I am going to a wedding in one week and my friend referred me to Rashi. I called around 5 to let her know I was coming and she checked in around 5:45 and was very professional on the phone. My skirts needed to be altered and she was able to have that done in less than 24 hours. (She and I were leaving out of town in the next few days). Rashi is so incredible and helped me through a big lehenga crisis for wedding! I custom ordered my outfit from India and the blouse sizing ended up being off and too small for my frame. After calling many different seamstresses in the Bay Area who said they couldn't help me, Rashi did!! She let me come to her studio late after work so I didn't have to sit in traffic and re-stitched the blouse for me so that it fits perfectly. She also showed me how to properly wear the top and had jewelry for me to pick from that goes perfectly with the whole outfit. She also helped my friend find jewelry for her outfit as well. I don't like writing bad reviews but this needs to be written down. I went to this place to buy a blouse, that costs $40, after adding taxes and alteration charges the total came out to be $66. I refused to buy and walked out. This lady kept texting me and droped the price to $55. I didn't want to buy as it was still pricey but had no other option, I wanted a blouse for a party the next day. She got my blouse ready the next day, but the blouse I got was a real piece of shit! I have attached pictures for everyone's reference. It was misaligned, had ugly looking threads all over, in short it looks shabby. After sharing this feedback with Rashi, she was trying to justify this shabbiness by saying every maker has their own way of putting and designing their stuff. She tried her best to ignore the poor quality, she didn't acknowledge it at all. And was showing me an attitude that I am not valuing her hard work that she worked on my order late at night. Some highlights: 1. Charging taxes from customers through personal transactions - she prefers cash, and even asked me 'why didn't you bring cash'. Her second (and most likely only other) preference was Apple Pay. If she's charging all the taxes from her customers then why not taking credit card payments? Why is she not giving proper receipts? 2. Only money minded - she understood I won't buy the blouse after I walked out from her place, but she still texted me late at night and offered $55. When I said ok to her offer, she sent me Request via Apple Pay right away without even discussing the logistics (yes, she didn't took my measurements) 2. Very very poor quality and expensive stuff- she needs to deliver some quality stuff. her stuff is expensive, but she's not even justifying the price with some quality. 3. Return/refund policy - she doesn't have any return policy, it's all according to her. If she is asking for her piece back, she wants it Right away! Madam, People are not free who will drive to your place first to pick and then drive back to return the stuff. She is not even considerate, she gave me a time window of 2 hours to return the blouse. I had office till 4pm, but she still wanted me to come back by 2:20 to get a refund. She refused to pay a penny after 2:20pm. Such a bad attitude. My husband had to leave his meeting and had to go to return this blouse to her place. 4. Zero customer service and bad attitude and clothes in short! PLEASE do NOT go to this place if you expect some good service. read more

My partner and I were going to attend a friend's wedding, where one night was a Mehndi Night, and we thus needed clothes for the occasion. We discovered Rashi's through a quick search, and dropped by Fremont to visit. Rashi was incredibly cordial and friendly from start to finish. We had to call before we entered, so that she could let us know when she was done with previous clients, but once we did, she gave us personalized attention. My partner facetiously asked if she had anything in a rose-gold color, but Rashi was able to deliver! Our body types also have quirks: I have thicker thighs and my partner has thicker calves. Rashi was still able to find something that would work for both of us. (We eventually went to a tailor to get the leg lengths adjusted, but the pant color worked great for the ensemble.) We ended up going home with rose-gold and dark blue sherwanis, which received much praise during the actual ceremony. I highly recommend her for your Indian wedding clothing needs! read more

We went to buy a party wear (Lahenga) in the last weekend for my daughter who is 13 yrs old. Rashi showed a couple of dresses and let her try them. We loved one of them, which costed $95. It was gorgeous and modern looking lahenga. There was a little alteration needed to make the top fit well on her body and Rashi offered to do that for an additional charge of $15. When we came back home my daughter remembered that something else was also needed to be altered. I texted her about it. She agreed to do it. We picked up the altered dress in the next weekend and she didn't charge extra for the additional alteration work. It fit her well. We also bought an accessory light weight necklace from her to match with the dress. We are happy with her service. read more

Although she had plans for the evening she stayed back and listened patiently and got us the right kurta to wear at a very reasonable price.
