Drinks! Iced chai (left) Strawberry hibiscus iced tea (right)

If you get anything other than an espresso drink do not expect a lot of flavor. We got a latte and a cortado a few days ago and they were good. Went back today and am now sad. The iced drinks we got feel very watered down. When ordering the staff are oddly quiet creating a strange atmosphere and they are oddly missing some syrups and drinks such as lemonade that you'd expect a coffee shop to have.

I love working at this cafe! They have a lot of table space. Generally, it's also very calm and quiet so perfect for studying. They also have free wifi and a restroom on site. However, the only downside is that there are no outlets so come with your devices fully charged.

I've walked past this spot so many times, and finally decided to give it a try! I love the calm cafe vibes. It's perfect for getting some work done, or relaxing after a long day. The staff are friendly and the pastries are reasonably priced. Don't forget to get a loyalty card!

Great local spot for coffee, chai, plus a light lunch or pastry. It's spacious enough for several tables. Note: no tea

Always really liked Hungry Ghost so was excited when they brought one to our neighborhood! You can count on them for a great flat white or cappuccino! Recently came here with my cousin and got the chocolate chip cookie which was delicious! It had the perfect amount of salt and the chocolate was dark and rich! A great stop if you're near one in any neighborhood!

People have left some odd reviews of this place, including a one-star review for the restaurant…read moreapparently being highly politicized--a vibe I neither felt nor could visually identify within or without the establishment. I ordered a single burger and a Sudan spiced peanut butter latte, for ~$15! That's pretty inexpensive for New York City. I note this as some consider it overpriced. I suppose the food is fairly inexpensive, the lattes slightly higher than average. The "burger" comes wrapped in a homemade pita with diced cucumber, onion, and tomato, plus a few crispy, thick-cut fries and a yummy house sauce. It was a cool twist of the traditional burger and had a nice flavor. The sauce was like a slightly Mediterranean version of Big Mac sauce. The girl working as the barista and cashier was very nice and friendly. She had a nice presence and warm smile, made suggestions, and even gave a stranger free utensils when they popped on to ask. I think it's definitely worth checking out, and it's a good place for a cheap & simple meal that's still quirky and fun.

I have wanted to try this spot for some time, and wound up a bit disappointed with what I tried…read more They feature a tahini cold brew, which features two things I love dearly, but instead of a rich cold brew it was overly sweet and icy--more like a slushie. Perhaps I should have anticipated that, or my mistake in ordering. I also ordered a Moroccan egg salad sandwich which was substantive but surprisingly bland--sparse with the advertised capers and pickled red onions to give it more punch. I've always loved the look of the spot and the vibe--funky decor, outside and indoor facing counters to order, with some outdoor seating for people watching on Dekalb or heading nearby Ft. Greene Park. I see they are renovating and rebranding a bit and adding some burger component. While I didn't love it, I'd definitely give it another shot.
