Was here yesterday trying to return an item I purchased online. I ordered 2 Kuromi t-shirts in XL thinking they were kids size but nope, they're for adults so I tried to go exchange at the store. Website showing 5 in stock (but they weren't). I then asked if I can just return the items, but customer service (Indian/middle eastern) lady refused to accept my return stating she couldn't do it without a barcode and I didn't have one since it was purchased online. I showed her the receipt and website where it states that they will accept any returns with original receipt or online order confirmation. Not at this specific store apparently, so I emailed corporate and they confirmed that returns are accepted at ALL stores. Well, that was a waste of my time, so upset I drove my lazy ass there on a Monday morning for nothing. ***UPDATE*** Corporate issued a refund and I didn't have to return the shirts, will be donating to goodwill. Still giving this store 1 star for not honoring their policy.

Interesting and fun shop there were a few things I was hoping to find and didn't, think merchandise changes frequently but good prices and nice clean shop. Registers at this one are all self scanners but there's someone up front if you need assistance

Great new addition to the Pacific Commons area. It's located on the same side as Kohl's and Burlington Coat Factory. As you can guess, everything is $5 or less. While they have a variety of sporting/fitness, tech, pet, makeup and personal care items, their larger sections are the toy and candy sections. Lots of squishmallows, stocking stuffer type of toys, craft kits, anime, and other fun things kids would love. They also have books, posters and art supplies for sale, as well as a holiday section with Christmas decor. There's a small section for home decor in the back, wish it were bigger. Found lots of cool things here and I'll be back for sure. I almost forgot to mention but they also sell Mylar balloons and regular balloons for birthdays and other celebrations, along with party supplies. It looks like you can purchase them and they will fill the balloons with helium for you. Prices range from $1-5 I believe per Mylar balloon. By the way, in addition to the usual credit/debit payment options, they also take Venmo and PayPal. Update: Visited this store on a Friday, Sunday and Wednesday (yes three times in a week...what can I say, my kids love this place) and I noticed the inventory was slightly different each time. Things that were there Sunday were gone and replaced by different merch when we went back. So if you see something you like, get it because it might not be there next time. Inventory is always changing which keeps it interesting and will keep us coming back for sure.

This isn't the only thing I want to talk about. I heard that they're making big changes here. I saw that they closed their Starbucks as well as other sections from the store with white curtains or something. They moved some of the refrigerators to do the renovations I think. Also, some parts of the areas were quite empty. I wonder what the big changes are but I don't think much is really going to change anyways. I think they should start stocking up electronics and their accessories again, but I don't think that will happen. Target has really changed. Back then, there were many electronics. Now, it's nearly empty probably because most people shop online nowadays.

The outdoor mall is fairly modern, and the area feels safe. A summer concert series occurs on 4th fridays of the month at The Block Plaza near Koja Kitchen, which was convenient this past weekend cuz I grabbed dinner at Koja Kitchen and was able to enjoy the live music while dining. A few doors down, I picked up a yummy chocolate chip cookie from Crumbl too. However if coming here for the live entertainment, the location's not the best. It gets crowded cuz it's just a small space, with concrete surface, and you gotta bring your own lawn chairs if you want seating. There was a tiny dance floor in front of the stage too, but really nothing inviting about the setup. That said, The Cheeseballs put on a fun show for the crowd, with the band performing funk, soul, and rnb tunes. They played various hits including Whitney Houston's I Wanna Dance With Somebody, Hips Don't Lie by Shakira, You Make My Dreams Come True by Daryl Hall and John Oates, and Chappell Roan's Pink Pony Club mashed up with Katy Perry's Firework. Also, parking and traffic is never really an issue for me in this shopping center except near Costco and In-N-Out.

It shares a huge lot with some popular eateries so it may be challenging to get a spot but if you're willing to walk a bit, check the backside of the mall and you may find some good shaded spots under some trees. This shop is huge and has plenty of new and old inventory ready to be sold at discounted prices. There's a lot to go through but if there's something specific, check out the section of the store that best fits that item. They have clothing, furniture, jewelry, electronics, bathroom essentials, kitchenware, as well as goodies for children and pets. I came here specifically in search of an espresso machine - I've been hoping to find something for a long time now. After perusing the other departments, I headed toward the registers and found what I was looking for! $150 off the list price was quite a bargain in my opinion and was exactly what I was looking for. The high end appliances and items seem to be locked up with magnetic anti-theft devices and this machine was no exception. Happy with my find, I headed through the snaking line toward the registers, which are abundant and managed by staff at the ready to complete the transaction. The staff were friendly, efficient, and not at all too pushy with selling their promotional store credit card which would have yielded more savings on this purchase. The transaction was quick and seamless. With the purchase also refundable, it made it just that much more reassuring to have shopped here. Overall, HomeGoods/TJ Maxx is quite a staple as a bargain store for many communities and this one is no different. The items for purchase is abundant, in good quality, and unique for those looking for some additional accent to add to their living space. Most of the staff are found near the registers with a few occasionally walking through the corridors to restock or organize a bit. It's comfortable shopping here with well ventilated air and sectioned off departments for more intentional buying. They also have a bathroom for patrons to use. For those also looking for home appliances like me, this is a great place to start - one of the few reasons to still shop at brick and mortar shops!

The empty box is just a cardboard box with my boyfriend's favorite character printed on the side. She can clearly monitor me from her station in the front of the self checkout registers. I'm not sure why she would move to be that close to me unless she's assuming I wouldn't scan everything. After checking out at the self checkout I asked the lady monitoring the self checkout if I could take the empty box. She said it was fine and I put my items inside. A guy stopped me before leaving the store and said customers aren't allowed to take the displays. I assume the guy was a worker even though he didn't have a name tag or company dress code on. He was just chatting with the security girl in the front before I was leaving the store so it could be a friend of the security guard.
