Came here for breakfast before riding the Skunk Train nearby. The place is tiny and we were seated at a small table, but it's good we got there when we did because it was starting to really pick up. The Wizard of Oz decorations throughout are pretty cool especially if you're a fan. The Biscuits and Gravy was really good and made from scratch. The over-medium eggs and bacon were also delicious. And the country potatoes were perfect. Nice crips on the outside but still fluffy potato inside. Wifey enjoyed her scrambled egg breakfast. One of Fort Bragg's best spots for breakfast. I'd suggest getting there as early as possible especially on weekends since the restaurant is small and gets packed quickly. But either way you will enjoy the food!

Came across Egghead's on Yelp. Decided to give a try. The food was pretty good. The staff was really nice. Love The Wizard of Oz theme. The food was pretty good. Will definitely be coming back on the next trip to Fort Bragg.

Great food and pleasant service. Little longer wait but it is worth it to wait. I will definitely come back .

On previous trips we have chosen Eggheads and normally on a weekend when the line is out the door. Today though, on a quiet Wednesday we went right in and sat immediately. The decor is Wizard of Oz themed and done quite well. Ok, on to the food.... My wife had the grilled smoked turkey w/ mushrooms, quite tasty and huge! I opted for the Corned Beef Hash/ Not Hash as per the menu. Great plate of corned beef, fresh red potatoes and onions. Great flavor, but regrettably the corned beef was tough and very chewy. In my opinion it needed another hour in pan. Otherwise a great meal.

Cool breakfast joint with cute decor and the names of menu items aligned with the "wizard of oz" theme. The place is small, so seating is limited and a bit crammed. We were quoted a 25 minute wait to be seated on a Sunday morning, it actually took 35 minutes, luckily they text your phone so we were able to walk around downtown while waiting for our table to be ready. When we were finally seated, service was excellent. We got the spanish oz omelette, and uncle henry's farmhand favorite with eggs cooked overeasy and added patty sausage (they have several different options for sausage). All of our items were savory and delish, the potatoes a bit on the salty side but our dishes as a whole not bad at all.

We took our chances on trying to get a table at this local gem. Most days there is a long line to get a table. We only had a 15 min wait and walked to a few shops while we waited. We received a text before the 15 minute estimate. All tables were full and the servers were super busy. We ordered the two egg combo, the 1/4 pumpkin waffle and the eggs Benedict. We really wanted the biscuits and gravy but you have to get there early before they run out. All is made fresh each day and due to popularity they do run out. No biggie since everything we had was so flavorful and well worth trying. Our only regret is that we didn't order a full serving of the pumpkin waffle. It was so good we really wanted more! The decor is Wizard of Oz and super cute. They even have a yellow brick road leading to the restrooms (Emerald City) in back of building. The servers were very friendly and quick to check in with us. Next time we visit I plan to not miss out on the biscuits and gravy!

Eggs Benedict and coffee. Bland boring overpriced. So disappointed it used to be better.

I understand a wait on a holiday weekend. That said after I sat down to wait for 40 minutes in a half empty restaurant for mediocre food (used to be amazing) and to have it served as such on paper plates and to have it cost SF Bay Area prices is a joke. I won't be returning it was that bad.

    Nena B.

Super cute, quaint, small coastal town feel! Worth the wait on the weekends. Staff are all very sweet and accommodating, even when short staffed as we were told initially. It's a tight fit, with not many tables, but still comfortable and inviting. The food is seasoned well and delicious - we had the eggs benedict and the flying monkeys potatoes. The ambiance is traditional diner but with a whimsical fun twist of wizard of Oz themed decor and dish names.

Three people bill. OJ $8!!! Most expensive I've ever paid for breakfast for 3.
    Mike D.

Most expensive breakfast place I've been to. 3 people $98. The extras were definitely way more expensive that I thought. Generally, juices and extra sides are a few bucks but $8 for OJ, $6 for bacon and $3 for sausage what? This place really caught me off guard. And they serve on paper plates. They food took a while. Like a while and there wasn't that many people here. Coffee was meh. I just can't see the justification for such high price. The place is old, the food is ok, service is meh, there's death metal music in the background. What?

    The menu
    Ashley M.

The food was good but the service was meh.. It's a super small edtablishment and if you aren't there early expect and decent wait.. Glad I can check this place off and move on..

Super cute theme carried out here. The staff is friendly and the food was delicious. Smaller dining room but we were able to walk in and sit pretty quickly with 2 people. Tried the Corned Beef Not-Hash -- amazing!!!

Yesterday was one of those days. The team at Sea Pal Cove invited me in to sample their Valentine's Day special, and let me tell you, they absolutely knocked it out of the park. They're offering a Valentine's meal for two that includes Shrimp Scampi , a calamari appetizer served with their famous chipotle dipping sauce, garlic bread, cheesecake, and two drinks all for $50. Yes, fifty dollars. Add in some of the best views in town, and you're already winning before the first bite. Now, if you know me, you know I don't play small when it comes to food. I brought along my friend Johnny Ramey, who knows his way around a plate as well as anyone I trust. Portion size alone left us both full, but more importantly, every dish delivered on flavor. The shrimp scampi was rich and satisfying, the calamari was perfectly cooked, and that chipotle sauce deserves its own fan club. Dessert sealed the deal, and the drinks paired nicely with a view that reminds you why we live here. Great food, generous portions, fair pricing, and a setting that does half the talking for you. If you're looking for a Valentine's dinner that feels special without feeling overpriced or pretentious, Sea Pal Cove nailed it. This is one of those meals that reminds you how lucky we are to have spots like this right in our own harbor.

We did enjoy the Harbor view as we waited for our food. First off the temp of the fish was slightly above warm. They advertise the breading as "beer battered" then rolled in panko. There was nothing light and airy or flavorful about the breading, matter of fact there was no flavor at all. My sister equated the fish to being pulled out of the freezer and tossed into the fryer. The salad was an average salad, nothing memorable about the taste. We also realized there was no Chips to "Fish and chips". When we asked our server she said we didn't get "chips" because we had salad. That was not the description of the dish on the menu but I wasn't going to press the matter because We didn't need the extra tasteless calories. The only thing that made this meal was the great view, not the food. The service was average.
