My mom and I came here a couple of times during our trip to Fort Bragg. We were seated pretty quickly and both times we were able sit next to the window to see the beach. The food was pretty good. We had gotten drinks that were pretty good as well. The inside of the restaurant was pretty nice. Both the waiters that we had were nice. We had a pretty good experience here.

Beautiful views of the bay, not a bad seat in the house! Ahi tartare was so good, as was the clam chowder. Espresso martini 10/10, extra creamy! Irish coffee was more baileys than whiskey, but otherwise great experience.

The Noyo River Grill was my final stop in Fort Bragg. This is Walt from Walt's Adventures. This restaurant by the shore has a wonderful indoor and bar dining area. They do have an outdoor dining area because the two picnic tables are, in fact, outside. However, I doubt the indoor patrons experienced the joy of the waves coming forth accompanied by the calming, periodic sound of a light house. The meals all possessed great presentations. The Noyo Burger was ok while both the Creamy Garlic Chicken and the Fettuccine Noodles were devoured. The Flan dessert was wonderful. The Sticky Toffee Cake, for my tastes was a bit dry but was highly accepted by my daughter. Noyo River Grill has 4 of 5 stars in my eyes for they ended my Northern trip with satisfaction.

Walking distance from our hotel this was a god sent after 280 miles of twisting roads on a motorcycle, live music, food was amazing and so was the staff, the crab pasta was delicious and so where the drinks.

    Combo platter, ceviche appetizer, cioppino

Food was wonderful. Combo seafood platter. Excellent seasoning on the breading, not greasy & right breading to seafood raito. Cioppino was wonderful, lots of mussels, Yum. Shrimp & scallops not overcooked, lots of garlic. Only disappointment was that it was not crab season!

View is amazing. Beer on draft is always good. Food is okay. Should have skip the dessert menu we had to put in a request for . You can tell the differences in service attentiveness based on appearance. *Sometimes the ghetto looking dude tips better......

Noyo River Grill is a wonderful stop. The food was delicious, the staff was super friendly, and the seafood selection was awesome. Everything was very clean, and the beautiful hillside views made the experience even better. Glad we stopped by!

We were in town doing a quick New Years trip and decided to try this place out. We made reservations in advance as we were not sure how seating or the wait would be on a holiday week. We were seated in the lower dining area right in front of a window. The views are beautiful overlooking the ocean inlet and the restaurant seating is tiered so there isn't really a bad place to sit. We shared the chowder to start and then we each ordered an entree. We had the crab pasta and the cod piccata with risotto that was delicious. They were pretty busy but the server was attentive and our food came within a reasonable time after the starter. They had some live music upstairs in the bar area. Overall when we visit again we would definitely be back.

We saw this restaurant when driving by and decided to come back for dinner, and were not disappointed! Beautiful restaurant positioned overlooking the river and ocean, couldn't have better views. Food is pretty amazing as well, we liked both of our dishes and had nothing to complain about. Service was great. We would definitely come back Next time we're passing through Fort Bragg!

Food choices were plentiful with lots of options, fried and otherwise. The ambience was comfortable, outside of the family with rambunctious kids. The view was nice of the river harbor. The service was attentive and friendly. Would definitively recommend.

Hubby and I came here for lunch on our wedding anniversary. Biggest regret and waste of $100+ on food. We began with appetizers- a bowl of clam chowder and steamed clams & muscles. Those were standard and almost impossible to mess up. For our entrees, I ordered the seafood Alfredo and he ordered fish tacos with a side salad. The actual pasta and sauce was decent, but smothered in shredded cheese and contained spoiled fish. It smelled and tasted like ammonia which is no surprise cause fish does contain trimethylamine oxide. Basically, the fish wasn't fresh or properly stored. I immediately spat it out. My husband's grilled fish tacos were no better. The vegetables in his salad were also wilted and slimy. We didn't even bother complaining because after years of working in food and hospitality, I know exactly what happens when you do. I do not recommend this restaurant at all.

This drink was great. Highly recommend

My husband got a brisket special and I had the halibut, then we shared the pot be crème for dessert. The Wait: We sat for over 20 minutes before receiving water or placing our order. It took at least another 30 minutes for our very first dish to arrive. The Food: The steamer clams were overly salty and full of sand. One of the oysters was also shockingly tiny. When we pointed this out, the waitress claimed extra oysters had been added to the shells, but we did not see any evidence of that. The Service: Basic service was missing. We never received water refills, and our empty shell plates were never cleared, leaving a massive pile of clutter on the table. The Bill & Gratuity: A 20% gratuity was automatically added because we were a party of 6 (5 adults and a baby). After we expressed our dissatisfaction, the waitress did remove the automatic charge and said sorry that we didn't like the food. However, her apology felt insincere and making it clear she was mostly upset about losing part of her tip. We still left a 12% tip out of courtesy, but given the combination of poorly prepared food and unattentive service, we will not be returning.

It's right behind the Sea Bird lodge sign and next to Chevron. Once you found it you can't miss it. From what we can see there is no signage on the restaurant with the name on it or we totally missed it. It's not a new restaurant. It's got that homey feel to it. I'm guessing it's a mom and pop shop, a small business. And we should support those local all businesses and not hit up Dennys if we can. We waked in at 7:08an in Wednesday, May 6, 2026. The place was quiet. One others gentleman was there. When we left a party of 3 were just settling in. They have a full menu two sided that they hand out upon entry that is laminated. You are welcome to sit anywhere. We chose a window seat in the front corner. The temperature was pleasant inside and I was able to shed my heavy jacket and was comfortable in my jeans and a light sweater. They have 2 whiteboards of additional specials. We got the bacon, cheese, and bacon omelet with a side of potato's and a biscuit. You have choices of toast, pancake, or biscuit. As for potatoes you could have gotten a potato patty instead. The servings were huge. We only ate half and were full. Now we have leftovers for tomorrow's breakfast. The potatoes were real fresh potatoes. Some still had the sling on them. They were cooked on the griddle. I should have asked for mine extra crispy as I like crispy potatoes. They weren't salty or really seasoned at all so I added some salt and paired it with ketchup. Very tasty. The omelette was chuck full of crispy bacon and avocado , it could have used more cheese. The biscuit was light and flaky, but it lacked the buttery flavor. It was a true big biscuit that was home made. There was an array of jams and jellies to choose from and peanut butter. We chose apricot. Overall it was a good breakfast and I highly Reccomend this place if your hotel doesn't offer a free breakfast like ours didn't. It was also nice that we could walk over from our hotel.

A salad would have been a nice touch with it, but it was a good meal. The sandwiches were ok. The lettuce for it was wilted from being under a heat lamp. The sauce with it lacked flavor, we were expecting a chipotle spicier sauce. It appeared to be a thousand island tartar sauce creation. It was good though. We arrived around 4:30 or so and seated in the main dining room with a window seat. Our server offered us fresh bread and butter, (not would you like to order) which we were charged $3. Pretty sneaky. Ok, place was recently renovated so not a surprise. We ordered Halibut fish and chips. Menu said it came with a salad. We decided to share the dish and ordered a side salad as well. We did enjoy the Harbor view as we waited for our food. First off the temp of the fish was slightly above warm. They advertise the breading as "beer battered" then rolled in panko. There was nothing light and airy or flavorful about the breading, matter of fact there was no flavor at all. My sister equated the fish to being pulled out of the freezer and tossed into the fryer. The salad was an average salad, nothing memorable about the taste. We also realized there was no Chips to "Fish and chips". When we asked our server she said we didn't get "chips" because we had salad. That was not the description of the dish on the menu but I wasn't going to press the matter because We didn't need the extra tasteless calories. The only thing that made this meal was the great view, not the food. The service was average.
