I stopped by this Target to get some baby food for my daughter. This location was close to my wife aunt place which is where we're staying. I found parking easily when we came. We found the infants area just fine because Target usually keep it around the same place. We found the baby food that we wanted and also other stuff too. Since we were here, we wanted to get snacks as well so we went down to the produce area. This Target is pretty big inside and there are employees throughout the store. They have four checkout station here but two were down. I paid with a cashier and then saw one of the sunscreen I got was expensive. So I went back to try and return it but no one was working the counter at customer service. I asked another worker who was doing the drive up delivery and he said someone would come soon. No one came so he was the one who refunded me. read more

As usual, I went to another Target store and yet, they still don't have the laptop sleeve I wanted. I guess that many people really purchased a lot of them since the price is good. This isn't the only thing I want to talk about. I heard that they're making big changes here. I saw that they closed their Starbucks as well as other sections from the store with white curtains or something. They moved some of the refrigerators to do the renovations I think. Also, some parts of the areas were quite empty. I wonder what the big changes are but I don't think much is really going to change anyways. I think they should start stocking up electronics and their accessories again, but I don't think that will happen. Target has really changed. Back then, there were many electronics. Another quick update. This is one of our local Targets and unfortunately since this is in a busy shopping area, it can get pretty low in stock with various items. This time round we were coming in to get soda to take advantage of the three 12 pack sodas for 40% off which is quite a deal. But as I said, it is a popular spot so their stock on certain items may go more quickly and they don't stock as much. This time round it was Dr. Pepper Zero. It's okay, they did luckily have Diet Dr. Pepper but that was also starting to go low. It was also Super Bowl weekend so I'm sure everyone was also taking advantage of their deal. The parking here is always relatively easy and plentiful. Paying is really easy as self check out is there and they do have a scanner now so it's easier to scan larger heavier items. I came into the store to purchase polaroid film the day of our company children's party (earlier this month, December 10th) because I purchased the wrong type. The film was in a locked case which is understandable and expected. I located the film needed and the cashier picked the items and said I needed to pay in the electronics department (again understandable) The film rang up at the wrong price. I let the cashier know the price rang different than the sign where she just picked the two packs from. She stated "this is the price" I said well the sign is incorrect, several packs were on the row that said 19.99 and the item was actually 36.99. I told the clerk I would like the price honored because I did not put the items there and the description matches. She said someone must have moved them. (I wish I had gotten her name but she has pink hair) I informed her I am not sure how that happened, it would have to be an employee that made the mistake because the case is locked but I would like the correct price honored. The employee became agitated and said she could not do that and Target does not do that. I then thanked the employee and asked her to call a manager. She then told me THEY wouldn't do it either, it's 36.99. I told her I understood she could not make the change but I insist on speaking to a manager. The employee walked away and was gone about 10 minutes, I saw her on another aisle in the electronic section and asked if she called the manager and how much longer it would be. The employee stated she didn't know, she called her and it would take however long it for her to get there. She was extremely rude and dismissive. Once the manager/supervisor arrived (Vanessa) I explained what happened and asked if she could honor the price, she stated she could honor the price for one of the items (I was purchasing 2). I thanked her and told her that was fine. WHILE SHE WAS HELPING ME, Ms. Pink hair, comes up to the counter and says where are the other film cartridges? I left them here. My coworker said, "no you took them back and locked them back up in the case." At that point, the employee says loud and aggressively, the film was right here *slaps counter" and these two were the only one's here, have security run the tapes back, somebody took them. We were so offended and upset to be accused of stealing over a mistake someone who works there made. There was no need for her to get loud and embarrass us this way. Vanessa then asked Ms. Pink hair to leave the department and take a break while she helped us, she apologized for the employee's behavior and honored the price for both of the packs of films I wanted to purchase. Kudos to Vanessa for her professionalism but shame on Ms. Pink hair, I think further training is needed on this type of situation as well as remaining respectful and tact when handling customers. I am a regular customer at this Target, but my recent experience was very disappointing. I arrived before closing to do WIC shopping and purchase other items, including electronics. Due to the construction, it was already difficult to find what I needed, and I waited about 15 minutes for help with a locked item. When employee Berenice finally assisted me, she was rude and accused me of yelling when I was simply frustrated after waiting so long. When I asked for her name, manager Marina was also unprofessional and raised her voice at me. Customers who arrive before closing and are actively shopping deserve respectful service. It is located at a convenient location . The customer service is good . Many different merchandise to choose from . I love their food section ( snacks , bakery , frozen food , canned food , spices , pastas ) etc etc . You name it , they have it . It may not be the least price in town but it is very convenient. I am not too impressed with their restrooms . It needs more cleaning and maintenance with heavy customers flow . I love their clothes department but I think the small items like beanie , scarf , coin purses, pendants , etc . I hope that it can have a good sale prices when they go on sale . Like in Walmart one pair of gloves that was $9 and is now on sale for $1 . I am glad that they gave CVS pharmacy inside so that I can shop while waiting for my prescriptions . read more

As someone who used to work here even through covid.... I am pleading you to not come to this Target UNLESS THIS IS YOUR LAST RESORT. Like I actually mean it. It looks like all the young people run the show, but they absolutely have no clue how to handle criticism from customers (unlike when i was working there). Quite frankly, I have a lot more to say than when I first reviewed this place before covid LOL. To start: their grocery aisle is barely stacked with items. Their products are not FEFO-ed properly, and some items they have in stock are either expired or rotted (this includes fruits and vegetables) that either they don't even have the man power to toss, or they're just lazy. They're also not helpful and in the past few times I've had to flag a team member down to find stuff, I've had a fair share of side eyes and disgusts from them as if they don't like their job. (Just saying, if OSHA were to come in and do an inspection... they're for sure to fail and eventually shut down the whole store). The front end (registers/guest services) is an absolute nightmare -- there's barely anybody that can fully help you so be prepared to have to help yourself through the process if you're going to come here. Not only are the cashiers not adequately trained, but they throw a BUNCH of shade at you without any further reason why. Worse yet, they'll argue with you if you try doing price matches. Their new managers do not know what the price matching policy is, and they shove it up us as customers that we don't know what we're doing, when in reality.... I've had to deal with my fair share of it. The only place I felt more at ease was the tech and clothing department. I'm never going to come here again unless this is really my last resort... and I'm not able to find the toy or tool I really need. read more

I had a curbside pickup and an item was missing. Called the store 6 times and kept getting hung up on. Asked two other workers Michael and Kailey and Kailey yelled at me telling me she was busy and when I asked why she was yelling she told me "go inside and complain it's not my fucking problem". She walked away and yelled at 2 other people and left them talking to themselves in the process. Waited to over 20 minutes to get my items. So unprofessional to speak to guest like that especially when the point of curb side is to have the items delivered to you and me to get yelled at cussed at is unacceptable. read more

I am writing regarding a frustrating experience with my recent in-store pickup of an electric grill. After showing the barcode at the customer service counter, the staff member who scanned it went to retrieve the package and left me waiting for 30 minutes without any updates. Three associates were moving around the store, yet no one came to inform me of the delay. When I finally asked for assistance, another staff member scanned the barcode and returned after five minutes to say the package was missing. This lack of communication was unacceptable. I would have gladly left the store and been contacted once the item was located. At this point, I request that the item be shipped to my home instead of asking me to return to the store later. I would appreciate a prompt response regarding this resolution and steps to prevent such poor service in the future. read more

This review is for their Sales Associate, Jess. Went in there tonight and the first place I needed to go was the customer service counter to conduct an item return. While I was In line, waiting for my turn, another associate behind the counter was being chewed out by a customer with some issue about a gift card. That customer service rep. Did a great job by the way with that very irate woman. He held his composure, was apologetic and he was very professional!! "Great Job!" However, the woman insisted on escalating the issue ... in comes Jess. She basically repeated what the last associate had told the customer but I guess the customer finally got the clue at this point, calmed the F down and decided to just leave. Jess then assisted me with my return. Just pulled out my card, she credited me the amount and 'boom' ... I was done. Quick transaction. "No fuss, No Muss." Is that saying?? Went about my way, pulled out my checklist of items, filled up my cart and off to cashier #5 I go. As I'm waiting in line, I began to browse one of the books sitting at a nearby shelf - Nora Roberts newest novel, IDENTITY. As I'm reading the synopsis Jess comes along and asks, "Are you going to buy that book?" Just from her immediate tone I thought 'Oh, F-ck. What did I do?' I thought for a sec that I had damaged the book and she was expecting me to buy it. Like, 'you break it, you buy it' kinda store policy that I didn't know about. The book looked a bit beat up so I thought maybe she assumed that I'd done something to it. Lol. NOT GUILTY!! But, to my surprise, she says "Target has price matching. So you might be able to get this cheaper." She looks at Target online - $20.99. She checks Amazon - also listed at $20. Their in store price however was $30. I wasn't aware Target offered price matching! And I was so impressed that she had introduced me to it that I ended up purchasing the book. 'Here you go, Rafael!' (Working Register #5) 'take my husband's money!' (And I proceeded to swipe his credit card to pay for my new book along with the rest of the items in my cart. An unexpected purchase, yes. I bought a Visa pre-paid gift card for my kid to take to their multi-day school trip. Unfortunately, when the plastic package was opened to take the card out, the card only had 12 digits instead of 16, so it was unusable. What a bummer! I went back to Target to report and return this "fake" card, they mentioned they don't return gift cards even though they sold this scam/fake card! They asked me to call the customer service to get the issue resolved, which I did, only to be on hold twice for extended period of time, and then told that I need to contact Visa instead, not Target. Another 1 hr wait on call with Visa - only to learn that they need me to provide my personal information including address, email, birth date... Well, I can understand if they need me to send a replacement or refund, but all this information - they did not need this when I bought the card. By now this whole experience feels like a scam! Target INCLUDED in this scam! From a customer's perspective, I bought this from Target. Target can not and should not put their customer through such runaround sham! I came in last week to purchase a few items. I usually go through self checkout but I decided I would checkout with a cashier instead. There was someone paying and there was someone ahead of me. The person in front of me placed his item on the belt and he did not want his item to move forward while the other person was still there paying. I honestly thought it was not a rude gesture. However, the cashier did not make eye contact with him instead just said, "you can leave it." with a snappy attitude. He looked back at me confused, and a little uncomfortable. When it was my turn, she did not make eye contact she looked annoyed at doing her job. I understand maybe she was having a bad day so before walking away, I told her to have a good day. BUT I decided to go back a day or two to return some stuff. She was now helping at returns/pick up. I knew then that, that is how she is. No eye contact again, very monotoned, very annoyed. I did not get to catch her name because her vest was covering her name tag. I honestly hope someone speaks with her because her attitude and face is not it. If you do not like working in customer service or helping others then please get a different job. read more

I've been working for Shipt for a year now & sometimes I have to pre pack items to help myself get ahead of time when delivering. It was never an issue when I'd pre pack groceries with anyone else & I never overload bags so it can be checked easily by employees. She made a comment "where's the stuff I need to check" with an attitude then proceeded to say not to put anything in the bags before she checks. I understand to a certain extent. I'm writing this review to credit Mya for my shopping experience. While waiting in line, I noticed Mya greeted every customer with a smile. When it was my turn, she helped ensure I got the right humidifier since I hadn't bought one before. Great customer service! The check-out process is the most impactful regarding the shoppers' experiences, especially when it's busy, so kudos to Mya for making my experience a breeze. Honestly bad costumers service every time you call they answer and hang up not good at all

Just a nightmare. Their drive up/pick up department is horrible. I went once and waited 30 minutes for them after letting them know I had arrived for pick up. If I had 30 minutes to give I wouldn't have done drive up and would have gone into the store myself. At that point I just left and cancelled my order and went to another store. I most recently made the trek to the store and they gave me the wrong item and then told me that the item was sold out in store. The order was confirmed and ready for pick up for a few days and I needed the item for an event. When I went to try ship the item it wouldn't arrive until after the event. Had they cancelled the order and let me know that the item was no longer available I would have been able to place the order in time and had it shipped to me. I called customer service and they let me know that they have no options to help me. read more

During the pandemic, I was able to find hand sanitizers, disinfectant wipes, paper towels, and toilet papers. The items are stocked and organized very well which made it so easy to find. A breath of fresh air in Fremont where part of the population thinks the apocalypse is here for goodness sake. I have been to 5 stores in town and most of them look like a war zone! No joke this is ridiculous already we all have bodily functions we all go to the bathroom why can't I find TP in 5 stores??? People have lost their minds!!!! I walked in This Target an its clean well organized AND stocked during this Covid19 crisis where I guess if you're willing to stake out a store and stand in line before they open you may get lucky! I'm not willing... Okay so I didn't buy any here either, they were also out! But it doesn't look like a bomb went off!! They did have lettuce though. No bread like all the other stores. I can sacrifice bread I suppose! A few days ago all was normal. Let's all be respectful, patient & kind in these crazy days of "Shelter in place" and know this will not last. Someday I will be able to buy TP again... Thankfully I have traveled and know things. Thing's like what people use in corners of the world that have never seen store bought TP... I'm not there yet... I did score my 1 box limit of tissue at Target. Oh and did I mention I hardly seen anyone else shopping? I mean there was a couple other shoppers in the store but it was nice, no crowds no lines no hassle parking... looking for an finding the silver lining... I honestly feel bad if this is your local target. Thank god I was just in the area. I'm not one to "talk to a manger" but today I just had to and honestly I was so upset that it made me cry. You truly don't know what someone's going through so treat others with some kindness.. Was just shopping with my son, he's only a few months old in a stroller. As I approached the fitting room, I see an associate standing at the desk they have in the fitting rooms and her head was down because she was on her phone. I asked kindly if I can get a fitting room. She didn't even look up and said "go ahead". That was already weird to me. So I go in and all the fitting rooms that were open were too small for a stroller. I went back out and said "I'm sorry can you open the family one for me" and she turns around and says "they're not open"... clearly so my response was "I know can you open it?" And her response was "I don't have a key, use one that's open".... At that point I'm so frustrated because clearly she can see I have a baby and a stroller.. so I'm standing there like.... "Can you ask someone who has the key?" Mind you she had a walkie talkie right in her hand and she goes " sorry I'm not working the fitting room right now"........ I'm literally dumbfounded at this point I'm like straight up " you're starting to piss me off I'd like to speak to a manager". Guess what she does? Gets on the walkie and ask someone to open it for me... mind you she also told me they were not in use so she lied. She was just lazy and not willing to help me. To work at target knowing it's a custom service type of job, it really blows my mind. I understand that people have bad days but why am I begging you who works at target to please open a room that both myself and my stroller can fit. Why do I need to beg for that. All you had to do was ask someone for me, I was patient and told you I can wait but instead you just didn't want to help. She basically looked at me and told me to make it work with what's open because every other stall is broken when it wasn't. There's a million jobs that doesn't require you to be front line ok customer service... I love me some Target and I can almost guarantee that a majority of people will agree with me. While Target always hits the spot whenever it comes to any and all of my needs, not all locations provide enjoyable shopping experiences. This particular Pacific Commons location is an absolute delight. I'm not sure if it was the time of my visit or luck being on my side but I enjoyed the calmness of this location. The store was not crowded, aisles were stocked, the store was organized, and most importantly they had my TV in stock!! Whoo Hoo!!! Employees were quick to help and they did it with a smile!!! Yes, A SMILE!! I don't come across that too often, especially nowadays so it was greatly appreciated. 5/5 stars. I only wished this Target was closer to home. This location comes highly recommended and absolutely worth the longer drive!! read more

This Target has plenty of parking and is clean for the most part. The self checkout area is very ghetto but the rest of the store is kept up a bit better. For some reason this store is running lower on stock of pretty much everything than other stores. Can't really blame supply chain issues when other stores are fully stocked. Today's experience was something I had NEVER experienced before. I took my 9 year old daughter to our favorite target (I live closer to the target at fremont hub but my kids and I have dubbed fremont south to be our favorite) to do some back to school shopping and to pick up an order I had placed earlier in the day. We had a lot of stuff, so we went through a regular checkout line. The lady who checked us out was an absolute doll. Forgive me for not getting her name. I didn't think I'd be writing a review. Everything we purchased was bagged except one of those $10 standing room essentials lamp. My daughter then asked if she could get a pizza from the hot food section. We waited for 5 minutes for an associate to come and take her order. Once we got her pizza, I opted to pick up my order in store instead of driving up. As we make our way past the exit/ entrances, I see the security guard but pay her no mind. I wait a few minutes to get my order, and my daughter and I are on our way out the door. Then, the security guard stops me and says "did you just do an order pick up?" Um yes I did Rudely she asked to see my receipt. Umm sure but why. I'm just looking to see if you paid for a certain item. I immediately feel my blood boiling Did you not just see me go through the checkout wait for pizza and walk pass you? I show her my pick up receipt she says the item she's looking for isn't on there. I asked her to tell me what item and I'll show her She says the stupid $10 standing lamp!!! I was FURIOUS! I'm thinking my daughter is standing here with an old ass $7 pizza hut target pizza, and you thought I was stealing a $10 lamp! I get the receipt and tell her to go through all my bags and make sure I paid for everything I would hate for the pack of gum to go unscaned. I called her stupid, and she said I'm target security. The place was the typical setup but just disorganized. The clothes are everywhere when we came in and it was just too unappealing on my part. I guess people were on change shifts at this time coz no one is on the floor taking care of the stocks. Then again if the customers were so much of a slob to actually not make a mess on the merchandise while shopping it would also have helped.
