longstanding verizon customer but this experience really put me off. I wanted to purchase from a local store to develop a long relationship but I will never go back or recommend to any of my friends or family. On Sunday- June 10th 2018, I visited the Verizon franchise retail store at the Fremont Hub location with my Wife and infant to upgrade my Pay monthly mobile phones. I was also sold a Pre Pay SIM card for $30.00. At checkout I was asked to sign on a digital signature pad. Only one receipt was provided for $365.21 with the products. Later at home I reviewed the receipt in detail and found other items to the bill without my consent and knowledge. On Monday, I went back to the store for an explanation on the additional charges and was told by the Store Manger (Justin) that those charges would be reimbursed and I will get the credit in my monthly bill. That seemed odd so I asked for a written policy. I was told that they can't provide policy details and provided a web link to claim the credit which turned out to be a cancellation form for some of of items. On further reviewing the transactions on my card, I received a second receipt of $62.81 for the PrePay SIM card which also contained similar additional charges. When I asked the Manager for an explanation he repeated the same bill credit claim without any evidence. I got frustrated and left the store. I did some research and found that I was misrepresented into purchasing the items and those additional charges were never disclosed. Wednesday, I visited the store again and explained the issue to the Assistant Manager. I asked for refund for the items as I was charged without consent. I was assured that this matter will be escalated to the District Manager to get the approval for a refund and wast told to wait for her call. On Thursday evening the Assistant Manager called me and asked me to come to store to process the refund. However, when I got to the store she only refunded a few items. Contrary to our conversation over the phone, she rejected the refund for PrePay SIM card transaction informing me that the system does not allow it and the distract manager is unreachable to authorize the refund. I left the store again frustrated and without a full remedy. read more
