Great sliders with lots of vegetarian options. Ordered the sweet thang and portobello bliss. Everything from the brioche bun, tofu/mushroom , to the sauce hit the spot! I liked the sweet thang's tangy sauce and the portobello in the portobello bliss was perfectly cooked and juicy. The only drawback is the sliders are quite expensive considering how small they are ($8 each , or 3 for $21, $6 for $42). To actually be full you probably need like 4 of them. No seating but its a nice area to walk around. Overall great spot! read more

This place looked new because they only had 13 reviews. I went inside and immediately wanted to leave. It was a cold day, so I wanted to find some place to dine in. This establishment doesn't have seating! They sell itty bitty sliders and bad bread pudding. It said strawberry cheesecake but didn't even have strawberry OR cheesecake! It tasted bad like cherries. I have no pictures so I am going to try to explain in detail how amazing this food was. My wife and I went in on a Sunday morning just after 11 as it's when they open. There were two men behind the counter, both of which you could really tell had passion about this place. One of them came out and explained each item on the menu to us, including their lunch special which we decided to partake in. This made for an amazing experience and great ambiance, despite it being a hole in the wall restaurant with no seating. For sliders, we got the All American and The Shoreline Smoky. For the side we got the Crispy Brussels Sprouts. After a couple of minutes I decided that I wanted to try the Any Time Potatoes as well. I honestly couldn't pick a favorite if you told me to. It was all so amazing. My favorite about each item is as follows: All American: the flavor of the meat was unique, rich, and deep. Alongside the pickles and cheese, I closed my eyes and was in heaven. Shoreline Smoky: It was a lot of meat, almost too much, but the sweet chili coleslaw and the bbq sauce helped bring it all together for a homestyle pulled pork flavor that is reminiscent of afternoons up in Apple Hill, CA. My favorite part about this slider was the snap of the coleslaw. It really helped bring texture to the slider and had some amazing flavor. Crispy Brussels Sprouts: Initially I was curious about how they would get them crispy, and usually bacon in a Brussels sprouts dish tends to be a bit mushy, but they delivered far beyond my expectations. It was all so crispy, fried just enough without overdoing it, and the flavors between the bacon and the mustard had my tastebuds dancing. The flavors of the bacon and the slight hint of mustard were my favorite part about this dish, as they helped to turn a usual green into something savory. Any Time Potatoes: Although I got these with cheese, I could imagine getting them without... but why would I? The cheese sauce was savory, rich, and had so many flavors that I wasn't expecting. The potatoes could be easy to snack on without the cheese, but these felt sacrilegious to just eat. Each bite took my breath away. I would close my eyes and have this beautiful ratatouille experience. I have no idea what flavors there were, although the man did explain to me every ingredient when I asked. I have never had something so good in my life. This has truly been a life altering experience. So, my opinion on Huck's? If I lived here, it would be a weekly ritual. Until then, it will be a Fort Bragg staple that I will talk about for years, and will recommend any time Fort Bragg is mentioned in conversation. So my wife is a huge slider fan, as am I, so we decided to try this place. I guess they used to be in the brewery and now they have a stand alone business as well. I have to say...their food is spectacular! I had the American, the Buf Chik, and the Shoreline(pulled pork). My wife had the same but added a chili bowl. The ingredients are extremely fresh and the food had excellent flavor. We eat a lot of sliders, but I have to say their sliders were above and beyond. You can literally just taste the difference in quality and the guys working there were great and you can see they love what they do. The chili was amazing as well. The only critique that I have, and this is just a personal thing, is that I am a "sauce" guy and I would've liked to taste a little more of the buffalo sauce on the chicken sandwich, but other than that, everything was top-notch. DUDE. my husband and I stopped by at lunch time, we may have been the first customer - the owner was so friendly and kindly went over the whole menu with us. We ended up getting the All American slider, shoreline smokey and the brussel sprouts all apart of the lunch special - we last minute added the any time potatoes with cheese & holy sh**. It was truly amazing the sliders were wonderful, everything about them was delicious, the brussels were crispy, flavorful and the bacon was crunchy and delicious. The potatoes really locked us in with a smokey cajun flavor and a rich creamy cheese sauce over them. I highly recommend stopping by! There is not seating at the restaurant but the location is in the heart of Fort Bragg with plenty of seating choices around to enjoy the beautiful weather and sights. read more

Gave Huck's a try as it has a unique menu. Had one American slider and a small order of their Brussel sprouts. The sprouts were outstanding, cooked well and in a very tasty glaze! The slider was cooked well but the bun was a bit much. There was one small slice of pickle, maybe two would be better balanced. Service was adequate. Price was my issue. $8.00 for a single slider (or $21.00 for three) and $9.00 for a cup of sprouts seemed a bit high, not something I would repeat with any frequency. Will wait a bit to see how things shake out after being open a bit longer. read more
