I loved how they make a good Asian x Mexican fusion and the examples are their signature coconut prawns and Thai burrito. Sauce is the highlight of everything and they perfectly mixed everything altogether in the burritos. Didn't actually like the only protein option for Thai burrito is prawns as a vegetarian. Uhm, this was just okay. Definitely a tourist trap that preys on "foodies" looking for something a little different on vacation. We ordered the Mayan dip, papatzul, and it was the highlight of our meal. My husband was astounded by the $15 price tag on a few ounces of dip surrounded by housemade tortilla chips that definitely could have come from a bag, ngl. It was pretty interesting and flavorful, but definitely was not good value. I ordered the Mayan tamales and was severely disappointed. Other than being wrapped in a banana leaf instead of a corn husk, this was your average to mediocre tamale. Also I ordered the rajas tamal, one with cheese and one with chicken. I guess I should have known that both are rajas, the chicken one just comes with a handful of (average) chicken tinga on top. My husband ordered the fried cod sandwich which was fine. We've never seen a slice of bread that large, but overall, it was a pretty basic sandwich. Good but not special. Overall, I would definitely skip this place. Try something better! read more

We came here based on the Yelp reviews and so glad we did! We tried the Caesar salad and the roasted tomatoes dip. Both were good! For the meals, we tried the chicken mole, which was less smoky and more on the sweeter side, but good. Served with rice and beans, both of which were yummy. We also had the bowl with chicken, cheese, rice, and beans. Quite flavorful!! And the last entree was my favorite, it was the grilled fish tacos. Also served with rice and black beans. The prickly pear margarita was yummy! If we weren't so full, we would have tried the flan or the flourless chocolate cake. Highly recommend this place for the food. Dinner with friends here while in town recently. We had reservations for 7:30 and were greeted while walking in and seated within the same moment. Heavy wood interior, a smaller place is intimate and cozy. Our server was kind and professional, brought our menus while greeting us, and took drink orders to get us going. Returning with our drinks, got our evenings entrees placed with no order pad for notes. I went with the Halibut over rice, and it was very good to excellent, a nice presentation and great flavors. A solid choice for a great meal if you like fresh seafood. Came here Wednesday evening, and it wasn't busy at all. We got sat by the windows which was nice, but there was a big plant between our table and another which obstructed your view and in the way of you need to get by. Our waitress was nice, but was gone quite a bit for how busy it wasn't. I got the NY Steak which was tender and juicy, but no flavor. The mashed potatoes were good, but still lumpy. And the veggies were what they were. My wife liked her fish & chips, but thought the batter was just okay. The fries did what they did, and the coleslaw was alright. I was scolded by my server for not leaving a tip. When I went to the register to pay my check they intentionally had no change hoping I would just give my change away, then acted like I was inconveniencing them because they had to go to the back to get change instead of having it at the register. We were recommended to try this place while staying in Fort Bragg for the night, and it ended up being one of the most flavorful meals we had in the area. We started with the zucchini, which was lightly breaded, not too oily, and super flavorful. We also got the nachos -- the melted cheese on top was good, but the guac really stood out. Definitely a great dish to share. I ordered the Chicken Chile Verde Enchiladas, which were honestly more like tacos than enchiladas, but the verde salsa was really delicious. It came with a side of rice and beans, and the portions were huge. Prices were also pretty reasonable for how much food you get. The margaritas were nice and strong and the food was just delicious. We shared the Mayan style shrimp ceviche (very fresh and bright), Caesar salad (the fried capers were a treat), Traditional Cochinita Pibli (devoured) and special off-menu seafood chili relleno (it really worked well with vegetable sides). My partner and I went out to Mayan Fusion as we love going to this place whenever we are in town. I was saddened to learn that they had discontinued their Mayan Fusion version of clam chowder, which I had fallen in love with. The server said that no one ordered it, and always requested the traditional variety. Our table got the Ceviche (octopus and shrimp) and Papatzul dip appetizers as well as the Grilled Pock Chuc, Cioppino, and the Chile Relleno special as mains. Finished it off with lava cake with spicy chocolate ice cream and horchata cheesecake for dessert. The ceviche was cooked well with a great texture while the dip was warm with the perfect amount of spice and heat. We all loved the Cioppino - the broth is flavorful and creamy but not heavy. The Pock Chuc was well seasoned and moist. The special was delightful and served with mashed potatoes that were delicious. Definitely recommend you stop by to try them for yourself.
