I wanted to transfer my husband from Verizon over to my plan, but the process online was a bit convoluted. It was letting me check out and add a new line but I was worried that it would generate a new phone number instead of transferring his over. The deals online are slightly better than what you can get in a store (strangely enough it was offering an extra $200 credit that we couldn't get through the store). However, the headache saved, we just wanted to get it done and over with. George was so incredibly pleasant and helped us with all of our questions and also getting his phone transferred over and upgraded through the trade in offer. He was patient and got everything we wanted done. The only unfortunate part is that they didn't have a stock of all iPhone colors of the newest model which was strange since it's already 2 months post launch. Regardless, we're so happy with the service and if there are any Mandarin or Cantonese speakers, they're fluent and would be able to assist that demographic as well. read more

Brought my son in on 12/22 to have his Iphone upgraded to the latest Iphone Pro Max via a trade-in offer. Quickly greeted by Manager Kevin. He was the only one working that morning. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. He assisted my son with the options, put on the screen protector and started the data transfer for us. Though he was also helping other customers, he kept checking on us regularly. Excellent Customer Service and I highly recommend this location and look for Kevin. I've been a long time AT&T customer and I used to go to the Fremont Blvd location (Fremont Hub). They are always crowded with a waiting queue and customer service was hit or miss depending who helped you there. read more

My initial experience was okay with a gentleman that helped me upgrade my phones a couple of weeks ago (I forget his name, Shamar maybe), but my visit today was concerning. Immediately after I walked into the store around 4:20pm, this guy Kevin tells me he's closing the store because he's by himself and needs to go help a lady do something, basically kicking me out. Mind you, the store doesn't close until 7pm. He didn't even give a time that he would return. He just said you can go down the street to another store. What kind of amateur, unprofessional operation is this? I came to address my bill that is way higher than they said it would be, but I guess that will have to wait until Kevin or whomever decides they want to work. Unfortunately, the store's positive ratings needs to come on down to better reflect what's happening. read more

I wasted over $500 on a new smartphone and received no promotion or discount to replace an obsoleted "3G phone". The other option was to accept a "free" replacement junk phone for a ludicrous rip-off. My "3G phone" is still fully functional and now rendered useless by AT&T, which never informed me that my phone would be disabled! AT&T is a cold profit-hungry corporation. read more

I often go to stores to purchase items and when you don't go to buy a phone they tend to just point at a wall and not address any questions. Andrew walked me over to the accessories area and asked what I was looking for and found the accessories that I needed to fit my every day needs. I was really impressed by staff here even though they were short staffed the young man was calm, informative, helpful and professional. Also, the young girl he was orientating helped me review my cell phone after the end of purchase. I was really impressed by how they handle pressure with not enough staff. I was in Union City AT&T and they had enough staff but not friendly and informative like these two salespeople in Osgood. They practiced social distancing and wearing masks. This AT&T store provides the best, most courteous service in the area. Go here and save yourself some stress! I had gone to the AT&T store on Fremont/Mowry to get a new screen protector as mine had cracked. The manager had been shockingly unprofessional and rude. I decided I wasn't going to take that abuse, let alone spend any money with them, so I walked out and searched around. I saw that this store was highly rated, in fact the highest rated in the area, so I came here instead. The high rating is so well deserved. I spoke with the manager, Andrew, and he got me set up quickly and explained the different options and what to do if I had any issues with the screen protector in the future and needed a replacement. He was very professional and knowledgeable, and it was clear this store really values its customers, and has employees who like their job and who take pride in providing a positive experience. There is definitely a reason why this store has such a higher rating than all the other AT&T stores around--rather than treating customers like they are putting them out for having to do their jobs, this store actually cares about their quality of service and reputation, and treats people respectfully. This is my new go to AT&T store. Don't go anywhere else. Come here if you are looking for honest, professional service and knowledgeable people happy to answer your questions and figure out what's right for you. No BS, no attitude, who needs that stress? Not the greatest experience, I was told there wouldn't be a wait, and ended up waiting quite a while. Was helped first with Andrew, the manager, while I was waiting for an update, he went on lunch and I was helped by Rudy- 4 stars for him :). Honestly would have preferred to be helped by Rudy but for some reason, Andrew helped out the rest- I would rate 1star for the experience with Andrew: Just the way Andrew was talking to me just felt like he didn't want to be there, kept complaining about his sleep, sighing and spoke agitatedly to not only me but customers before me- possibly having a bad day, and I felt a bad for him :( but it got annoying when he would ask me questions and recorrect me. After purchasing a whole new line and phone: I called back and wanted to switch the phone, and Andrew started arguing/mansplaining from his side. Didn't need to waste anymore time there lol so I went to the Fremont Hub location :) sooo much better! Also... paid and didn't mind the charge to re-shelf the phone. I had just about had it with AT&T. With everything going on in the world I try to utilize their online service. With every attempt leaving me frustrated more and more. No one could explain why my account settings would reset the next day. Why does it have to be so hard to merge my fiancé's account with mine. I really have to give it to Andrew for being so patient with me as much as I was patient with him and he made sure that at the end of the day though it took several hours and the store had closed that I got my new phone, Merged my fiancé's account, And set up my auto pay system. Tho we ran into some system errors, Daniel The Manager showing up at the last minute after store hours (had to work a different location that day and was already on his way home) was really the icing on the cake. It took another 30 or 45 minutes to finish everything, but it was that we were able to finish everything that made my day. This store is completely understaffed all the time. Awful customer service! Waited 1 hour to just activate a new phone when there was only 1 other person in the store. Usually you wait that long and there are 20 other people ahead of you. Ive never see an at&t store have one employee working on a Saturday!? That's just not right. The employee working barley asked what I needed. So I'm not even sure if I can get help? Go to any other location in Fremont. I've never waited this long ever. Again there is 1 other person in the store with me. Not one person in line. Usually an employee will at least acknowledge you and your wait time. read more

I was looking to upgrade my phone and saw this place had great reviews. I decided to give it a try. I walked in and was immediately greeted. So far so good. After discussing why I came in and talking to the sales associate, the experience was pleasant. From some reason, the store manager took over. I was puzzled but I thought nothing of it. The store manager looked over my account and started asking me about my internet service. I told him I'm satisfied with my service and was not interested in switching. The store manager started getting agitated when I wanted to talk about upgrading my phone instead of switching my Internet service. I was completely baffled and not sure why he had an attitude. Never the less, I went elsewhere and got a new phone. I am not sure why this store has such high rating. You might be better off going somewhere else. read more

This store has the worst customer service. The employees are rude and very unprofessional. They don't care about their customers. I bought an IPhone from this store. It didn't work so I went to return it. The ATT employee tried to help me solve it but she couldn't figure it out. Then, she told me that she didn't have the certification to help me return it. She was standing in for someone.This was after a good 30 minutes of her trying to help me without mentioning to this to me. She told me the manager would be back the next day. Next day, I came back and again the ATT person tried to help me but she couldn't fix it. She couldn't do anything without the manager. She told us he would be back in a week. We return the following week.The manager was rude and he told us we could only exchange ( which was not case previously) the phone because the system was down. This was after he helped us for 10 minutes he decided to mentioned this to us. He told us it would take 45 minutes. He finally helped us after we said we could lodge a complaint to corporate. I would never go this store unless you want to waste your time. This is the worst customer service I have ever had. read more
