As some other vegans have recommended, I called the owner before our first visit. She was so helpful. I can't recall having such an extensive conversation with a restaurant owner. She gave very detailed instructions and answered all my questions. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was delicious. I ordered a bowl with one scoop of wheat pilaf plus mixed greens with falafel and mushroom shawarma and all the non-spicy vegan toppings and sauces. The portion was very generous even for me who can down a lot of a food. I also ordered the Mediterranean Vegan Mix-Chaat to eat the next day. The owner said they stuff a lot of food in the container and it's true! I also enjoyed it but didn't realize they used the Moroccan Hot Sauce so I had to add a lot of greens, but I still enjoyed it. Next time I order this, I'll just remember to specifically request how I want it dressed. We have been back 4 times in the last month and we will be regulars from now on. It's our new favorite restaurant in Orange. Give this place a try today. It's awesome! read more

(And those places are good too) The actual space is small but really clean and fresh, just like the food. You can get a bowl, wrap etc. Pick your base, protein, toppings and sauces. I got the bowl ($12) with turmeric & lemon chicken and sooo many yummy toppings and sauces (the red cabbage salad was so tasty). Sameer helped me out and asked if it was my first time. He gave me his recommendations, some of which I chose, and walked me through each step and explained how certain ingredients compliment each other. I went home to eat, and all my roommates say "wow that looks good where is that from?" - so we all went 2 hours later. Yes, it's that good that I went back two hours later.
