I did a bunch of shopping for Christmas and well the deals were on fire all over the place including Old Navy. I saw some really cute Disney sleep shorts and for only $5 I couldn't say no but I didn't have enough for their default free shipping so I hoped that an Old Navy nearby would have it so I could just pick up. Thank goodness Old Navy at Pacific Commons had it. L O C A T I O N Old Navy is located west of 880. In the area right next to the freeway. It's near Sephora and Coldstone. There is a lot of parking in this shopping area so it's not hard to find parking. They also have designated 5-10 minute pick up only spots which I utilized when I came in. I N S I D E It does smell funky in here. Not sure what it is but it's funky. I walked in and went directly to the line for the registers as I didn't know how else to pick up an order. It said there's a designated spot. I saw a sign but not really a place to line up. S E R V I C E I did wait a bit in line as there wasn't many folks shopping the day I stopped by. It was a weekday. When I finally got to a register, I pulled up the order bar code from the email I received and they found my order and I went out right away. I did have to come back to return my order and again, I went on a weekday and although 3 registers were open, they were all busy with complicated transactions or returns. After I finally get up there to do my return, I didn't have a bar code but they were able to find my order on my account and easily did my return. That part didn't take too long. O V E R A L L Old Navy is a place I used to shop a lot as a teenager due to the deals. I find myself not gravitating to it as often as other stores but when I see a deal and cute items, I will shop here. It was easy to order online and do a store pick up. Unfortuantely wait times can vary and can cause an easy 5 minute stop to become 15-20 minutes. Again not too bad but wish it could be faster. I will definitely utilize this store in the future due to the proximity and the easy parking, but unlikely to often shop here. read more

She was extremely polite and patient. She also put in extra effort to call up another store . I stopped in today to shop for my family and when I went to check out I was using my old navy card to pay I forgot my ID and asked if I could show alternative identification and the girl at the register said she needed my ID so I proceeded to look for it and then she said she would accept a picture if I had one and I said I didn't but could you use my Costco card since it had my pic and name and she said oh no I need to see a physical id but I wasn't understanding why a picture of it would be acceptable she gave me a hard time all around I ended up leaving the store and not purchasing anything. 1/3 to buy a outfit and when I entered the dressing room. It was filthy piles of dust bunnies and broken hangers-on the floor and really dusty to the point where I had to scrape the dust. Bunnies off my pants. It's low that was supposed to be my own expressing room spent her time using code haters. In a rack that they didn't even have her clothes. They didn't even check to see how many pieces of garments I had with me. I had to use the bathroom at old navy. Another example of the filth that is there. I had to put 3 seat covers on the toilet seat. Because I really needed to use the bathroom. No one had swept the floor and the toilet was broken so I don't know. Maybe they're not paying someone to come in and clean. But definitely would not go to that facility again.. read more

Old Navy always has great sales and promotions, so we shop here whenever they have a good sale going on. This location is located inside the Pacific Commons Shopping Center here in Fremont, California. It's a wonderful store with very resonable prices, even more resonable when they have a sale or promotion going on. This location gets really good busy, they are always busy with tons of people shopping for a good deal. The store is not as organzied as itcould be, but that's because the customers who shop here do not put things back on the shelves correctly. Often times you will find stuff on the floors and even left in the fitting room floors. The checkout lines here are really long, there is always a wait no matter what time you come. The wait can be a little while, but the line does move as a decent pace. The customer service is alright, the people that work here are friendly for the most part and they are helpful. This location has plenty of parking in the store front along with various other food and shopping spots within walking distance. If you come in on a weekend afternoon expect there to be long lines and messy displays. But if you come in the mornings or on weekdays then it's pretty empty and organized. In general old navy is a pretty solid spot for clothing. My all time favorite are the rockstar jeans but sizing can vary between different pairs I find myself having to go a size down in some styles because of how stretchy the fabric is. But rockstar jeans are my ride or die skinny jeans. The active wear they have is also some of my favorite. They have high waited yoga pants that stay in place when running or going to the gym. The blouses they have tend to be hit or miss with sizing as well I can go up a size or down a size, so when coming here you really should try things on. In general I've always had pleasant experiences with the staff everyone is pretty friendly. Lines can get long but you just need a little patience. read more

I forgot how the quality of old navy pants were! I havent been to a location sine I was a pre-teen. So it's been about over 10 years since I stepped foot into a Old Navy but man..... I was not disappointed! They got a huge selection of clothes for all ages! I now get all of my work pants here since they are so affordable and the quality is so great compared to other stores! They have deals in here all the time and sometimes if you spend a certain amount they give you a coupon for $20 of your next visit of a certain amount that is. I dont remember if it was some old navy cash certificate or something but within the last few months I've prolly spent about $200 on pants for myself and clothes for my brother too! We normally spend about an hour or less looking and their selection of styles. Make sure to take a quick peak at the sales section as you may be able to come across some real good steal deals for shirts and pants! Oh, and prepare to wait in line for 30+ if you come during a busy time. If not, you should be fine with a normal wait time in line for about 10-15 mins. read more

Love old navy !!! After picking up grocery from Costco, I like to take a trip to old navy and check out some deals. They usually have amazing deals going on like I went on Saturday and it was 70% off on entire store. I picked up formal pants($15), shirts($2) and dresses($7-10). I also love there sports wear collection and the quality of clothing is really good. The staff at this location is very friendly, they were helping me pick clothes that have deals on them. Like most Old Navys, they have the selection you see on TV, it's organized and the bright colors may just perk up your mood a bit. Since most reviews are about the experience (which has always been good for me), I wanted to let ya'll know about the awesome return policy. Please keep in mind this might change so please ask the sales associate if it's still valid. Old Navy accepts returns of ANY piece of clothing for ANY reason at ANY time. For example, I purchased a pair of black rock star jeans that lost its elasticity. After wearing and washing it once, it became fat, balloon pants instead of skinny pants. Per their policy, I was able to swap this pair (even after washing and wearing it) for a brand spankin' new pair. This return policy was explained to me when I was chatting nonchalantly with the cashier about the chance I might grow to hate the pants I bought. It was a very informative and I took advantage. I came by here on a Sunday afternoon in December. Surprisingly, the parking lot still had plenty of room (it is rather large) and the store was fairly neat. I always get PJ pants for everyone for Christmas, and Old Navy definitely has the best selection, and they are usually on sale for $10. You can't beat that. Staff needs to be a little more visible - I was looking for a top on the model in the front of the store, but couldn't find anyone to help me. I will admit that a lot of the clothes (and the fit) is aimed for millennials, but I can usually find tops that I like at a great price. There is always a line for checkout at this store, and while I was there, even though they had three checkers, every one had a customer with a problem. I know that's not their fault, but they need to have a manager more readily accessible. read more

Wardrobe malfunction at work today, and Old Navy came to the rescue! Haven't stepped through the doors for about a year. I went in immediately after the doors opened, and it was still tidy from the night before. This makes a HUGE difference in any shopping experience. I have never been floored by ON quality, but their price points are great and their designer's are on par with the trends of the moment. Today I scored: 3 pairs of mesh thongs for $6.99 on sale 2 pairs of slacks, plaid and striped, very cute, lifts the boo-tay $32.50 each 1 pair of cropped slacks, nice detailing and great neutral colors $32.50 The rest of the items were standard ON basics, not top notch, but I have tank tops and shirts from here that I still wear to this day. They were purchased YEARS ago. The sale selection is awesome. Oh I found out today that there is no limit on the # of items you can bring into the dressing room! I really like this store and location! It has ample parking despite it being next to a lot of other businesses, its always tidy, and I always find what I need...plus more! I stopped in today to get some specific pants,I was able to find them plus some jeans which were all on Promo. The staff was really helpful and friendly. This location seems to have a lot of employees but with the large crowds, it always feels understaffed due to no one working in the dressing rooms and really long, slow moving check out lines. This Old Navy is pretty similar to others I have been to. The layouts look almost identical and they usually have the same options as far as styles and sizes. This store in particular is pretty well organized and the prices seem similar to other Old Navys from the times I've visited. One of the best things about it is it's very centrally located in a huge shopping center in Fremont. There are so many great stores around like Kohls, DSW, Sally's, Target, Costco. There's also good food choices around. I feel like it's the kind of place you could spend the majority of the day. Because of this, the huge parking lot sometimes gets filled, usually on weekends or Friday nights. On weekdays, there's tons of places to park. So it kind of depends when you are heading over there. It's also right off 880 which makes it easy to find and to head back home quickly. read more

This store had a lot of open space but not as much selection of clothes. Everything was just bleh there and it wasn't as nice as the other smaller Old Navy's I've seen before. It wasn't as organized either. Dressing room was horrible. I had to ask for a fitting room, but it was more like you grab what ever is free. It is a open dressing room so anyone can really just run inside the free rooms. The attendant knocked on my door 2-3 times within a 5 minute span. I used to shop here a lot a few years ago to buy clothes for my son when he was little. I remember this place having a projection light above the ceiling where the kid's clothes were at and my son would pretend to step on the images that gets shown on the floor. They even had an area where the little kids can sit and color but it's no longer here. I recently came back shopping here again when my favorite shoe store, DSW, moved right next door to them. DSW used to be around the corner from them and I never thought to stop by Old Navy but now that they are directly right next door to each other, I'm here as often as I'm at DSW which is about every couple of weeks. I actually just signed up for their rewards program, Bright Rewards, and have been racking up points which is pretty nice. This is still a popular store because the line to get to the cash register is always quite long. I've developed a system when I come into this store. As soon as we walk in, we peek in to see how long the checkout line is and if it's quite long which is almost all the time, I have my husband or my son stand in line while I shop around and then I switch off with them. This system doesn't work if I want the person standing in line for me to try on an article of clothing in the fitting room. The place is rather packed to the brim with a lot of clothes meaning more selection but it's not always easy to move around between the racks that are so close together. I feel like Old Navy has outgrown this place as there is just not enough room for all of their inventory. I can see now why they do not have room for the cute things they used to have in order to entertain the kids. I do like having choices but, sometimes there are just too many choices. It does get quite messy at this store and it doesn't seem like they have enough staff to help keep the place nice and neat but in all honestly, I don't think I would want the job of cleaning up after shoppers whose constantly messing up their display racks and stacks of shirts. It's like shoveling snow during a snow storm. They have a restroom way in the back corner but I never had to use it so I'm not sure the condition of it. I haven't really worked with their staff except for when I'm paying. In fact, I rarely see any employees out on the sales floor except for a couple who are usually by the fitting rooms with a pile of clothes that they are organizing. Some cashiers are nice and will chat and some just want to get you out of there. They do forget about the Bright Rewards so you have to constantly remind them that you have to enter your phone number. On the way to the check out, they have this huge display of impulse items on a child-size level. Boy, am I glad that this was not around when I used to shop for my little boy. It's easy to get bored while waiting in line and I catch myself doing what most people in line are doing which is touching every little cute things on the display aisle placed by the register. I do like Old Navy's prices and their clearance racks are awesome to get deals especially for out of season items. And around winter is when they seem to come alive with all kinds of wonderful mark downs on in-season items. I already got all kinds of presents at such affordable prices just a few days ago. I know I will keep shopping here, whenever, I stop by DSW and now that I'm back in the groove with them. read more

This is a disappointment for me since I shop at this store all the time. The customer service was horrible. I placed an online order for pick up yesterday at 5pm because I needed it before we leave out of town, plus they were gifts. I received a confirmation email saying my order should be ready within 2hrs and I should be receiving an email regarding pick up. Time passed and it hit the 2 hr. mark. I called the store to follow up on my order and the manager was not helpful at all. She said that they didn't receive my order and they have only received an order for toddlers clothes. I said I have my receipt and that can't be true. So this conversation wasn't going anywhere so I ended it. I received an email this morning at 7:11am and said that my order was ready for pick up. That's weird because the store does not open until 9:30am. I called this morning and thought the morning manager would be a little bit more helpful, I was seriously wrong. I shared with the manager what happen and asked since this was not my error, and we were on our way out of town already and if there was a way they can transfer my order to the Fresno location. She said straight out no and that I would have to purchase online and pick that location up. She also said that if they were short staff that would be another reason, again when I called last night to follow up on my order they said they didn't receive my order. So my thought is they by passed my order and then realized it was there. This is why I love going to the San Francisco Old Navy because the employees there are very helpful and have great customer service. I don't think I will be coming to this store for awhile until they teach their employees about customer service. read more

The most organized Old Navy ever, I swear! I hardly ever have to dig for anything here and I HATE digging for sizes... if I realize that I have to start digging for a size or it's taking me too long I will almost always just leave the store all together. That's how much I hate digging. Everything is clean and easy to find here. I love how everything that's hung up on the racks is pretty much in order and not all sticking out every which way. The tables are maintained well too which shows a lot of effort from the employees considering I'm sure they get a lot of customers that are notorious for picking, pulling, and not putting stuff back in anywhere remotely close to the vicinity they got it in. Price wise Old Navy rocks. I always come here on my lunch break to pick up some cheap shirts if I'm in need of some minor retail therapy from the day's stresses. The only thing I would watch out for shopping at Old Navy is that since the prices are so low you're bound to run into someone somewhere wearing the same thing you're wearing. I typically buy the things at Old Navy that I can layer with other things or wear to work that way I don't have any embarrassing "Hey, that's my shirt!" moments. The boys selection isn't as extensive as the girls section as Shannon T. mentioned in her review. I came here looking for a belt for my son and couldn't find anything!! Employees are pretty nice, had no troubles there. Definitely stop by next time you need a quick fix for tanks and flip flops. read more

Let me say this, I'm not big on leaving bad reviews but this store truly deserves it. First off management is poor and no help. What's the point of paying the guy if all he is doing is walking around like a chicken with no head. Second I know it's Black Friday and it can get a bit crazy but Dahm they should make it a priority to keep the line moving. I was in line for over 2 hours no lie. Lastly what really killed the two snarky rude cashiers ringing me up. Don't ask me if I found everything ok after a two hour wait in line and expect ME THE CUSTOMER to be all cheer and say everything was great. My only comment was the line was a bit too long and slow moving. Then for the cashier to give a dirty look and say "We'll what do you expect? It's Black Friday!!" We came here to look for some clothing after seeing an advertisement for some great buys for $5 each! When we got to the store, it was busy with people shopping for clothing items and there was a long line at the registers. It must be a good sign with all of the shoppers. Even though it was busy, we still got great service from the clerk when I asked about the price of a coat. She took the time to check the price and was pleasant about having to go to the front from the back of the store to check on the price. There was some disarranged items in the store but considering the amount of shoppers this was acceptable. In the end, we bought two shirts and two packs of socks for $5 each item. Wow, good to know I am not the only person who experienced rude customer service at this location. I went to make a return last night and the cashier who helped me was so rude through her non verbal communication. During the 2 min. transaction she did not say ONE WORD and also proceeded to toss my receipt around to show how annoyed she was that she had to do the return. I was astounded by this behavior and felt discriminated against. 2 customers she assisted with after me (but was not in line before me since there were no line at the time) she talked to and seemed to be fine with helping which made me even more disturbed since she couldn't speak ONE WORD apparently to me at all. This experience has really affected my opinion on this store and makes me reluctant to return ever again! read more

This is a combination review for Old Navy's return policy and supplies of baby clothes. I bought a ton of maternity clothes online and was not sure how big to get them. I bought a variety of sizes and styles of jeans and only kept the ones that fit well. I had no problems returning the ones I didn't want at the store. When I went in they had 40% off baby clothes and bought a little sweatsuit and tiny cap for newborns. How darling were these baby clothes!? Why not 5 stars? They have cute stuff on mannequins but I can't find the items in stock. Dude the mannequins' purpose is to entice you into buying. Why is it that you can't actually buy the stuff ? I would have. Every single time I come here I've experienced nothing but the BEST customer service. No matter if it's a slow week day or a busy weekend, the staff of this store are at the top of their customer servicing. Whether it's suggesting something I'd like (and I've found quite a few things I'd never otherwise have found!) or just doing a return, you can tell the staff here really love their job and they do a mighty fine job at it! There clothes are always a steal and rather good quality for the price. Perfect clothes for every day wear and a few of their items you could very easily dress up. What more can you ask of a store? Today I came in and couldn't find an item in my size and I asked if they had any more in the back room and a staff member actually told me she could search other stores and have them ship it to my house. Score! She had another staff member call a store to stock check my item and although the other store took a while to find the item, I didn't mind waiting because the associate helping me was so patient and gracious. The first store didn't have it and I didn't want to be a pain and ask him to search another store but he so kindly offered to do so and all with a smile on. A genuine one, at that too! The second store had what I was looking for and it was a really quick and simple process to have it shipped to my house. To have both staff members take the time to help me find what I was looking for, even though it was only one item and not a very expensive one either, they both were so pleasant about the whole thing. I work in retail too so I know excellent customer service when I see it and I couldn't have left the store any more satisfied. Im giving this 5 stars not really because of the store but because of one of the employees. First off ill start by saying that im not the biggest fan of old navy clothes but I LOVEE their jeans, super comfy super durable and pretty with a good amount of styles and sizes. I went there to get some jeans and when I came in the jeans on the wall had a 30% discount so I got 2 but everything was a big mess so I had to scavenge between the mess to find stuff I liked. I went to pay and it turns out that for my bad luck the jeans I liked where not really part of that wall with the 30% of but had been misplaced there along the mess. I was very disappointed and sad because I was pumped about getting these two pairs of jeans for cheaper and the super nice employee her name was Jaspareet ( i probably spelled it super wrong and I apologize lol) she was top notch and told me not to worry, she went and talked to her manager and the manager didnt seem to want to give me any discount because it wasn´t the item that had the discount but this girl talked to her and they ended up giving it to me anyway. She went off her way to get it for me and i highly appreciate people doing that, specially when its clearly a mistake from their store. Like Corinne R., I discovered this place 'cos it moved from Newpark to this new location. It's so much better than Newpark since it's more bright in the store (as opposed to it looking like a warehouse). Anyway, it's much cleaner & organized than a lot of the mall locations.. but it still has some of those messy areas Old Navy seems to have. What I like about Old Navy is their clearance rack. Sure, you have to dig, but you can find some good deals. I found the clearance rack to be really useful when it came to buying clothes for my little nephews. My nephews grow quick & are active so when they're over my house they can get messy.. & when Old Navy had a end of summer/mid fall clearance basket, my mom & I dug.. We found shirts, pants, onesies, track jackets -- all in good condition -- for $.99-7.99. The staff can be very helpful too. Once I couldn't find a top in my size and called in an order for me from the website & had it shipped free to my house! :) Besides that alternative, they can give you a list of stores to find whatever it is you're looking for. read more
