If I could have eaten burgers and fries for four days I would have, that is how delicious the meal was. The service was stellar, and attentive. We decided to sit indoors and the seating was a trip in the past rather nostalgic . We both had the giant cheeseburger and fries. we had different condiments on our burgers and they got the orders correct. The meat was flavorful and had the amount of greasy you expect on a good burger. The french fries were crunchy on the outside with a soft interior. There were those extra crunchy pieces at the bottom of the fries. My sister had a chocolate milkshake which was not too thick to get thru the straw, nice chocolate flavor. This will always be our go to spot when we are in Fort Bragg.

The staff seemed busy but efficient. Burgers were generously sized and tasty, with lettuce, tomato, red onion. Small eating space inside but we ate outside at one of the several picnic tables. Side note: My mom once broke her leg while on vacation in the area and had to spend some time in the hospital here. Maybe 30 years ago? Jenny was her roomate and kept sending her visitors to visit my mom too. She knew she didnt know anyone in the area. Very sweet!

Yesterday was one of those days. The team at Sea Pal Cove invited me in to sample their Valentine's Day special, and let me tell you, they absolutely knocked it out of the park. They're offering a Valentine's meal for two that includes Shrimp Scampi , a calamari appetizer served with their famous chipotle dipping sauce, garlic bread, cheesecake, and two drinks all for $50. Yes, fifty dollars. Add in some of the best views in town, and you're already winning before the first bite. Now, if you know me, you know I don't play small when it comes to food. I brought along my friend Johnny Ramey, who knows his way around a plate as well as anyone I trust. Portion size alone left us both full, but more importantly, every dish delivered on flavor. The shrimp scampi was rich and satisfying, the calamari was perfectly cooked, and that chipotle sauce deserves its own fan club. Dessert sealed the deal, and the drinks paired nicely with a view that reminds you why we live here. Great food, generous portions, fair pricing, and a setting that does half the talking for you. If you're looking for a Valentine's dinner that feels special without feeling overpriced or pretentious, Sea Pal Cove nailed it. This is one of those meals that reminds you how lucky we are to have spots like this right in our own harbor.

It is chunkier than what I am used too, but also delicious. They dont skimp on the portion of it!

And we're so glad we did. I had my doubts about this as all seating is outside and it's a little chilly out. As it turns out you eat in a tent with lots of heaters. I'm surprised the tent doesn't melt as it's so warm in there. I was happily impressed with the seating. There is lots of seating. There is also some seating on the deck without heaters and there were still people eating out there. There are mostly picnic tables you sit at snd share with other families. It's not shoulder to shoulder. There is a big gap between parties. So it was really comfortable. Their specialty is fish tacos, either grilled or fried. Most people got the tacos, next was the fish and chips and that is what we got. A basket includes chips and 3 large pieces of fish. The fish is very generous. We really enjoyed the fish and chips. The fish was moist and crispy perfect. And it was fresh and didn't taste fishy. The fries were crispy like I like them. The cup on clam chowder was the perfect size. It was creamy and full of clams and potatoes. This was the perfect size meal for two adults. They have a water cooler and cups for a self serve water station near the silverware. I recommend this restaurant to everyone and I'd come back again.

I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala Platter, Hummus and Pita, and a Mango Lassi, and it genuinely brought the taste of home back! I even enjoyed a short chat with one of the staff, while I waited for my food It's not a big place, but that's part of its charm..just a cozy, no-frills spot with two or three tables for anyone who wants to dine in. The hummus was nothing like the bland, store-bought kind. It was fresh, smooth, and well balanced. The mango lassi was also spot on: not overly yellow, not too thick, and not overly sweet, just right Finding good halal food while traveling can be hit or miss, but this is easily the best halal place in town. I'll absolutely be back the next time I'm in Fort Bragg!

Overall, portion sizes especially the amount of protein in the dishes were a little disappointing, but they certainly deliver on Thai flavors when you're craving it. Koa Soi Chang Mai Curry Egg Noodle Soup (4/5): Egg noodles have a satisfying chew to them with some extra fried noodles over top to add a bit of crunch. Soup was savory, but I just wanted all the flavors to be amped up more (more tang! more spice!). Fantastic option for a rainy and / or sick day though! Panang Curry w/ Pork (3.5/5): Pork was a bit overcooked and chewy, but thinly sliced enough to not be a problem. Plenty of vegetables, but a little sparse on the pork unfortunately. The curry itself had great flavor: great balance of sweet, creamy, and savory across the spices and coconut. However, the curry ran very thin and ate more like a soup. Angel Wings (3.5/5): Chicken was juicy and tender, but there was no crunch on the outside and the skin was still the soft / slightly slimy texture. The sauce is a great sweet and salty combo. The side salad wasn't the freshest, but they aren't the star anyways.
