I was craving viet food and ordered take out. Price must have been raised since it was on the app. It was pretty high. Mi Xao Bo stir fry beef noodles4/5 Flavorful. Noodles were drench in the sauce. On the sweeter side. Com suong Bo Beef short ribs and broken rice 4/5 Meet was tender. Sauce was sweet and marinated well. Looked like a lot of meat but there was much more rice than meat. Could use a bit more ribs. Ca Kho To Carmelized Catfish 4/5 Cooked very well. Fish was very tender and fatty. Sauce was super sweet, which most places make it so.

The place was clean, spacious, and well decorat inside. We came in a group of 6 during Tuesday lunch. The place was occupied by 1 big table (around 10-12) & about 3-4 tables of 2 before us, but the server seemed so stressed out. He told us they were really overwhelmed because of all party tray orders so they didn't want to accept more customers. Every dine-in order would expect at least 30-40 mins to get ready. It was only their 2nd week of grand opening & it also happened to be during the Thanksgiving week so we understand the whole situation. I've heard so many good things about their Com Suon Nuong (Grilled Pork Chop on Broken Rice) so we all went for that. It was okay & the portion was generous but the pork chop was a bit too dry and cold when it came to our table, so I didn't get to have the best taste of this dish yet. We might come back to give it another try in a few more weeks after the hype starts to be normalized and the kitchen is more prepared.

After reading the reviews about the food, being too sweet, I definitely see where everyone was coming from. We order the caramelized catfish, sweet-and-sour, catfish soup, and the rice plate with pork. The rice plate was very generous, plenty of meat and plenty of rice and vegetables. The flavor was sweet, but the fish sauce evened that out a bit. I wish the pork was less fatty, I felt like most of the pork was mostly fat. The caramelized fish was very sweet but again it was a great protein to eat with the rice. The sweet-and-sour cat fish soup was pretty delicious. I loved all of the fresh ingredients they had! Service was really great, the waitress constantly checked on us if we needed anything and brought out our food pretty quickly ! Only thing was that the restaurant smells like cigarettes. I think being next to the café definitely made it smell this way.

We came here on a Sunday night for dinner. We ordered - Gỏi Củ Hủ Dừa với Lỗ Tai Heo và Mực, very tasty and delicious, the next time I will get it with shrimp instead of squid 4/5 - Ruột Heo Chiên Dòn, this dish is also good there were plenty 4/5 - Cá Kho Tộ was good just a tad sweet . But not bad 3.5/5 The place is nice & clean , nothing too fancy , the service was homie and friendly . Will come back for other dishes .

Crispiest chicken wings !!!!!!! you MUST get their fish sauce fried chicken wings it's a 10/10. - grilled pork intestines 6/10 not my favorite it was too fatty for me - com thit nuong 7/10 pretty good classic dish - eggrolls 6/10 good classic appetizer I'm definitely coming back for their wings. My aunt also orders a whole tray of their wings for family events and it's still crispy by the time we eat them.

The restaurant was recommended by a family friend. She catered some food trays here and it was such a hit that I had to order some party trays during Lunar New Year for my family. We ordered the Cánh Gà Chiên Nước Mắm (fish sauce chicken wings) and gỏi gân bò trộn xoài (beef tendon mango salad). Both our favorite and the wings were completely gone within a hour. Definitely consider catering from here. Everyone will love the wings. We cannot wait to dine in and try other option from their menu!

I was intrigued by this spot on Ubereats. So, I ordered their grilled beef ribs and grilled pork over broken rice. The ribs were tasty and had that nice chargrilled taste. It reminded me of Korean galbi ribs. The grilled pork was delicious, but it wasn't as flavorful as the beef ribs. For both, dishes they do give you a lot of rice. But, I wished it was less soggy. Overall, as an UberEats delivery, this was a 3.5 star rating.

Been here for multiple times and never left disappointed! My group ordered nearly the whole menu. None of the dish taste bad! That says a lot cuz we're very picky when it comes to our cuisine. I personally love how they cook the greens!

I was recommended this restaurant by my friend, so I decided to go check this place out recently on a weekday afternoon. There aren't that many good Viet restaurants in Houston in my opinion, so I don't have very high expectations for Viet foods around here. It is located on the far side of Viet Town, and the shopping center also looked pretty sketchy to me with bad parking spaces. Surprisingly, the foods here tasted pretty good and reminds me of the foods in Vietnam. I ordered the Cơm Sườn Bò Đại Hàn (steamed broken rice w/ beef short ribs), it was so good and flavorful. They actually use broken rice, instead of regular jasmine rice that many Viet places use. I also added an egg roll to it, which was pretty decent tasting as well and definitely tasted homemade. Another dish I ordered was the Bún Thịt Nướng (vermicelli with grilled pork), and it was also very flavorful and tasty as well. I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area for more.

I gave 2 star for the food, 0 star for service. The food is good but the service is horrible. We order food without vegetables. I have said specific "no onion, no vegetables, only noodles and meat. We wait 7 mins for the food which is normal. But it come out with beansprout. So I told the server, I can't eat it. She said " u didn't say no beansprout, u need to say no beansprout." Ma'am, I understand being a server is hard. But customer ask to not have vegetables, beansprout is a vegetable. They gave me a mean look, make me think Beansprout does not considered as vegetables. I have to look up online lol, here is it. Beansprout is vegetables. No service during the time we eat there too. I eat porkchop with bamboo chopsticks, very vietnamese lol. There is no knife or fork to use I guess, because i never got once. After all, please be prepared for a mean look from server if u ask for your food to be remake in the right way.

The filling is placed in a pan and then a thin layer of batter made with tumeric and coconut milk yellow batter is poured on top. You wrap the lettuce around the bánh xèo/bánh khọt and dip it in the fish sauce. I got the bánh khọt and the bò né. Bánh khọt is like a mini, thicker version of bánh xèo and came with nine pieces. Their bánh khọt was crispy, sweet and savory, and went well with the fish sauce. Although the portions initally look small, they are very filling. The bò né was filling and sizzling when it came out. It also came with a side of salad. The meat was tender. I really liked the bánh khọt and would definitely come back for them. I couldn't have been more wrong. Xeo Yum (#1) as it turns out is one of the most legit Vietnamese places in Midtown serving up some of the city's best banh xeo and banh khot. Located inside of a Food Hall (#2) in the back corner, they have low-key become a destination and without question, the most popular stall in the entire place. The fan base didn't happen overnight but is a direct result of Chef Cuong Nguyen's commitment to quality Vietnamese fare. Banh Xeo is their signature item, which is also known as a sizzling crepe or pancake made of rice flour, tumeric, and coconut milk. The banh xeo holds well, is perfectly crispy, and is nicely stuffed with an assortment of beans sprouts, shrimp, and some of the best grilled pork belly I've had. Another specialty item that doesn't get enough mention is their banh khot, which is similar but has a mini muffin / cupcake like appearance made in a specialty cast iron mold. This version is wonderfully crispy and pairs perfectly with fresh greens and fish sauce with some funk. It is my favorite item here. Some have argued they also serve one of the best bo ne (#3), the Vietnamese version of steak and eggs served in a skillet. The chunks of beef are nice and tender with just a tad of char, served with two fried eggs, and a banh mi baguette with a mix of butter and spare. Normally I think of spam or sausage included with the meats, but Chef Cuong's spin is with cherry tomatoes. It's a different approach and I'm not mad at it. Folks not looking for this can shoot for bo luc lac, aka shaking beef, which is also recommended. The staff here is sweet, hard-working, and very friendly. They also make a mean Vietnamese coffee and offer free iced self-serve water. The prices are what I would expect in a Midtown food hall, and there's plenty of seating. Anyone checking out the food hall need to make Xeo Yum as part of their eating itinerary. __________ (#1) A play on the Vietnamese sizzling crepe, Banh "xeo" and yum" (#2) Previously the Conservatory and now Stestí Food Hall. When I arrived there was nobody dining in the restaurant, that was a bit worrying, but I figured it was a bit early for the dinner crowd and late for the lunch crowd. Food & Drink - 4.5* First up was the noodles, I enjoyed them, but I wouldn't say the hype I'd heard about from some others was there. They had nice flavor, but there just wasn't anything "special." 3.5* Then it was on to the crawfish, and my oh my. Superb, the flavor is delicious and unique. This more than made up for the noodles dish. The potato and corn was good too. Service - 5* Solid. When I first arrived the owner was quietly reading a newspaper and eating his own lunch. He paused to greet me and advised that I could sit anywhere. He provided water and adequate time to determine what I wanted to order. The food came out quickly and he checked in a few times to make sure everything was ok. As time went by, the crowd of folks showing up increased quite a bit and he still managed to check in on tables consistently. Pricing - 4* This is where it was odd. Always subjective but I found the noodles to be overpriced for not only the size but what I felt was a pretty simple dish. The crawfish on the other hand was priced very competitively and made up for the overpriced noodles. I provided pics of the menu for someone to make their own assessment but in general I thought many of the dishes were pricier than they probably should be. I know inflation is certainly killing many businesses and consumers but even these felt a bit off. Overall - 4.5* This is definitely going to be one of my go tos for crawfish when in the area. The flavor is fantastic, the pricing is good, the size of them were solid. There are a couple of other dishes I may try on the next visit. It comes in a set of 2 but we got a 3 pack! I ordered the grilled branzino and let me tell you! That chimichurri sauce !! Clutch! It is demonetisation and truly grilled to perfection. My friends ordered the filet mignon and the chicken and they were equally as impressed! I ordered the espresso mousse for dessert which comes out in the shape of a coffee bean. Cuteeee and perfect! This place didn't disappoint and it is a must visit.

This is a higher end fine dining restaurant so you should expect the portion sizes and price to be pretty comparable to a lot of other finer dining restaurants. Overall the food's flavor was fantastic. I ordered the king salmon clay pot. I thought the salmon was so tasty! They added pepper and sauce to the salmon - It was tender and flavorful and paired nicely with white rice. The quail (not pictured below) also was super flavorful and was cooked so well it tasted like beef. The soup was also light and refreshing, similar to a west lake soup. It was thicker consistency and had cilantro and chucks of lobster. The drinks served were also super balanced. We ordered the mojito and the dragon fruit cocktail. The mojito was the right balance between minty and sweet with just a hint of alcohol flavor. For the dragon fruit cocktail, it was very fruity, on the sweeter side but not overpowering and was topped with egg whites to give it a little bit of frothiness. I will say, we are slightly underdressed to enter this establishment. Everything seemed so luxurious and many people were in formal business wear! Keep this in mind if you go! There is a parking deck right next to the location as well, both self parking and valet!
