Given this was the only spot to get a meal in the outlet mall, we appreciated their food! It was well priced for what we got. Personally I think the fried rice and chow mein didn't have enough flavor but the meats were great. The spicy chicken was delicious in flavor and perfect amount of crispy-ness. The potstickers took 5 minutes for them to make but we're done fresh and we're very yummy. They have lots of places to sit like a food court with bathrooms and lots of parking out front because it is in an outdoor mall.

Service was good, wonton was fresh took a few mins to make but was quick. Rest of good was meh, chicken chow mein noodles were really soft and more like a pasta with no sauce. Broccoli beef was meh, and the spicy chicken was ok good sauce but the chicken was dry. Then it really killed the meal when I found the hair. Got this order to go so not like I can walk up and complain and get it taken care of. Wonton soup was good and fresh / hot.

This is steam table Chinese. As long as you know what you're getting into, it's pretty good. There are a lot of choices available, but I'll be honest that a lot of them look similar and kind of dried out. They'll let you sample any thought, so you can check to be sure! This will probably be one of the cheapest places in Napa you can find. $7.89 will get you two entrees and chicken lo main, as opposed to $12 getting you a tiny tapa. I went here when I needed to sober up from a Napa Valley Distillery event, and it did the job great. I got the spicy chicken and the king's chicken (basically kung pao), and both were quite tasty. The spice isn't too intense but it's definitely there. If you're spice sensitive, I'd recommend trying first. I highly recommend adding their hot sauce too. Delicious. The chicken low mein was better than most mall Chinese starches, but you'll still find they're skimpy on the chicken. Overall, I'd happy come back here, but I won't be going out of my way to tell people about it.

Wonderful & fast Chinese food! The owner is super friendly. The food is hot and freshly made. I got a combo plate with Tai Chin Chicken and spicy green beans. Perfect lunch with leftovers!

As such, it was extremely noisy and you could see that couples on dates had a hard time even talking to one another, and eventually just stopped. I could barely hear my wife talking next to me. Most of the servers would even have to lean in to hear the orders. As for the food, nothing really stood out. We ordered a large variety as we were a group of 10 eating family style and nothing really stood out. The quality of the food I would say was akin to fast food or mall food court level, but you're paying 3 times as much. The price belied the food quality. For example, 3 small pieces of ribs as an appetizer for more than $30, I'd expect it to be uniquely spiced, flavorful and juicy, but it was rather dry and tasted as like sauce from Panda Express. Their Wagyu beef carpaccio had too many strong flavors so the taste of the beef itself was lost. Heck, it didn't even really have the notable creamy-like texture that wagyu was supposed to have either (likely a lower grade of wagyu, probably somewhere between USDA Choice and Prime). A lot of their items feel gimmicky too: the unagi clay pot came with some seaweed, a seaweed holder, and two small bottles of sauces. The sauces were bland and contributed nothing to the dish. Making your own "hand rolls" with the seaweed did nothing for this dish other than get your hands dirty. I've watched enough Iron Chef back in the day to understand that this is very Morimoto, as he tries to make the dishes fun. The unagi itself was quite nice, though it might be my personal bias. The Halibut we got was overcooked and dry. Yes halibut is a firmer meat, but man this was hard to eat. The best dish was likely the Ishiyaki Buri Bop, which came with some tables idea theatrics. Nevertheless, for the price, you could do much better at a place like Kunjip Tofu in the bay. Overall, a bad experience. Based on the price point, I thought we'd be getting better food and better ambience, but it was overall mediocre - a blemish on the Morimoto name.

Some mishaps have happened with service on prior visits but management and servers are always concerned and make it right. That's why I keep coming back. I Popped in Thursday afternoon for Pho. It was not busy only two other couples eating when we arrived. We sat at our usual table And noted service was a bit slow right off the bat. When I received my Pho, which I thought was a longer wait than usual, it was luke warm if that. The Korean ribs and chicken wings arrived temperature appropriate. I pushed my soup aside but no one checked back until my lunch mate finished. When the waiter came to clear the table I asked for a to go and thought he would ask if there was anything wrong. He did not so I told him the Pho was served luke warm so I did not eat it and that no one had checked back or even passed by us or I would have sent it back to heat it up. We were done now so I'd just take it to go. Our waiter apologized and when he brought the bill said The Pho was comped and apologized again for the breakdown in service. When I dine I like to relax and enjoy a meal With who I came with. So receiving temperature appropriate food is important. The KD does a good job. They have a diverse menu with flavorful food and great cocktails. When there is a hiccup in service or the food there is a genuine concern. Sometimes it's caught by them and others it's brought to their attention. It's how things are dealt with when those mishaps happen. The KD addresses your concerns with sincerity and want their diner to have an all around great experience. If you have not been give KD a try when in downtown Napa.
