    I got 1n 15 minures before closing. I was crossing my fingers not to be shooed away and told to come back another day. Nope! The rep put my name down and helped me after closing as she had a difficult customer before me. I had a DMV issue as my renewal tags had not arrived. She was quick and I was out the door in less than 10 minutes!

    I've been a AAA member for years but my recent experience was extremely disappointing with the customer service representative at the lobby. She was unhelpful and at times rude. Not welcoming, no smile and bad attitude without understanding the issues. But the reps inside are friendly and helpful. Very frustrated to have this kinda attitude given that she works in the lobby.

    Nice to not have to go to DMV. CSR assisted me in the title transfer and there was no wait. It's clean inside, unlike DMV's. LOL!

    An 82% increase in 2025!!!…read more I previously had a 6-month cost of $1,257.44, or monthly payment of $209.57 (but was charged $230.30/month and they have not explained why). As I understand, an at-fault parking lot incident would be 1 point. More than two years have passed with a clean record as well as mileage that decreased to 1/10 (if not even less) in the past 8 months. I had no significant increases until this year. I also checked with friends and family with State Farm in California, and they had approximately 17% - 22% increases (which CA approved), not an 82% increase! This is unique to their agency. They are stating that s previously stating that "2 full years have passed since 11/19/2022. A clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or violations is a 0 or SR. Because of this at-fault accident your driver rating should be a 6, but 2 years passed, meaning your driver record is currently now a 4." State Farm billing states that "For every 12 months since the renewal following the occurrence of a chargeable accident or the conviction of a minor violation, the initial assigned Driver Record Level for that chargeable accident or conviction shall be lowered by 1 level." This agency is stating "Every 12-month period, your driver record would decrease by 1 point, meaning this incident will be on your driver record for 4 more years." In the state of CA, at-fault minor parking lot incident is 1 point and is on record for 3 years. This was not a traffic violation or other serious infraction that would result in a 6 rating or longer lasting record. It does not make sense that they JUST decided to raise my payments by 92% after more than two years of a clean record when I am in year 3 and back to a 0 rating. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. I have obtained four 6-month quotes with other reputable auto insurers with my record that are within $250 of my previous $1257 6-month rate and will no longer do business with Rachel Bhan.

Prior to that, we had a different Farmer's agent, who was difficult to get a hold of, not helpful and rude on the phone. Erich is the exact opposite and we are so happy we found him. He is very responsive and on top of things. He literally emails back within minutes and calls exactly when he says he will. It's very impressive. He is patient and willing to explain things in detail, sometimes more than once. He's answered so many of my dumb questions and has provided sound guidance during policy reviews. I was also in a recent auto accident (not my fault) and he was able to provide much needed support and guidance regarding that situation as well. Honestly, he goes above and beyond. Although I'm sure he is busy and has lots of clients, he never gives off the impression that he is too busy for us. Instead, every time we talk to him, he answers all our questions thoroughly, making feel like we are worth his time and that he is here for us. We couldn't ask for a better agent and if I could rate more than 5 stars, I would. Highly recommend. We originally were just working with him on home insurance, but we were so happy with his service and attention to detail that we moved our auto insurance and umbrella insurance over to Farmer's as well.

He as been with me through countless moves, life changes, vehicles, small business changes and life partners! He responds to my needs so quickly and is very honest about what insurance actually fits my current needs! After 9 years, I can genuinely say that he makes a concerted effort to work with you to get you the best insurance for your life and your needs, not the most expensive insurance that will make him and the company the most money. I wish I could get such great customer service from every company. I have had many other insurance companies over the years for all sorts of insurance (event, business, life, auto, renters, etc.) - all of those other companies have been slow, difficult to deal with, lackluster attitudes, impossible to reach a real person etc. Even companies where my premium was $$$$ for a huge policy! Erich provides amazing service without having to be a huge customer. Yet, he doesn't shy away from complex policies either! At one time my partner and I had 3 motorcycles, an RV, a box trailer, a pick up truck, a sports car, a mini-van, and another passenger car all insured with him. Plus our home owners and renters insurance policies. You may think that he was awesome because of the volume of business we had with him - no - he was just as impressive when I just had my passenger car insured with him at the beginning, 9 years ago. However, about 20 years ago, due to very high winds, our back fence blew down and we had to file a claim with Farmer's Insurance to get it fixed. All went well until the next bill came and we discovered that Farmer's Insurance had increased our premium. That really ticked us off. I mean, what good is insurance when you pay your premiums every year and then, when you need their help, they raise your rates? We dumped Farmers Insurance and went with another company but Dan Young, like I said, was a decent agent.

My wife and I gave our granddaughter a used Prius for college graduation, and by telephone call with Dan arranged for two 6 month insurance payments. When the second payment became due, (my bad), I thought I was paid up but I was not. The DMV was about to invoke their lawful remedies. Dan stepped in. I'm sure the bill got paid on time with Dan's own money. Yes, I was a long-term client, but how many insurance agents do you know who would do the same.
