He took the patients to listen and the time to fix the phone.. this man should be a manager, his professionalism, and how polite and comfortable he made us feel through this frustrating process that we had already been through. Felix Aguilar retail sales. Everyone should request him.. He's the best of the best of Xfinity.. what a great representative for this company. I can't even explain to you how frustrated and angry we were of the issues that could not be corrected.. he fixed everything this man deserves a definite raise or promotion. Visited the Xfinity store in Union City to pick up a self-install modem. This appears to be a…read moreflagship location in the only major shopping center in the area, so a busy Saturday night is not surprising. What was surprising was that only three associates were working while the store was packed. I was told that even simple self-install modem pickups go through the same queue as full-service transactions. That meant a long, awkward wait just to grab a pre-ordered box. To be clear, the employees were apologetic and professional. They were doing the best they could with what they had. This is not a frontline issue. However, from someone with 15 years of retail telecom experience (including time with AT&T), this is a staffing and workflow failure. Peak retail nights in high-traffic flagship locations require proper coverage and throughput planning. An express pickup system or adequate staffing would dramatically improve customer experience. I genuinely hope the regional director reviews store performance and addresses this. On a major shopping night, this level of understaffing is unacceptable.

I bought an antenna and installed it where my satellite dish had been. I chose a multi-directional antenna, thinking it would be enough. Needless to say, the reception was poor. I lived with it for two years, telling myself I was saving money, so who cares. But after getting frustrated yet again while trying to watch a football game and seeing the signal cut in and out, I decided it was time to improve things. I called Antenna Pro's and spoke with Arden, who explained that my antenna needed to be pointed in a specific direction. Unfortunately, based on where it was installed, that wasn't possible. I needed his help, so I set up an appointment for him to come take a look. I had always thought the antenna had to be outside for the best results. Arden suggested trying the attic, saying it would be the easiest solution. I wasn't convinced, there was no way an indoor antenna could pick up as many channels as one outside in the open. Boy, was I wrong. I agreed to let Arden set it up in the attic, and we had it running quickly. The difference was night and day compared to what I had before. We also used his antenna, pointed in the right direction, which was a much better solution than the multi-directional one I owned. I went from about 10 channels, many of them inconsistent depending on the time of day, to 151 channels, with about 90% coming in excellent to very good. I also noticed that my TV, which is fairly new and was bought around the time I switched to OTA, now delivers a much better picture for the OTA channels. The 4K quality practically jumps off the screen. Arden was great, professional, easy to work with, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend him if you're struggling with your OTA setup. He's knowledgeable and takes the right steps to solve problems.

My client and the person I take care of has been having major issues with her internet and having a good signal FaceTiming her family and loved ones ! So xfinity told her just to bring in her Wi-Fi box and they'll swapp it out ! No hassle problems or issues! But when I come into the store in person with her ID photo! To Taresa she won't work with us or just be understanding! ? Taresa tells me this person needs to be here in person! And I tell Taresa that she's handicapped and disabled and she can't be here in person because of this ! And I have her ID on me ! and I can easily FaceTime her rite now on my iPhone! She absolutely doesn't care ????? And tells me sorry I don't care about your problems or that she can't make it in person? Not my problem?????? And I don't care ???? You can call the number again and tell them on the phone to make you manager of the account so you can fix this problem???? I asked her calmly if Elaine Salazar was here would you be able to swap this box out ? If she was here in person with me ? And she said yes ? So I said what's the difference if I FaceTime her rite now on the phone? And have her ID with me rite now ????? She basically told me she doesn't care she needs her here in person or else she can't do the internet box exchange??? It's ok I never got rude ! I told all the employees here at this location that she's disabled and absolutely cannot make it in to this location in person because she's in a wheelchair and disabled!!!!! This really really bothered me !!!!!!

If I can give this company negative stars I would. STAY AWAY FROM JADE STAR. My friend ordered a…read moresatellite package from them and when I delivered the TV, I noticed the company gave him standard definition boxes. After talking with a girl on the phone she claims the person who ordered the package refused HD, which is completely false. They wanted $100 per box as a penalty. Remember this is supposed to be a FREE DTV package, and the tech was there just 1 hr ago. What a scam! The girl on the phone was very rude and when I tried to cancel the service she claims the contract forbids it, when Direct TV's policy clearly states the customer can cancel within 30 days if the hardware is returned, minus a $50 de-installation fee. We're going to file a dispute with DTV and our credit card company ASAP. I would hate to see others get taken from Jade Star.

I signed up for Dish Network for two years with Jade Star after seeing their ad in a Chinese magazine. Jade Star told me $10 would be credited to my account by Dish every month as they advertised. After a few months not seeing the credit on my bill, I called Dish Network. They said they did not know anything about the credit and they would contact Jade star. After a while, I contacted Dish again, they said the code that Jade Star gave them was not valid and I would have to take that up with Jade Star. I contacted Jade Star several times, first they said Dish would mail me the check after 1 year (which supposed to be June 2014.) Then they said September, then October, 2014, still no check. I then realized it was just one lie after another. Called them again on 11/7/2014, they told me to email them a copy of the latest statement and they would forward it to Dish Network and I should be receiving a check in two weeks. I just emailed this to them and I am not keeping my hope up. The next step for me will be taking them to court and filing a complaint with the District Attorney's office and the Better Business Bureau. By the way, when you sign up for either Direct TV or Dish Network with Jade Star, they have their own contractor do the installation and they give you refurbished cable boxes. Guess who will be responsible for the repair or replacement of the box if that box fails.

Skylight services and Commitment to Customer cannot be TRUSTED…read more My Personnel Experience , Dish Network Service Started : Nov 2008 Today is March 04 2010 : Till date I haven't received the Coupon/Check for $50 from Skylight TV. Deal with Skylight : $50 coupon for the local Grocery Store. I was told by skylight customer service agent during the dish network service registration that i will get a $50 coupon once i complete 60 days of service . This was back in Nov 2008. Till Date ( March 04 2010 ) , I haven't received the coupon . After numerous follow up's , Skylight told me that it should take 3/4 weeks to process the check/coupon . That 3/4 weeks turned out to be more than a year . On March 04 2010 , I wrote an final email to Skylight customer service In response , they are telling me now (after 1 year) that Skylight is not responsible for the coupon. I should get the coupon from the local grocery store. Why should a local grocery store be responsible for the coupon when the service is signed up with Skylight. Why the turnaround after 1 year ?????? In my opinion 1 year is too long to keep a customer waiting . Now it is not about $50. It is about the commitment given to Customer .
