Initially, I had a good experience at Rashi's and was excited about my purchase, but unfortunately the experience became very disappointing afterward.I paid additional money for alterations and never received any communication that they were completed. When I texted asking about the status, I was told they were ready for pickup and that I could come in for a trial fitting. However, when I arrived, it became clear that the tops had not been altered at all, despite me paying for those alterations. My order had either been forgotten or not properly tracked. The pants were also very poorly hemmed. When I initially pointed it out, my concerns were dismissed and I was repeatedly told everything looked "fine" and "that's how they're suppose look".After looking more closely, the hemming was clearly uneven and poorly done which even she couldn't deny. On top of that, one of the pants had a stain, and the tops were leaving cuts and rashes on my arms due to the stitching/material. Given the amount I spent overall, I was very disappointed by both the quality of the alterations and how my concerns were handled afterward. Overall, I found the experience extremely disappointing given the amount high reviews she has. I would personally avoid this business. The pricing was very high for the quality provided, and I did not feel there was much accountability or customer care when serious issues with the outfit and alterations were raised. read more

I found this gem in Rashi's selection of lenghas. It's a solid and beautiful piece at a reasonable price. Selection for sizes 42+ was unfortunately a bit more limited, so I would have liked to see more options for sizes. Overall if you're in the area and looking for event clothing, you should check out Rashi. Make sure to book an appointment with her via phone call prior to showing up. Also note that in order to physically try on any of the pieces she will need and request from you a purchase commitment. So it's a little different than some of the other boutiques but good to keep in mind when you're looking at the different options offered. After calling many different seamstresses in the Bay Area who said they couldn't help me, Rashi did!! I don't like writing bad reviews but this needs to be written down. I went to this place to buy a blouse, that costs $40, after adding taxes and alteration charges the total came out to be $66. I refused to buy and walked out. This lady kept texting me and droped the price to $55. I didn't want to buy as it was still pricey but had no other option, I wanted a blouse for a party the next day. She got my blouse ready the next day, but the blouse I got was a real piece of shit! I have attached pictures for everyone's reference. It was misaligned, had ugly looking threads all over, in short it looks shabby. After sharing this feedback with Rashi, she was trying to justify this shabbiness by saying every maker has their own way of putting and designing their stuff. She tried her best to ignore the poor quality, she didn't acknowledge it at all. And was showing me an attitude that I am not valuing her hard work that she worked on my order late at night. Some highlights: 1. Charging taxes from customers through personal transactions - she prefers cash, and even asked me 'why didn't you bring cash'. Her second (and most likely only other) preference was Apple Pay. If she's charging all the taxes from her customers then why not taking credit card payments? Why is she not giving proper receipts? 2. Only money minded - she understood I won't buy the blouse after I walked out from her place, but she still texted me late at night and offered $55. When I said ok to her offer, she sent me Request via Apple Pay right away without even discussing the logistics (yes, she didn't took my measurements) 2. Very very poor quality and expensive stuff- she needs to deliver some quality stuff. her stuff is expensive, but she's not even justifying the price with some quality. 3. Return/refund policy - she doesn't have any return policy, it's all according to her. If she is asking for her piece back, she wants it Right away! Madam, People are not free who will drive to your place first to pick and then drive back to return the stuff. She is not even considerate, she gave me a time window of 2 hours to return the blouse. I had office till 4pm, but she still wanted me to come back by 2:20 to get a refund. She refused to pay a penny after 2:20pm. Such a bad attitude. My husband had to leave his meeting and had to go to return this blouse to her place. 4. Zero customer service and bad attitude and clothes in short! PLEASE do NOT go to this place if you expect some good service. read more

My partner and I were going to attend a friend's wedding, where one night was a Mehndi Night, and we thus needed clothes for the occasion. We discovered Rashi's through a quick search, and dropped by Fremont to visit. Rashi was incredibly cordial and friendly from start to finish. We had to call before we entered, so that she could let us know when she was done with previous clients, but once we did, she gave us personalized attention. My partner facetiously asked if she had anything in a rose-gold color, but Rashi was able to deliver! Our body types also have quirks: I have thicker thighs and my partner has thicker calves. Rashi was still able to find something that would work for both of us. (We eventually went to a tailor to get the leg lengths adjusted, but the pant color worked great for the ensemble.) We went to buy a party wear (Lahenga) in the last weekend for my daughter who is 13 yrs old. Rashi showed a couple of dresses and let her try them. We loved one of them, which costed $95. It was gorgeous and modern looking lahenga. There was a little alteration needed to make the top fit well on her body and Rashi offered to do that for an additional charge of $15. When we came back home my daughter remembered that something else was also needed to be altered. I texted her about it. She agreed to do it. We picked up the altered dress in the next weekend and she didn't charge extra for the additional alteration work. It fit her well. We also bought an accessory light weight necklace from her to match with the dress. We are happy with her service. read more
