Small Dollar Tree near the Walmart in Osgood. Typical dollar store. but not like the other places, kind of organized, limited options. Sometimes struggled to locate many stuffs. Store looks clean otherwise. Staffs are really weird. They don't even care even if you stand at the checkout counter waiting for someone to come and help. never seen multiple counters operating here. Single register all the time. Except one lady, most of the staffs hardly even greet. Not my go-to place. Stops here only if I don't want to drive to the Stevenson location for an item or two. they got exclusive parking, no worries even that's full. plenty of parking around.

I almost did a double take when I noticed the Dollar Tree signage at the newly constructed building next to Walmart. It just seemed very odd - I thought Walmart was the retail king in that little corner of Osgood and Auto Mall Parkway. How could they allow a Dollar Tree to step into their hood? Which discount store will win the cheap crap battle? Only time will find out. Had a chance to check out the store recently - I'm guessing it has only been opened a few weeks. Decided to visit it quick before the crowds trample in and the new store smell is gone forever. First impressions walking in - clean, but one of the smaller Dollar Trees I've been to (the one on Stevenson is definitely bigger). I counted about 8 aisles. Customer flow was brisk - not a lot of people are probably aware that it's open or even exists. I did notice a number of people cutting through from Walmart to check it out. I'm sure it will get busier once more Walmart customers take notice and word starts to spread. They do offer a little bit of everything as most Dollar Trees offer - household items, car stuff, health & beauty, toys, cards, balloons, frozen/refrigerated food products, seasonal items, etc. I did notice that the seasonal area seemed small (compared to the Stevenson Dollar Tree or even the nearby 99 cent store). If I was shopping for seasonal products (Halloween, Christmas, etc), I would probably go to another store first for a larger selection. There were a few staff present - which I thought was OK since it wasn't super busy. Service was OK - the cashier greeted, but I felt it was very automated. Overall, it's an OK Dollar Tree. Good location, and I'm glad I now have the option of comparison shopping between here and Walmart. The downside is that it is a bit smaller, but perhaps Dollar Tree realized it will won't be a replacement for Walmart with customers, but it can be a store that can take some of the market share away.

The prompt wasn't clearly explained, and since I was in a rush I wasn't thinking too much about it and just answered honestly. I selected "no," and the cashier immediately gasped. I later realized the question was asking whether I had been greeted when entering the store. When I came in, no one greeted me. The cashier had simply said "next" when it was my turn at the register. It's possible she had just started her shift and the employee who had been near the door earlier had already left, so the greeting may not have been her responsibility. However, when I tried to clarify the misunderstanding, the cashier cut me off and loudly said, "THANK YOU, HAVE A NICE DAY," without looking at me. When I attempted to speak again, the same phrase was repeated even louder, which effectively ended the interaction. At first I actually felt bad about the situation, but after being cut off twice when I tried to speak and hearing the same phrase repeated at me in a rude way, that feeling quickly went away. I also think the store should reconsider how this survey question is set up. Asking customers to answer a question about their experience while the employee can see the response creates an awkward situation. I answered honestly, but because the cashier could see my answer, the interaction immediately became uncomfortable and left me leaving the store feeling unhappy. I understand these prompts are likely tied to store metrics, but the checkout question was confusing, and the response from the cashier made the experience worse.

They most likely used cheap material, which probably lasts only several months. Unfortunately, they break after. I remember that I got a screen protector for my phone for $5, and all it did was accumulated more dirt onto my screen. That's why you're better paying more for a better screen protector that last for years rather than a cheaper one which lasts for only few days or weeks. I suggest getting just posters, foods, and other non-electronic products though especially if you don't really care about aesthetics. They also sell clothes though. Most products aren't really made to be aesthetically appealing and long lasting ones, but some aren't really bad to get. Just be mindful with what you're getting.

Individuals kept wondering if the flea market will ever be back... And it did come back! EVERY 2nd/SECOND SATURDAY OF EVERY MONTH, March to November, 9am to 2pm And now FREE PARKING! It used to be $2 to park! I gave it the rating I did because/ 1. Since the re-opening, I never purchased a single thing 2. Vendors are all pretty much the same (and it's hilarious some of the faces are familiar and seen at estate sale hunts) 3. Love how they attempt a theme and have added old school cars to the mix! 4. The vendors are not the nicest... they don't budge and are not willing to negotiate (I mean that's the fun of flea markets!) 5. Kind of pricey. Pretty much all antique and used items. A couple of vendors sell new but very "made in China" items 6. Products are often repeated aka the same 7. It's not huge... you could probably walk the entire thing in less than 30 minutes Would I come back? I just love estate sales, rummage sales, flea markets, etc. It's great to walk around especially when you don't have the mindset of "must have to buy"

For summer break we decided to start the day here and find lunch close by. It was much larger and busier than it was in Winter. The great thing is free parking and free admission, the walk from parking to the fleamarket is very close. If you want to sell here the pricing per spot is low and you can pull in easily with your car. I believe each spot is $20 and this fleamarket happens the 2nd Saturday of every month. They do a good job of attracting vendors with that sell newer items in bulk, more classic garage style bring your old junk, plants, antiques, and some food trucks. The coolest thing we did was probably the train ride that goes through the fleamarket and car show. The car show area did smell like something peope like to smoke though :) It does get hot later in the day in Summer so best to come early. We ended up leaving with some nice snacks and old books for the kids.

Adj: impressive and interesting store…read more Fremont GO on Stevenson, we've driven passed this store several times without stopping and finally decided we have to check this place out before we headed home while we were in this area for a short trip. We love going to different GO's to see what snacks and unique items they have. There's definitely different items that get shipped to stores in various areas. On this occasion I saw a lot of spring items, to include Easter decor, spring flowers, plants, tools. This store has a lot of great food items besides the usual necessities. Their ice cream shelves were quite stocked and had a lot more brands and choices than I've seen at other stores. They had a pretty big health & beauty plus supplements & vitamins area too, several rows worth of all that. The NOSH section was big too, with a lot of variety for "healthy" snacks and sweets, like chips and treats. Overall, I was impressed by this sheer size of this store which used to be a supermarket and is more split about 2/3 this GO and 1/3 of the whole store area is now a Dollar Tree next door. We'll definitely plan to be back next time we're in the area.

I was thinking of going into other grocery stores to get something but never thought that this exists near the cafe. Also, it's been commercialized since I've been their ads. The items are very limiting since the store is relatively small. You'll find many common items but won't find their specific ones. For example, you can find Dr.Pepper but not the diet soda cream version of it. You'll have to go to another grocery store for that. Also, you won't find many varieties of certain brands here compared to most grocery stores. Another issue is that they didn't label some products with price tags. That's something that they'll have to work on, but expect that prices here are cheaper than non-discount stores. It's not really something to worry about. The good news is that the products are much cheaper here than ones from other grocery stores. That's why there were so many parked cars whenever I come to its shopping center. If you don't really care much about brands and varieties, I highly recommend shopping in this grocery store. If you do, then you might want to go to another grocery store.
