Enjoyed a Cinco de Mayo dinner here tonight! The tacos were delicious and my husband loved the Chile Relleno. The service was fast, friendly and efficient. I really recommend this place!

Came here for lunch with my Nana. Drinks: 5/5 * Starry * Coke Food: * Brazilian seafood stew: 5/5 They don't usually serve this for lunch. But the chef was nice enough to make it when I requested it. Gracias, chef... I dream of this stew. It is a coconut milk base stew, with local rock cod, shrimp, scallops, calamari, vegetables and rice. I ordered mine extra spicy. I like spice :) It's as delicious as I remembered it... It is the stew by which all brazilian seafood stews will be compared... * Chicken caesar salad: 5/5 The caesar salad was very fresh. It has romaine lettuce, house made croutons, parmesan cheese, and house made dressing. The chicken was hot, tender and juicy. Ambiance: 5/5 Simple vibe. Latin artwork fill the walls. I like how quiet it is inside. No TV's, no music... Service: 5/5 You can sit wherever you like as you enter. The service was impeccable. Karina was our waitress. She greeted us with a smile, refilled our drinks without us asking, timed our food well (allowed us to enjoy our appetizer before the main courses were served). She was wonderful from beginning to end. Thank you, Karina :) Good food, great service and relaxing ambiance. We will definitely be back when in Fort Bragg...

Wow this was some delicious Mexican food. We liked it so much we went both nights. I thought this was fairly solid Mexican food. I'm an expert and everything from the beans to the meat was delicious. I didn't try the seafood but I saw others eating it. The service was very kind and friendly. A great selection of beers too. The place was a cute one not far from the harbor. I'd recommend this heartily if you visit fort Bragg, I don't think you're regret it

Shrimp tacos plate for $19 plus $5 to make it grilled under the guise of there being "more shrimp". Where are these extra shrimp?
    Evie B.

They charged us $10 to grill our shrimp on our tacos instead of fried, and the owner sitting at the bar hollered out to us and said they up charge for that, and the reason they up charge is because there is more shrimp in a taco when you get it grilled vs. fried. "There is a loss of volume in the taco so the chef must add more shrimp" so, only one taco had four shrimp and the other two had 3. So, I got one extra shrimp for $5 and so did my friend for an additional $5. So either the tacos normally come with two, or three shrimp? I never got a straight answer, and the server had no idea how many tacos came on the plate. It is partly her responsibility to know those things but I completely blame management for poor training and mismanagement of consistency. No wonder this place is always empty.

Today I was blessed with a lunch at this spot in #visitnoyoharbor. On the advice of my friend I chose this weeks special the Black Cod blackened, chosen on the advice of a friend. This fabulous dish combined perfectly cooked broccoli, fabulous rice, a gigantic amount of black cod mixed harmoniously with a Romesco Sauce. We have amazing food on the coast and I've tried some dishes that moved me... none more than this one. The atmosphere is awesome, warm and inviting with a staff that is friendly as well as knowledgeable. It was the perfect lunch.

Both kinds of fish tacos we great, as were the oysters. Ordered to-go and ate at the beach at the end of the road.

This place was recommended by a local and we absolutely loved it! Waiter was nice and on top of getting us our food and drinks. For a small town, this local Mexican restaurant provides the best service. We ordered the trio deep fried plate. For dessert we ordered the chocolate lava cake and apple-huckleberry pie, all made with local ingredients! Absolutely recommend for everyone!

We ordered the Mayan dip, papatzul, and it was the highlight of our meal. My husband was astounded by the $15 price tag on a few ounces of dip surrounded by housemade tortilla chips that definitely could have come from a bag, ngl. It was pretty interesting and flavorful, but definitely was not good value. I ordered the Mayan tamales and was severely disappointed. Other than being wrapped in a banana leaf instead of a corn husk, this was your average to mediocre tamale. Also I ordered the rajas tamal, one with cheese and one with chicken. I guess I should have known that both are rajas, the chicken one just comes with a handful of (average) chicken tinga on top. My husband ordered the fried cod sandwich which was fine. We've never seen a slice of bread that large, but overall, it was a pretty basic sandwich. Good but not special. Overall, I would definitely skip this place. Try something better!

We loved the atmosphere which they have live music playing! Our server was very kind and gave us recommendations. We were able to split and share a Cesar salad and they gave two plates to share which was kind instead of one big plate and we appreciated that. I give 4/5 stars for the quality of the food only because I felt the spaghetti noodles were a little salty along with the sauce being salty. I love love love spaghetti and this was the first time I've been to an Italian restaurant and felt something was salty because I'm never one to complain. It could have been an off day but from the time we ordered to the actual dinner entrees to come took more than 20 minutes and it wasn't too crowded. Also, we ordered cannolis and the shell didn't seem crunchy/fresh but the flavor was there and the texture of the ricotta was smooth! For a couple who ordered 2 appetizers , two main entrees, one bottle of red wine , and two cannolis to share, we spent about 200 which was a little bit pricier than we usual experience at a typical Italian restaurant so just a heads up. Otherwise, this is a good place for fine dining in the area with nice staff and good portion food

We were in the mood for pasta/italian. Okay....I wasn't…read moregoing to write a review this time because small towns and local restaurants need to survive so I didn't take any photos. I was just expecting decent. But I think what's unsettling is the price point so here is what we thought so you can make your own decision. I had a starter, the PAN SEARED DAY BOAT SCALLOPS. With this dish you get 3 scallops. I imagined typical-sized scallops but these were super small, about the size of a quarter (coin). The sauce and fennel salad tasted fine but for price I was imagining bigger. I think these were $24. The scallops were not that "fresh off the boat" taste, but edible. For price, I would say $18 at most. To be fair. The pasta with marinara was decent, but for boxed pasta and most likely canned sauce, $30 is a bit much to ask. We Asked for extra Parmesan cheese, instead of freshly shredded at the table, it came in a dish. That's more about being an Italian restaurant than cost. But to far, $20-$22, with fresh Parmesan! Not $30. We also ordered a mixed green salad, which was more like a side salad for 1. Again overpriced. The waiter said it was enough for 2 but it's not that big! Maybe 1 person eats and the 2nd person gets 2 bites. We did like the dressing. So in the end, the food was just okay (not fresh) but what made it all hard to swallow was the price point for quality ratio. Big city prices. $100, for 2. ;a plate of pasta, a starter, 1 salad, & 2 glasses of wine).
