Fortunately, after 6pm it's both free and easy to find nearby. As a solo diner I was initially relegated to the bar but, I don't drink so I asked for a quieter table and within 5 minutes they accommodated me with a seat by the windows upstairs. The inside is gorgeous and they have a nice patio as well. Beautiful and low-key but elegant decor. Service was excellent and extremely proficient. Never had to ask twice for something and easily able to answer menu questions and make suggestions. I actually hadn't planned on ordering the Fattoush but, when I said I loved tomatoes it was recommended and I am so glad it was. It was a standout. In the end I ordered 3 things bc I was dining solo: -Hummus with crudité (veggies instead of bread) -Fattoush - seasonal ingredients. -Red Snapper - about 3oz so small portion but perfectly cooked and flavored. Loved this. I very much wanted the knafeh dessert but I knew the portion was big and didn't want to be miserable and waste it. They have a nice non-alcoholic menu with some interesting drinks as well. Overall - perfect final meal in town and I can't wait to come back with my husband and try even more!

Calliope is upscale business casual, which we were definitely not wearing, but we were treated kindly and we decided to dine at the bar which was an excellent choice .bartender server was excellent and really knew the menu and preparation! We paired with Armenian and Greek wine. Had Lebanese whiskey for afterwards. What a delightful and satisfying experience. We appreciate quality and craftsmanship of their food and wine. We will tell our friends who visit about this gem of Chattanooga! We will return.

Wound up at the aquarium for a couple hours and ended up hungry at the very end of it. Not far from where we were parked we found the Wooden City conveniently across from it all (dare I say a brisk walk's worth) with Mellow Mushroom and Ben & Jerry's establishments at both corners. We were given the options of staying inside or being placed outside and we chose (biased a lil) the opportunity of eating outside. We were taken care of accordingly by Jonathan, who is a perfect example of someone that makes tourism worth it, we chitchatted back-and-forth and came across some great options on our appetizers and drinks. While we waited for drinks, we were served water with ice as the weather outside was pleasant but a little too hot for the afternoon... When the appetizers arrived, we were greeted by not only demonstration, but taste above what I've had as of recent. Wife enjoyed the freshness of the tomatoes and cheese whilst I was mesmerized by how subtle and uber smooth my Old Fashioned was. We unwinded and talked about our day here in this city and then our next meal plates arrived. I had the very unique and well presented Beet Ravioli and the wife had the exquisite Spicy Lamb Rigatoni. Immediate upon arrival to our table my wife and I exchanged a bite of each other's plates to give a chance for our taste pallets to experience one another. The Beet Ravioli took back my wife to a time where she made something of similar taste and the Rigatoni took me back to California when I tasted something familiar then. Towards the end, I saved the location at the name of the restaurant, as I would like a near future to come back and visit with more time. Jonathan was an absolute help for our satisfaction in Chattanooga and we are thankful.

On a recent trip to the area, we decided to stop here for lunch after reading the great Yelp…read morereviews. I must admit that the reviews were spot on. Everything about this experience was top-notch! From being seated quickly upon entering, to explaining how the ticket validation thing worked (more info at the end), customer service was some of the best I've been shown. The ambiance is chic but casual-great for both cozy date night or fun family night. Our server was so friendly and patient as we asked questions about the menu. I ordered the grilled salmon with spicy crab remoulade and my guy ordered the smoked wings with a side of fries. I was happy that I was able to select my own sides from the ones on the menu so I opted for the fried Brussels sprouts with maple and bacon and the buttermilk whipped potatoes. After a short wait, our food was brought out. This was truly one of the best salmon dishes I have ever eaten! The salmon was cooked to my liking, the potatoes were soft and fluffy and the fried Brussels sprouts were absolutely divine and perfect. The remoulade was a little salty but it may have been just been my taste. The potatoes helped with that so it was not a deal breaker. My guy was pleased with his food as well and I could tell he enjoyed everything he ate. We agreed that we would take this trip back just to eat this meal again. It was truly a wonderful experience, from beginning to end. I highly recommend trying this gem out! Pro Tip: The restaurant validates parking. If you park in the lot across the street, do not prepay on the app or online. Ask the servers at the front to validate to save the $18 parking fee before you order and within 15 minutes after entering. Unfortunately, we didn't do this and the restaurant cannot reimburse the money after you've already paid. You've been warned!

The inside was huge! But we sat outside under their covered porch. They have TVs, but there weren't any fans. If it's hot, I'd opt for inside! The beets were fresh and the goat cheese carried so much flavor. For the desserts, we got the carrot cake with pecans and chocolate cheesecake. Both were soooo good. I would get both of them again, especially the carrot cake which was so warm and moist. And the candied pecans were such a nice complement to the cake - not too sweet at all. The ambience is super nice and fresh, and our server was so sweet and engaging. The hostess as well. Everybody there was so nice and welcoming. I was alone and asked for a quiet table in the back - I looked at the patio which was really nice and spacious, but it was about 95 degrees so I chose to sit inside due to that. I was seated at a nice booth alone with tons of space and a friendly waitress came to explain the menu to me and take my order. I had a mocktail made that was very good - and they only charged $5 for all mocktails which I appreciate. As a non-drinker it irritates me to pay $13-18 for juice that doesn't even have alcohol. I chose the house salad and it was by far the best I've ever had. Loaded with fresh veggies, delicious dressing, cheese and some breadcrumbs I think. Great size and portion for the price and fabulous combination of items. I chose the salmon with peaches and cream couscous. The salmon itself was wonderful - but that couscous was so good, I could not stop eating it. It had corn and fresh peaches and it was the perfect combination of salty and sweet. For dessert - I went with the Chocolate Bomb.com but found it to be wayyyyy too salty with the toffee, salt, and combo. I wish I'd gotten their famous cheesecake but, next time! Loved everything about this spot. Very elegant and no portion of my food wasn't clearly well planned and carefully prepared. Highly, highly recommend. The service is excellent; we are regulars and it's top tier every time. Some things I'd like to see happen here: (1) a more true and robust brunch menu and please get an espresso machine, (2) brunch could use some live music and/or a dj (like a toned-down Stateside Kitchen vibe or a jazz trio--something--anything). The food is so good here, there is no reason this place shouldn't be absolutely packed on a Sunday.

I really appreciated how attentive everyone was throughout our visit! Our food came out in a good amount of time. I ordered the miso ramen, and let me just say--it was a 10/10! The flavors were absolutely spectacular. I've never had tofu that good, and it was served on the side. The way the edamame was seasoned and paired with the broth was simply TOO GOOD! Chattanooga is a meat town. Main Street Meats seems perfectly content with that fact…read more This is a butcher shop that happens to feed you, which is usually a promising arrangement. Nothing arrives looking like it spent twenty minutes being positioned with tweezers. It's meat, bread, potatoes, pickles and sauce--the sort of food that requires napkins and leaves evidence. The Reuben is borderline obscene. A heap of deeply colored, tender meat barely contained between aggressively toasted bread, melted cheese and pickles. It's messy. It falls apart. You stop caring almost immediately. The turkey club is the quieter surprise. Thick slices of actual turkey--not the sad, uniformly circular stuff that's been haunting office refrigerators since the Eisenhower administration--piled onto grilled bread with bacon, avocado and enough richness to make the whole thing work. Then there are the potatoes: thick, fried rounds with crisp, dark edges and soft centers, served without ceremony alongside ketchup and a creamy orange sauce. Simple food done properly. There's nowhere for bad technique to hide. And that's really the appeal of Main Street Meats. They're not trying to convince you that lunch needs a backstory. They butcher animals, understand meat, make sandwiches and appear to take all of it seriously without taking themselves too seriously. Michelin noticed the place. After eating here, it's not particularly difficult to understand why. Come hungry. Order too much. Get the Reuben. Wear a shirt you don't particularly care about.
