Friendly service, good food, nice view and a laid back atmosphere. Dogs permitted on the outdoor deck, and they bring water and have a separate menu for pups. One of our favorite stops in Fort Bragg.

New look, same menu(cook). Looks snazzy, quieter environment yet the seats are closer together (we could hear our neighbors as though we were dining together) too close. Waiter was nervous, and did a fine job. Was quick to attend, and got our drinks and soup right out to us. Had to wait for the meals, but that's ok. Had the rock cod sandwich with Caesar salad and one of us had the garlic clams and linguine. Loaded with clams (in their shells, not canned) and the flavor was great. A salad would have been a nice touch with it, but it was a good meal. The sandwiches were ok. The lettuce for it was wilted from being under a heat lamp. The sauce with it lacked flavor, we were expecting a chipotle spicier sauce. It appeared to be a thousand island tartar sauce creation. It was good though. The Caesar was doused in dressing, tasted good and the anchovies were a nice touch. Being a local, it would be nice to tell out of towners to dine there. Standard fare, prices about the same as anywhere else here. The view is the highlight, watching the boats, sea lions and other wildlife is well worth the price.

The Wharf has an amazing view especially on a sunny. The water and the foliage is gorgeous and I recommend walking around as much as possible, beautiful scenery. Service was polite and the staff are great to talk to. Food was great and we enjoyed a long lunch enjoying the birds on the water and trying to spot any wildlife through the windows.

This place truly saved us on New Year's Eve. We got into Fort Bragg pretty late -- close to 9 PM -- and just wanted to find somewhere open where we could sit down, eat, and unwind before heading back to our hotel. Since it was New Year's Eve, we called ahead, and Gina answered the phone. She told us they were almost done serving food but said, "Come on over, I'm here," which immediately made us feel welcomed. When we arrived, we sat at the bar. It was quiet with a few people there, and the vibe was relaxed and comfortable. Being right on the water was such a nice way to end a long travel day. Rafael was behind the bar, and between the two of them, the service was warm, kind, and genuinely accommodating. I ordered the spicy chicken wings, which were really good, and Ray had the fish and chips, which he enjoyed. I had a double IPA (Pliny), and Ray had a Hefeweizen, which he liked a lot. What really stood out was learning that the wharf, our hotel (The Beachcomber), and several other spots around town are owned by the same people. It explains why the area feels so connected and welcoming -- very much a small, close-knit coastal town. We were able to eat, enjoy ourselves, and still get back to our hotel before midnight. No stress, no rush -- just a really nice New Year's Eve experience. Wegotschwag on TikTok

Very tender but super dry lamb shank. Not much taste.

Asked for a table by the window and the waitress rudely snapped " I can't guarantee anything, you get what's available". Geesh, can you be kinder and say I'll see what I can do" or if you don't mind waiting, we can clean some tables by the window." Not a great way to start. Prices are astronomical and the food just wasn't memorable. They add on fees/tips to your bill automatically but they don't tell you or have signs posted anywhere. Our waitress was not very attentive and kept forgetting things.

It's very good! I honestly don't know why it's 3.5 out of 5. I got the cioppino and it is packed with seafood. The broth is absolutely delicious! My strawberry margarita is fantastic and my boyfriend loved his salmon. 10/10 definitely recommend. Service is great and the place is clean. Only thing is that the salmon portion was pretty small for $44

Best view of Noyo Harbor! We were there at sunset and saw seals and sea lions. The food was great - we had the French Dip and Frutti de Mar.

Our view from the bar area.

Got a table in the bar overlooking the harbor as the boats were coming and going. The server was friendly but not overly attentive. Tried the fish taco-beer battered. It seemed a little one note. However, the ceviche with fresh bay shrimp and home made tortilla chips was absolutely stunning. Very fresh tasting and colors were vibrant. I'm still thinking about it two days later! Go for the views and ceviche.

Pricey but delicious. Staff was friendly and made sure our large party of nine was taken care of. Food was fresh and took a reasonable time for as much as we ordered. Outdoor and indoor seating available and dog friendly. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a nice sit down dinner with a view

Do they still serve Prime Rib on Fridays and Saturdays?

    Yes they do.

Is it true that they charge non-locals an extra fee? A customer at work work today claimed they did?

A fee for being a non local? No, they don't I believe that is an old wives tale. While it's a small town we thrive on tourism so it would be a black eye.

Are dogs allowed in the outdoor restaurant area?

Yes. Dogs are allowed in the outdoor patio area.

    Is there a happy hour?

Don't know check web site. Sorry

    How is the service?

The service we experienced was awesome! Our waitress was friendly, professional and gracious. We'll definitely go back next time we're in town.

I licked all the garlic off of the shell. inside seating. there's also outdoor seating which is under a tent, a bit humid butyou get used to it. the train runs through maybe every 15 mins and it is crazy loud. it commands the whole room's attention, everyone must look at it, because you just cant talk over that loudness. it was fun to wave to some passsngers. the semifreddo dessert was wonderful! a frozen mouse, chocolate flavor with strawberries on top.

Into everyone's life a little fancy restaurant must fall…read more... After a walk along the coast and an appetite has been acquired, it is a short walk to this small fancy restaurant just off of downtown. Upon entering, there is a small initimate bar, dining area and a patio out back for "al fresco" dining. By San Francisco Bay Area city standards, it is not fancy in the luxurious, posh sense, but here, seafood is the star! First up, Oysters Rockefeller appetizer. Frankly, they could have been prepared any which way - for the oyster fan, they were fresh and delicious! The salmon was good (although a bit overcooked, the waiter didn't ask how it should be cooked). The salmon came perched atop garlic mashed potatoes that were out of this world! The scallops were so fresh and tasty and perfectly paired with polenta and farm fresh asparagus! They also feature Northern California (as in North of the San Francisco Bay Area) wines and beers, something not readily found outside Mendocino County. There was no room for dessert, guaranteeing a trip back to get the full-on meal experience! The environment is convivial. On a late May early evening, there were graduation dinners out back on the patio, an intimate shared dinner with drinks going on in the bar, and ladies who dine in the corner. Another unique aspect of this restaurant is that it is very close (as in feet away) from the Mendocino Skunk train. Diners will experience the train horn, warning signals and small tremors caused by the train chugging by at any time during their meal. There are also people working out on pedal bikes (yes *on* the tracks) to get exercise on their tour of the redwoods in Mendocino! It added to the ambience as an "only in Fort Bragg" experience! We had a great meal and will be going back!

We had dinner at Petite Percebes/Good Bones on a trip to the Mendocino area in April…read more The service was pleasant and friendly, the space felt comfortable with both tables and couches (no live music at the time we visited), and everything we ate was delicious and nicely presented! Our favorites were: + Broiled oysters with bone marrow butter, Parmesan crema, and breadcrumb: although I'm not usually a huge fan of oysters, I did enjoy these particular ones! + Lemon cream pie with tangerine, lemon curd, brown butter graham, citrus marigold Chantilly: we split one slice of this pie, but I could've eaten a few more slices of the pie by myself (if my stomach had space left). Perfect ending to the meal. + Primavera panisse: crispy chickpea fritters topped with a variety of greens and flower petals. + Yuzu marigold kombucha (Wilder x Petite Percebes collaboration): this was a refreshing, lightly sweet complement to the heavier dishes of the meal. We also tried the cassoulet (which had roasted chicken thigh, Roundman's garlic sausage, pork belly, Heirloom beans - a heartier meaty dish); and the potato chowder with oyster mushrooms, spring greens, and wild nettle pistou (we loved the mushrooms in it). This spot is worth stopping by!

Loved visiting Good Bones! A hidden little gem among the coast…read more I visited on a Sunday morning with a small group of friends for a quick bite to eat before we headed off for a hike. Inside was huge! Giant bar, tons of tables for dining, along with a stage where it looked like they hosted live music! We ordered our meals up at the front counter and took a seat in the dining area. I ordered a Golden State Mighty Dry cider and their grilled cheese sandwich with added caramelized onions and mushrooms. We were the only people inside, but food came out quick. Everyone was a huge fan of their meals. I loved my sandwich, the bread was absolutely delicious. Also was a huge fan of those mushrooms they used! We ended up leaving with a fresh baked loaf of bread when we left too for home. Service was great, food was on point, and loved the vibe they had going. Would love to come back to see some music one of these days.
