Initially, I had a good experience at Rashi's and was excited about my purchase, but unfortunately the experience became very disappointing afterward.I paid additional money for alterations and never received any communication that they were completed. When I texted asking about the status, I was told they were ready for pickup and that I could come in for a trial fitting. However, when I arrived, it became clear that the tops had not been altered at all, despite me paying for those alterations. My order had either been forgotten or not properly tracked. The pants were also very poorly hemmed. When I initially pointed it out, my concerns were dismissed and I was repeatedly told everything looked "fine" and "that's how they're suppose look".After looking more closely, the hemming was clearly uneven and poorly done which even she couldn't deny. On top of that, one of the pants had a stain, and the tops were leaving cuts and rashes on my arms due to the stitching/material. Given the amount I spent overall, I was very disappointed by both the quality of the alterations and how my concerns were handled afterward. Overall, I found the experience extremely disappointing given the amount high reviews she has. I would personally avoid this business. The pricing was very high for the quality provided, and I did not feel there was much accountability or customer care when serious issues with the outfit and alterations were raised. read more

Had a really good experience at Rashi's Collection. She made the effort to show me a vast collection and helped me choose the right saree blouse, a very pretty gold embroidered one for a friend's wedding. Beautiful collection at reasonable prices, and the fit came out perfect after a minor alteration. Rashi is very personable and caring, and I highly recommend her. read more

I found this gem in Rashi's selection of lenghas. It's a solid and beautiful piece at a reasonable price. Selection for sizes 42+ was unfortunately a bit more limited, so I would have liked to see more options for sizes. Overall if you're in the area and looking for event clothing, you should check out Rashi. Make sure to book an appointment with her via phone call prior to showing up. Also note that in order to physically try on any of the pieces she will need and request from you a purchase commitment. So it's a little different than some of the other boutiques but good to keep in mind when you're looking at the different options offered. You are allowed to however, have the clothing draped on you for an initial visual. read more

Incredible collection and superb customer service by Rashi! I am going to a wedding in one week and my friend referred me to Rashi. I called around 5 to let her know I was coming and she checked in around 5:45 and was very professional on the phone. I've never been to an Indian wedding nor did I have any idea of what I wanted so Rashi was very helpful when I gave her my budget, general color schemes, and the location/season of the event. I'm typically very indecisive and Rashi didn't show me more than necessary as she had a very good eye for what would work best with my complexion and body type. I ended up leaving very happy, within an hour, and on budget for my lehenga. The top required alterations which she promised will be ready by Monday which is in only 3 days. All-in-all, Rashi was very professional while also making me feel very comfortable and beautiful. read more

Rashi is so kind and helpful! I found the perfect outfits here. She was able to tailor day of!

Rashi fit me us ULTRA last minute. This lady rushed from a party so that she could accommodate us. That's dedication. She was able to style both my boyfriend and I. The woman has a great eye for color. She took her time getting the both of us fitted and accessorizing my outfits. She does her best to stay within budget and is very transparent if the type of outfit you want is outside of your price range. My skirts needed to be altered and she was able to have that done in less than 24 hours. (She and I were leaving out of town in the next few days). We were shopping around in Fremont before we went to her. One show room was extremely out of my budget and the sales associate didn't even try to help me pick out lahengas that would fit me or suit my style. We are very very grateful to Rashi for helping us out. She will not disappoint ! read more

She was very helpful and I was very happy with the outfits that I picked. She also does alterations if needed. I also like that she helped with finding accessories that matched the outfits that I picked. She is very easy to talk to and she's quite detail oriented, so she makes sure the outfit works out well for you. Rashi is so super sweet! I stumbled upon this business through Yelp and had to stop in because of her stellar reviews. She definitely lived up to the hype! I came in completely flustered with just a day to plan what to wear for an impromptu Sikh wedding I was attending. Rashi helped me find the perfect outfit in the colors I was hoping to find. Of course nothing fit me given that I'm only 4ft 10 but Rashi quickly coordinated with her seamstress and we were able to pull this outfit together before my departure the following morning. Superb service during a major time crunch. It took a bit of team work but we got it all pulled together. The bride and groom definitely appreciated their non-Indian guest decked out in traditional clothing for their special day. Thanks so much Rashi! read more

Rashi is so incredible and helped me through a big lehenga crisis for wedding! I custom ordered my outfit from India and the blouse sizing ended up being off and too small for my frame. After calling many different seamstresses in the Bay Area who said they couldn't help me, Rashi did!! She let me come to her studio late after work so I didn't have to sit in traffic and re-stitched the blouse for me so that it fits perfectly. She also showed me how to properly wear the top and had jewelry for me to pick from that goes perfectly with the whole outfit. She also helped my friend find jewelry for her outfit as well. Her prices are amazing, her work is impeccable, and on top of that she is such a lovely knowledgable person! Cannot recommend Rashi's Collection enough!!! read more

I don't like writing bad reviews but this needs to be written down. I went to this place to buy a blouse, that costs $40, after adding taxes and alteration charges the total came out to be $66. I refused to buy and walked out. This lady kept texting me and droped the price to $55. I didn't want to buy as it was still pricey but had no other option, I wanted a blouse for a party the next day. She got my blouse ready the next day, but the blouse I got was a real piece of shit! I have attached pictures for everyone's reference. It was misaligned, had ugly looking threads all over, in short it looks shabby. After sharing this feedback with Rashi, she was trying to justify this shabbiness by saying every maker has their own way of putting and designing their stuff. She tried her best to ignore the poor quality, she didn't acknowledge it at all. And was showing me an attitude that I am not valuing her hard work that she worked on my order late at night. Some highlights: 1. Charging taxes from customers through personal transactions - she prefers cash, and even asked me 'why didn't you bring cash'. Her second (and most likely only other) preference was Apple Pay. If she's charging all the taxes from her customers then why not taking credit card payments? Why is she not giving proper receipts? 2. Only money minded - she understood I won't buy the blouse after I walked out from her place, but she still texted me late at night and offered $55. When I said ok to her offer, she sent me Request via Apple Pay right away without even discussing the logistics (yes, she didn't took my measurements) 2. Very very poor quality and expensive stuff- she needs to deliver some quality stuff. her stuff is expensive, but she's not even justifying the price with some quality. 3. Return/refund policy - she doesn't have any return policy, it's all according to her. If she is asking for her piece back, she wants it Right away! Madam, People are not free who will drive to your place first to pick and then drive back to return the stuff. She is not even considerate, she gave me a time window of 2 hours to return the blouse. I had office till 4pm, but she still wanted me to come back by 2:20 to get a refund. She refused to pay a penny after 2:20pm. Such a bad attitude. My husband had to leave his meeting and had to go to return this blouse to her place. 4. Zero customer service and bad attitude and clothes in short! PLEASE do NOT go to this place if you expect some good service. read more

Attending my first Indian wedding of a good friend's daughter. I didn't plan properly with all my work travel. With less than a days notice, I found Rashi on Yelp. The yelp reviews were helpful, but the real experience is how friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating Rashi was. She helped me with colors and different styles, jewelry and even did the pinning for me. Not to mention she did the alterations same day. Price seem reasonable, especially with the time frame. Very pleased and would highly recommend her business and service. Thank you Rashi, sincerely! read more

We were recently invited to a Formal Indian Wedding for the son of good friends. While honored and excited, we were also feeling intimidated as the invitations included dress codes for each event. We had no idea what Indian Festive and Indian Formal Attire meant. Thank goodness for Rashi! We found Rashi's Collections online - she has very high Google and Yelp Rating and excellent reviews, so we made an appointment. Rashi is friendly and inviting, she spent quite a bit of time educating us on the history and cultural aspects of an Indian Wedding. She used this time to gain a feeling of our personality and help pick the perfect outfits for us. Through the entire process, Rashi was patient, yet provided excellent direction and advice. The overall experience was absolutely wonderful, and we are highly confident our outfits will honor our friends and this festive celebration. read more

She is very patient with kids. I took my daughters for Diwali shopping and she Pai's special attention to them.

My partner and I were going to attend a friend's wedding, where one night was a Mehndi Night, and we thus needed clothes for the occasion. We discovered Rashi's through a quick search, and dropped by Fremont to visit. Rashi was incredibly cordial and friendly from start to finish. We had to call before we entered, so that she could let us know when she was done with previous clients, but once we did, she gave us personalized attention. My partner facetiously asked if she had anything in a rose-gold color, but Rashi was able to deliver! Our body types also have quirks: I have thicker thighs and my partner has thicker calves. Rashi was still able to find something that would work for both of us. (We eventually went to a tailor to get the leg lengths adjusted, but the pant color worked great for the ensemble.) We ended up going home with rose-gold and dark blue sherwanis, which received much praise during the actual ceremony. I highly recommend her for your Indian wedding clothing needs! read more

We went to buy a party wear (Lahenga) in the last weekend for my daughter who is 13 yrs old. Rashi showed a couple of dresses and let her try them. We loved one of them, which costed $95. It was gorgeous and modern looking lahenga. There was a little alteration needed to make the top fit well on her body and Rashi offered to do that for an additional charge of $15. When we came back home my daughter remembered that something else was also needed to be altered. I texted her about it. She agreed to do it. We picked up the altered dress in the next weekend and she didn't charge extra for the additional alteration work. It fit her well. We also bought an accessory light weight necklace from her to match with the dress. We are happy with her service. read more

Due to bad planning on my part, I needed a kurta in 4 days. I called Rashi Monday for a wedding on Friday. I drove the same day from SF to Fremont. I was surprised at how quickly she was able to find the specific color and style of kurta I needed and it looked great! I paid about $300 for the kurta, pajamas, vest, and shoes. My girlfriend also came along and she was able to help her quickly find some tops with alterations done within two hours! Wow! read more

This was a last minute dash to get something nice to wear to a wedding tomorrow morning and a quick internet search directed me to Rashi's place. I was very pleasantly surprised to see the extraordinary collection of kurtas and formal Indian wear that she has at her store. I called her with hardly 15 minutes left to close and reached her store with 5 minutes left. Although she had plans for the evening she stayed back and listened patiently and got us the right kurta to wear at a very reasonable price. Very nice and patient lady who goes out of her way to make sure that no customer leaves her store disappointed. And great quality. I will certainly recommend her store to anyone who ever asks me. read more
