    Ginger Blood Orange Mocktail
    Cindi B.

Had brunch here this morning. Loved their Eggs Benedict with Salmon! The eggs were cooked perfectly and the layers of mushroom, spinach and hollandaise were delicious! I also enjoyed their mocktail made with blood orange juice and ginger ale. They topped the drink with freeze dried cranberries! Nice touch! The yacht harbor view was great too!

Came for lunch & the food was great, the chef are amazing cooks! Only downside is the service, friendly servers just slow and don't check in on you.

If you don't mind spending a little more cash then come here. Great view of the harbor which is filled with seals, boats and kayakers. The view is amazing. The food is too notch as well. I got the brunch menu and had the breakfast quesadilla which was packed with heavenly fresh ingredients. The food came out super hot and amazing. The alcoholic drinks you can for brunch were also mind blowing. I got the Long Island Iced Coffee which whoa, this saved my life after the day before being my birthday. I also got the Orange Blossom Coffee which is not going to be a staple in my house after being sooooo good.

Harbor View Bistro & Bar - Breakfast Review Another amazing morning at Harbor View Bistro & Bar. The breakfast here continues to impress every single time. The food is consistently excellent--fresh, flavorful, and served hot. The service is top-notch as well; the staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel genuinely welcome. And of course, the views... absolutely unbeatable. Enjoying a great meal while overlooking the harbor is hard to beat and adds something special to the whole experience. I truly can't recommend this eatery enough. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Harbor View Bistro & Bar should be at the top of your list for a fantastic breakfast. Very dog friendly!

    Fresh Crab Cakes (Special)

HarborView is a great spot in the Fort Bragg's area to enjoy a nice dinner. It was a bit difficult to find from the main road but I loved that the patio overlooks the harbor. They offer everything from lunch, happy hour, and dinner. We didn't have a reservation but had no difficulties getting seated inside. We started with the Rose Lemon Drop and Honeybee French 75. Which they were both on the acidic side, the flavors were good and balanced. I loved the presentation of my martini! I later also got the Candy Cap Old Fashioned which tasted like your standard Old Fashioned (note the branded ice cube though!). For food, we shared the Fresh Crab Cakes on special and the Gnocchi Alfredo. The Crab Cakes were fresh and came with a mango sauce and slaw. The Gnocchi dish was very large and had good flavor from the sauce, mushrooms, and meat. This was certainly perfect to share! My only note was that servers could be more attentive. It took some time before being checked in on, water glasses fell empty, and we asked for bread to pair with the pasta that never came. The staff was very kind upon interaction but slow otherwise.

Best hot toddy I've ever had. Come here every year. Always a beautiful view. Giving it five stars and I haven't even had my dinner yet. Staff is always kind and accommodating.

Came for my birthday - unable to secure a room so we stayed around the corner and came here for dinner - had a reservation, thankfully, got a lovely table outside with a lovely view. The food was delicious as well, thank goodness because it is a bit pricey - we enjoyed our fancy cocktails and appreciated the available blankets when a little breeze came up. When in Fort Bragg, do not miss this place!

Best happy hour and excellent service. I recommend the ribs, Brussel sprouts, and the pizza.

    November 6, 2024 - Brunch Menu.

November 6, 2024 I've been to HarborView Bistro & Bar 3 times now, and I have always been pleased with the food and service. The harbor view is an added plus. On this visit, we arrived about 1:30 after a long drive. We had to wait a few minutes at the hostess stand before we were seated. But once we were seated, service was quick and friendly. I started with one of the speciality seasonal cocktails: the Spiced Pear Martini. So good, and pretty to look at, too. For lunch I had the Avocado Quinoa Salad ($19) -- Rainbow quinoa topped with mangoes. fresh salad, feta cheese in a lemon vinaigrette set on a bed of fresh avocados. I enjoyed every bite. Fresh and delicious. This has become one of our go-to stops when we are in the Mendocino/Fort Bragg area. Definitely recommend.

everything here never ceases to delight the senses. The grounds and the structure are fabulous. The service is fantastic and the food and drinking amazing. Top marks to the mixed knowledge is for some original recipes. The eggs Benedict with salmon and mushrooms are to die for

    Eggs Benedict with crab

I strongly recommend this restaurant for brunch. We arrived at 10, sat out in the patio overlooking the harbor. The view is spectacular and the food was excellent. I had the eggs Benedict substituting crab for the ham. It was delicious. My traveling companions both had the French toast. They both enjoyed it. The coffee was really good, too. We would go back in a heart beat. Friendly service, good food, great view, what else do you need?

    Happy hour food?

Yes, it's a small selection but everything is very tasty and portions are large

Is there a vegetarian choice on the menu?

Yes, every time I've been there there has Ben at least one vegetarian option, and possibly more. I know there is also always a fish option

From what we can see there is no signage on the restaurant with the name on it or we totally missed it. It's not a new restaurant. It's got that homey feel to it. I'm guessing it's a mom and pop shop, a small business. And we should support those local all businesses and not hit up Dennys if we can. We waked in at 7:08an in Wednesday, May 6, 2026. The place was quiet. One others gentleman was there. When we left a party of 3 were just settling in. They have a full menu two sided that they hand out upon entry that is laminated. You are welcome to sit anywhere. We chose a window seat in the front corner. The temperature was pleasant inside and I was able to shed my heavy jacket and was comfortable in my jeans and a light sweater. They have 2 whiteboards of additional specials. We got the bacon, cheese, and bacon omelet with a side of potato's and a biscuit. You have choices of toast, pancake, or biscuit. As for potatoes you could have gotten a potato patty instead. The servings were huge. We only ate half and were full. Now we have leftovers for tomorrow's breakfast. The potatoes were real fresh potatoes. Some still had the sling on them. They were cooked on the griddle. I should have asked for mine extra crispy as I like crispy potatoes. They weren't salty or really seasoned at all so I added some salt and paired it with ketchup. Very tasty. The omelette was chuck full of crispy bacon and avocado , it could have used more cheese. The biscuit was light and flaky, but it lacked the buttery flavor. It was a true big biscuit that was home made. There was an array of jams and jellies to choose from and peanut butter. We chose apricot. Overall it was a good breakfast and I highly Reccomend this place if your hotel doesn't offer a free breakfast like ours didn't. It was also nice that we could walk over from our hotel.

We asked if the fish and chips could be made into have fish half shrimp, which they did. The food came out quickly and was hot, but the flavor of all the food from the fryer oil was way off. It tasted like burnt peanut oil, just gross. The fish was the only semi tasty item in my opinion. The soup was gritty and thick, and the banana pie had a bland fluffy stale tasting crust. Again, we didn't expect much from this deli but ya never know and our chance of a tasty snack was a fail. I'd give 4 stars for service and 1 star for food.
