We would recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit downtown Seattle. PERFECT LOCATION!!! It met our needs. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The bed and linens were THE BEST. I slept we'll all 3 nights and that is so rare. We reserved the Modern King Room and it was a king. The staff was friendly and super helpful. It is in the middle of all the major sites! Easy access to EVERYTHING. When we come back we will probably stay here again! The rooms are small, but we got that impression when we read reviews before we booked. The bathroom was small and the light switch was on the outside but behind the door. Also the water never got hot, just warm. Still a great, clean place to stay. Easy access. Friendly people. Can't wait to come back. read more

I usually scan for more plush accommodations when out of town but wanted to let my boyfriend have the reigns... bad choice. The pros: Bed and room were clean Bed was firm and there's options for the pillow type you prefer to sleep with Free beer Central location where everything is pretty walkable Cons: No amenities, not even a coffee pot Small lobby Small rooms Toilet room is separate from shower room Thin walls Loud air conditioner Our view was of a giant machine in an alley Not much of a discount in comparison to better hotels in the area Never offered us the free beer. Had to stumble upon the knowledge. read more

I stayed here since the location was close to work but kinda pricy place to stay. I was shocked how old everything was, paper thin walls, sockets that couldn't hold any plugs, horribly laid out doors so you couldn't exit unless the bathroom and closet doors were both closed. I absolutely loathe blackout shades so either you had no window privacy or you couldn't see when the sun came up. I guess the best perk was the bed was comfortable and the doors where amusing... otherwise yeah skip it unless you don't need to sleep well or just need a bed to crash on. read more

Decided to do a staycation with our fur baby and found hotel Max on Groupon. I was super excited because I read on the website that they were super dog friendly. Even providing us with a bed, bowls, treats, and toys. They even mentioned doggie room service. I was so happy because our dog is apart of the family and we want him to feel comfortable when traveling. We got there and did valet and we loved the lobby and Millers Guild. Once we crammed into the elevator up to our dog friendly floor. We were told all our dog supplies would already be set up in our room, which they weren't. We called down to the desk and someone brought up a bed (that was more of a welcome mat) and one bowl. Seriously?! The bathroom was extremely small and we called to see where the closet dog friendly park for Koda and the front desk had no idea and had to google it for us, which we ended up doing on our own. Thank goodness we brought supplies, just in case. Thankfully the brother in law lived around the corner and we used his doggie area at his apartment. This hotel is good for a one night trip alone for sure but don't bring your pup or family. Definitely gives off the business traveler who doesn't want to break the bank vibe. read more

I pick this hotel because of the points that comes with it through our airline. Upon reading some reviews it has its pros and cons so i just end up booking it and see it for myself. The location is prime. Majority of Seattle's attraction is very walkable from this place which is a pro. Shopping, restaurants, bars are all over the place so there's no need for you to rent a car, unless your planning to go outside the city. The lobby looks so cool with a modern vibe. The receptionist Kate is a doll and very helpful during our check in and out process. Now going to the room. Our first impression is the room is tiny! Everything is so compact and hard to maneuver specially when if you left your things laying around. The chair is so close to the bed and if you don't push it in all the way. The chances of your toes getting bet up is really high. (Trust me, we learned it the hard way.) The bathroom is the same situation, its very tiny and having two people there at the same time is such a pain. Dont even try to open the closet door while somebody is in the bathroom. Because when they open the door it will definitely hit the closet door. It was our first night so I just thought whatever. We're here just to sleep and shower and go in and out. Second night... During our checking in when we got there we were ask if we want to pass the daily housekeeping and get a credit for $10. And then I ask if they can just remove the towels and give us a new one everyday. And the receptionist said yes. So i agreed, what the heck right. After all our touristy that day we got back in the room and all the dirty towels are still on the floor. No new ones. So i called ask for some and they delivered it. And i told them that I want the room to be clean the next day. The lady who answer the phone said that I wont get the $10 credit if I do that, instead just $5. I said thats fine. 3rd night. We got back to the room and its not clean. No new towels and the dirty ones are still on the floor. I called again and I ask for new towels. They delivered it but only one set. I mean come on seriously there's 2 guest staying. I called again and we got the 2nd set. I don't know whats up with this hotel but its so annoying. When we check out we told the receptionist what happen. She waved the fees. Thank God! I dont know if this hotel is worth checking out. I dont mind having a small room but horrible service is just a no no. read more

We stayed here 2 nights specifically because the hotel web site said they had J1772 EV chargers. Their pre-arrival instructions said that we were to inform the front desk upon arrival that we had an EV. I would give this hotel zero stars if we could. There were a litany of issues: * Charging station was empty but already reserved. They said they reserve it for 1 car for 24 hours, so even though it was empty, we could not charge. * No EV or non-EV parking available in their lot. Front desk said to park across the street in a public lot. It was $49 for 24hrs and did not have a charger. (Read some of the other reviews the parking nightmares at this hotel.) * At check-in we were not told the wifi password * They did not tell us that there is coffee available in the morning. I learned this this after walking 2.5 blocks to a coffee shop. * Front desk told me to see about the EV charge spot "after some EV guests check out" at 7:30AM the next morning. Mercifully they had checked out so I was allocated this charging spot for 24 hours. I then discovered after 30 minutes on the phone with ChargePoint that the station was not connected properly so neither I nor they could start charging. (I have a ChargePoint account). ChargePoint said this particular problem was solely the responsibility of the hotel/property manager. Front desk said "sorry" and they would "report it to engineering ". (It did look like the Tesla chargers were working but I cannot verify this.) * ChargePoint said 2021 7th (Amazon HQ) was the closest. I went there; parking is $21/24hrs (half the price of Hotel Max's parking or the lot across the street from the hotel) AND charging is included with the $21 parking fee. * Room was small and weirdly laid out. Heater/AC unit was incredibly noisy * We were warned there is a $22/night "amenity fee". On top of this there was a $100/night damage deposit. * Wifi signal was weak and would sometimes just drop. After checking out I got a promo email of all Provenance hotel properties. Couldn't find anywhere to provide feedback. Although the front desk staff was very nice, this was a terrible experience. We pressed them for compensation and they did agree to wave the $22/night amenity fee. Our sum total of apology was the one "sorry" noted above. DO NOT STAY HERE. read more

Trendy and hipster looking hotel in the heart of downtown Seattle. Decent location. Rooms were pretty big. There was a weird dampness in our room by the elevator in the third floor. But overall the hotel was quiet. Staff was polite. Room decently clean and well kept. Bathroom was a good space. My only complaint is that I left my Fitbit in the room and I called immediately after I checked out to ask if the housekeeping found it. I spoke with the employee working that day and she said she found it and would make a note for me to pick it up. I was leaving for a week long cruise and couldn't be back till the following Friday. When I got back, I went to pick up my tracker and the front desk girl said she couldn't find it in Lost And Found. I said the housekeeper definitely said she found it and would leave it in a secure place for me. The girl said that the housekeeper was on vacation in France and could not be reached and they didn't know where she placed it. She took down my address and said if they found it again, she can mail it. I left and didn't get any response for a couple days. So I emailed the hotel asking for them to look again. Finally the director of housekeeping called and said it was all a big miscommunication...they have it now and will mail it. Ridiculous. Very unprofessional but at least I thought it was fixed... A week later, still haven't received my item.... read more

Very good in general but there are some pretty moderate UX flaws in aggregate that brought Hotel Max down from 4 to 3 stars. Good stuff: -Location is excellent. It's a quick walk to shopping, 10 minute walk to the market. -Hospitality is excellent. When we reserved through booking the price was $300 per night. When we checked in it was $209 per night and the manager happily matched the price. -Beds are warm and comfy. -Happy hour in the lobby everyday. Bad stuff: 1. The rooms are much smaller than I anticipated. Our room could accommodate the king size bed but not much else. 2. The bathrooms are uncomfortably tiny. Can't fit two people simultaneously. Sink is tiny, bathtub is tiny. Shelf space is by way of a 5 foot by 5 inch glass shelf. 3. The windows have draw down blinds not shutters so you can't have privacy and natural light at the same time, not that this is an issue between September - July. 4. The elevators are tiny and uncomfortable. 2 people with roller bags or 3 people without. You also need to enter your key if you want to get to your floor and it isn't clear if you leave it in or pull it out then enter number. 5. The entire hotel smells like the restaurant nextdoor, Miller's Guild. Sure it's cool at first but do you really want your room to smell like smoked meats? Especially if you're staying several nights in a row? Overall a fine hotel if you don't plan on spending much time there. read more

The worst hotel I have ever booked. Smallest hotel ever and I paid for a queen sized modern room. I honestly don't want to give it a two stars but the only why I gave it a two star was because of their friendly customer service. This hotel was built back in the 1920s so keep in mind the rooms are SMALL. This hotel doesn't even come with breakfast accommodations. Would not pay this kind of price for this kind of hotel. Only benefit is due to their location in downtown. read more

If I could give this hotel 0 starts I would. The valet parking is overpriced and not worth the price 55 dollars every day and they take 30 minutes to give you the car. I found some really nice people working at the front desk the last night we got a ride lady cover up in blankets it looked like we had a homeless person taking care of us she was rude and clearly not happy to work accordingly to her the valet was close after 11 when clearly this was not true since we check in 2 days before and they took care of our car a little bit after midnight. She didn't want to help us to open the garage door even tho we pay the 3 days valet parking. Honestly the worst experience ever. read more

This hotel gave me earplugs when the room next to me had a loud party for hours in the night to the morning.......

I was not a guest. I dropped my keys on the ground after parking on the street about half a block away. When I left my appointment my car was gone and I had no keys! Turns out a guest turned them in to the front desk, and the staff parked the car in their garage so I wouldn't get a ticket. Took a few hours for the police to coordinate the "stolen" car with the report from the Hotel but I got it back! That service has earned my future business. read more

NO TOOTHPASTE, CHARGED ME EXTRA "FACILITY FEE" I didn't even get toothpaste here for the $200/night stay, are you serious? And front desk told me to just get toothpaste from 7-11, it's like when I go ask someone a question and they ask me to Google. Thanks a lot. UPDATE: Congrats for falling from 2 star to 1 star! I was charged $25/day for "facility fee", which was not included in my online prepaid fee. I have lived in so many hotels and this is a FIRST! This was my first time to Seattle and my first time at Hotel Max. We chose this hotel because it was downtown. It was by far the worst hotel I have ever been. The room was small. I was very disappointed with the size of the shower. I'm not a big person but taking a shower in there was by far the worst experience with no room to move To make it even more disappointing was that I was charged $45 a night to park in the garage and $20 a day for coffee (provided in the lobby) , for the beer that was offered free to us and for using the WiFi. I did not use any of those items but yet was charged on my credit card. I will not be returning to this hotel and advise everybody to do your research before you book this hotel. Also check your credit card because there was charges that was charged without my approval. read more

Spent the long weekend in Seattle and booked our stay at this hotel via Expedia. Location of the hotel is perfect if you're in town visiting, you're walking distance from everything and if you did have to drive somewhere popular like Seahawks stadium it's not that far of a drive. Arrived to the hotel, they have a valet option at the front but we only parked there to unload our items and I went to look for parking. Parking they provide is pretty expensive, I believe it was around $35 a night. We chose to park across the street from the hotel cause it was $24 a night. Got checked in, took our luggage to our room and got settled in. Room was stocked with a snack bar and the fridge was fully stocked with beer, wine and water. The size of the room is pretty good, got a queen size bed that was really comfortable. Each day they have free beer hour serving local beer on tap to all of the visitors and best believe I was there each of those days of my visit. I believe the selection of the beer each day is random but it's free the beer tasted pretty damn good. One complaint I would have is that the bathroom is TINY. I'm about 5'7 175 lbs and felt squished in there. Not sure if they are all the same size but I would recommend asking if you're bigger than me. read more

The room is small which is acceptable but the smell....it's coming from the plumbing fixtures. The toilet room and shower room are separated...both room smell. My room is facing the dunnage which is awful. The location is good. The room is as clean as it could get. I wouldn't recommend this. If you get a deal for less than 100...then do it read more

A much better stay the second time around. I think having a normal sized bathroom really helped the situation, especially since I didn't have to contort myself to get in to the shower. I arrived early and Vivian at the front desk let me know that my room wasn't ready. She stored my baggage and offered to text me when it was available. As promised, I got my alert letting me know I could check-in a few hours later and the process was a breeze. She's pretty awesome if the hotel management is reading this! While I was waiting for a friend outside, two different valets and people working there asked if I needed anything or directions to my next point of travel. I didn't, but appreciated being asked. This is still my choice hotel while staying in the city. It's central to pretty much everything, they offer free beer in the afternoon and their wifi makes streaming and downloading flicks to your iPad before heading to the airport a cinch. Best of all, that perk is free to use as a guest. I also love that standard check-out time is at noon. If you're looking to do some early morning activities before you leave, it's nice to know you have that extra time to come back and freshen up before heading to your next destination. I'll for sure be back the next time I'm in the Emerald City! read more

Cool boutique hotel on the smaller scale. 3.5 stars is about right. Really wanted to but didn't get a chance to partake in their craft beer happy hour - show your room key for free beer from 5:30-6:30pm. Solid wifi. Indie punk rock motif. Decent location, a couple blocks from the westlake station. A decent walk to Pike Place. I took the train shuttle from SeaTac to the last stop and was hoping to walk a couple blocks here but the GPS on my phone couldn't find the location so I ended up ubering here instead. #firstworldproblems Another #firstworldproblem is that while in my penthouse suite (10th floor), the window mounted air conditioner unit was so loud I couldn't hear the tv unless if it was blasting. Good view of the courthouse and of people going to work in the morning. They Maxed out the budget when building this hotel. Rooms are small, they have window thermostat units, and they outsource the room service which is only available till about 8pm. It's almost as if they bought a bunch of cool furniture for the lobby and music themed decor for the halls and then said "Oh shit! We forgot about the obvious stuff!." They covered it up with free gumballs at check in and in room record players, but still it's easy to notice there's some sub-par amenities. I will say the staff is super sweet and the price point isn't bad, but if you're looking for the luxuries of hotel living the likes of Kevin McCallister in Home Alone 2 you won't find it here. read more

Extremely disappointed we had made reservations for this hotel 2 months in advance for my birthday weekend. After getting into the room is when we realized it was NOT what was advertised in the pictures and that those pictures were renderings from a CAD drawing. Small is a understatement! After noticing we could have got the room for $152 less than what we're paying is extremely disappointing. When we were ensuring our reservation was booked the front desk employee was extremely rude and trying to get my fiance off the phone with very short answers and 0 hospitality. Very cute boutique hotel. Parking situation here is not the business though. $40 valet at the hotel, and a fluctuating rate by day in the parking lot across from the hotel. They have a cool beer hour each evening from like 5:30-6:30pm where they serve 1 kind of draft beer in cute mugs. The rooms itself are very basic and small. The shower is barely big enough for 1 person. The walls are SUPER thin. We were able to hear the girl next door have an entire conversation and end up breaking up with her boyfriend one of the nights and of course your typical boom chicka wow wow from the next room over. Bring earplugs if you plan to get some sleep here lol. Other than that, decently clean room. Be very careful when you get your room statement after check out. On the 2nd night after house keeping came in, they placed 2 bottles of sparkling water and 2 still bottles on our nightstand but those were not there upon arrival. We didn't find any note of whether or not it was free or charged. They have a little snack basket that contained a menu of prices, but these bottles didn't. We didn't want to risk it, so we didn't bother touching them. A few days later when I got the statement in my email, I noticed a $24 charge for some sort of water in the description. I called the hotel to inquire and the front desk said its for 2 water bottles. I had to explain to her that we didn't open any! She said she would have to talk to her manager to see if he could maybe refund me. MAYBE?!!? Finally after 10 minutes, she called me back to inform me that my CC has been refunded the charge. Overall good hotel for the location and price (excluding parking) but just be careful with the housekeepers...kinda shady if you ask me. read more

Like many people, we checked the reviews of this hotel and we decided to book. We paid more than 1200$ for 3 nights and we don't mind as long as we get a good experience. We booked a room with two bedrooms for thee persons in total. I checked in before everyone else arrive. The room was ridiculously small (and I am European, I am used to small rooms in Paris) !! Two full bed so close to each other, not even a place to put 3 luggages ! Not mentioning that the bathroom was tiny ! Like an airplane WC !!! After that shock, I went to the lobby and requested an upgrade ! I got another room (of course for more money). It was bigger yes ! But still not acceptable! I'll list it in bullet points to make it clearer: 1- A noisy window AC ! 2- The blinds on the windows are miss centered ! You will have a lot of sun that crash your face early in the morning. Pictures will be attached ! I can't even understand how they accept that! 3- No place to put your suitcase ! 4- no draws to put your cloth! A small closet that we were surprise to find in the top of it a coffee machine because there is no other place to put it. 5- the bathroom still small ! If you are tall and big like I am and you are trying to sit on the toilet, your legs will touch the front and the side wall and I am amazed how did they design it that way! 6- Stingy on the shampoo and body gel! We were three persons and we barely had enough! We asked to have more the next day! 7- The striking part is when you leave a dirty glass and you are back to see that it is still there and the cleaning lady didn't clean it or change it !! 8- Very noisy ! If you turn the air condition on , it's so loud that we preferred to turn it off. Opening the window was not helpful neither because we're in a busy area ! Not mentioning that you can hear your neighbors having sex or talking !! As well as the clapping doors of other rooms! 9- Mattress was soft and i woke up with a back pain.. I feel that people are fooled by their free beer for happy hour and the free coffee in the morning (which is by the way not good). Bottom line, nice staff, good location but everything else horrible and cheap quality ! While you are paying a lot of money ... I would definitely avoid that place and find a respectful hotel that gives me what I paid for.. read more

Well, well, well... if it isn't totally apparent why review sites like Yelp are important after reading the 40-some-odd inconsistent reviews for Hotel Max, then I don't know what is! So let me start by saying that we stayed here for only one night as our flight out of SEA-TAC was early the next morning. I chose a place that might afford us some last minute sight-seeing, but actually we had been staying in North Bend, WA (see my review on the Roaring River B&B) for most of the trip. Hotel Max is: *A little small-ish (I'm pretty petite, but still had to "squeeze" into the bathroom around the oddly placed sink). The room was pretty tiny, although bed was comfy. *A little fun (neat idea/concept with the local art & photography represented everywhere you go) *A little pricey (about 100 bones more per/night than a good B&B...+ no other option than to valet your car for 30+bones!) The location was good/central to all the goings-on of the city. Also, it is next door to the Red Fin restaurant. Service seemed sufficiently pretentious. Hotel Max is definitely not my first choice, but they're a'ight. read more

Hotel Max is a cute boutique hotel, renovated recently, in between Belltown and Downtown. The rooms are small but it's cute and I like their free beer happy hour for guests. Seattle can be a tough place to find a stylish hotel room that won't break the bank. I have stayed in many hotels in Seattle. So far, Hotel Max is my favorite mid-priced (if you are flexible with dates) hotel choice. Good 1. Great location, just a few blocks from the underground transit stop (at Nordstroms). Also very close to the Seattle Streetcar and monorail. 2. Stylish lobby with plenty of seating if you want to lounge and read the paper. The lobby also contains a lovely water station and free gumballs. 3. Very friendly Valets/Bell Men 4. VERY VERY comfortable beds and pillows (they even have a pillow menu if you need something specific) 5. They take a small room and jazz it up with artwork and functional furnishings. 6. Nearby entertainment. Hotel Max is in walking distance to 3 different movie theaters, Jazz Alley nearby, many restaurants, shopping center, and drugstore within a 5 min walk. 7. Great for solo travelers 8. If you can, get a room on the 9th floor, you may get a view of the Space Needle if you are lucky. Not so good 1. If you aren't into "cozy" spaces, the rooms may be too small for you. 2. They have the world's slowest and smallest elevators. 3. Expensive parking situation. I have stayed at Hotel Max many times now and can say with confidence it is a great hotel with a good amount of quirk and character to set itself apart from other more costly hotels that frankly lack the character and personality that Max has. Do yourself a favor and follow them on Twitter to receive 15% off your room. Hotel Max, it's a-ok in my book. read more

From the moment we arrived and pulled up to the curb to the moment we walked out to our car to leave, our time at Hotel Max was impeccable. The staff were friendly, welcoming, courteous and accomodating at all times. Jen warmly welcomed us with a lovely little personal card and package in our room and Jonathan kept us company while we said goodbye and waited for our car from valet. All warmly welcomed and enjoyed our dog Branimir as well. The hotel itself is a gorgeous boutique style with incredible art and modern furnshings throughout. Each floor had it's own theme to include each door being wrapped with an art piece that emulated this theme. That and it helped you to find your room easier! The elevators are secure in that you must have a room key card to access the floors. The rooms are beautifully decorated complete with more art and the bathroom, although cozy was clean and tidy complete with lovely Aveda products. Their attention to detail was incredible! We stayed on the 10th floor in an artist King. The room was large and had the perfect amount of space for my dog to run around and play. Each pet package included a wonderful large bed, water/food bowl for them to use during the stay and treats. There was a nice sized flat screen television and we had complimentary Wifi. Our New Years package included noise makers, a top hat and headband as well as a bottle of wine all of which were displayed out for a festive NYE greeting when we entered our room. I must divulge that I used to travel alot in my previous occupation and have stayed at some of the top Starwood Hotels and Essex House in NYC on a regular basis for almost a decade. I have to say that this was the best hotel experience I have ever had between the service, attention to detail and the decor! That and the beds were far more comfortable than even the Heavenly Beds offered with the Westin chain. In addition, my room was very well insulated and quiet, very surprising in fact especially on NYE! Thus our dog was not stressed and no bouts of barking occurred. That and we were able to have a wonderful night sleep enhanced of course by the previously mentioned incredible bed! You can be certain that we will return to Hotel Max. I can't say enough good things about this lovely Hotel. The rooms are more than reasonably priced, in fact they even offer a Twitter discount. I know there has been mention of small room sizes, ask for 1010 and I'm sure you won't be disappointed. This is for me THE place to stay in Seattle! read more

Yes, this hotel has great service. Yes, this hotel is decorated beautifully. Yes, there is a strong shower head. Yes, the bed is comfy and there's a pillow menu. Yes, the bathroom is stocked with luxurious bath soaps. There are ALSO... - insane construction sounds throughout the day (banging and yelling) - the smallest shower ever constructed in man kind. I'm small and I could barely wash my hair comfortably - a relatively small exercise room - an oddly laid out room (TV to your 10 o'clock as you lay in bed) For the price, amenities start coming into play. I might try somewhere else next time. There are many other hotels to choose from within a block or 3. read more

I could say countless nice things about Hotel Max, the list would go on and on. Forget that though, I just want to keep it simple. Here were the most impressionable things about this wonderful hotel: They let us check-in early, without charging any additional fees. They also extended our check-out time from 12 pm to 2 pm, at no additional cost as well. 5 o'clock rolls around, everyone gets free beer pours at the hotel lobby -keep it classy though. Best of all, every single staff member was exceptionally hospitable. That was probably the most memorable part of our stay. Upon each of our exits or entries they seemed genuinely pleased to greet or interact with us, as well as with all other hotel guests. They truly made our stay a warm one. The only downside is that rooms can be considerably tiny, but they are cozy and have style. That's what you would come to expect from boutique hotels. The size of the rooms was easily overlooked by the inviting feel of the hotel and its staff. Especially its location; which is close to most of the popular things in the downtown area. This is the pearl of the Denny Triangle. read more

Trendy and very artsy boutique hotel close to everything downtown and well worth the price. Parking was a little pricey (but less than a similar hotel in San Francisco) in my opinion $30 for overnight w/ in-out privileges. I love the creative flare that they put into it's design elements; everything from the lounge to the hotel doors to the uber sleek catalog reviewing all of the local designers/artists whose work is displayed throughout the space. The BEST part of my stay was the ultra premium and deluxe bedding. The room was listed as a queen size bed but it was a super king and it was heaven! Downfall: The shower/bath was made for petite women who are under 5-4" tall and seriously not claustrophobic. Go! Go! Go! If you come to Seattle and be sure to eat next door at the Red Fin. Well I was traveling to Seattle and my company set me up here at "Hotel Max". I figured close to work and seemed kind of hip. Checked in and the staff were nice and accommodating. Disappointed they don't sell any goods like soda's, candy, chips, toothpaste. Don't forget anything. Checked into the room and everything was clean and very retro style with neat art and old style bathrooms. Rooms: Very clean, bed was comfortable, small, small space. Walls are very thin. You can certainly hear the city and people yelling outside, lol. I know it is a big city but double paned glass might help. Service: People at front desk were very helpful and accommodating. They are working with what they have and is all good. Lobby and doorman were also very helpful and reassuring. Amenities: No real amenities unfortunately. There is a pricey restaurant next door but I think operates separately. Overall I subtracted star because of the noise, size of space, and no amenities at the front. Sink was super small too. Rooms were clean, place had free happy hour at 5, and was unique and hip. Everything was well run and service was great. read more

The only thing I actually loved about this place was the unbelievable beds. I'm not joking when I say "paper thin walls"! I do not want or expect to be disturbed by my neighbors gettin' it at 7 A.M. Our room was indeed nice looking, but the size of a walk in closet. The staff was O.K. There was a truly pleasant woman checking us out, but the two guys who checked us in need to get rid of the attitudes. read more

Stayed her for a night on Friday March 13, 2015. Booked a room for $110.00 with one full sized bed. Cute old hotel, trendy looking inside. Lobby: is very cute, looks like it is pet friendly, they have a bowl of water and dog biscuits set out next to the elevator. Next to the front door they have fruit infused water for the guest. They have an old school free gum ball machine next to the couches, with a lil info about the Gum Wall. Comfy couches to sit around while you wait. Elevator: TINY. It can fit maybe 4 ppl comfortably.... Room: TINY. It can't fit a bed bigger than the full sized in there. I opened a door in the room thinking it was a closet, nope, it was the shower. Shower was separated from the toilet. It was a lil odd. Interesting to say the least. We were in room 406. Definitely not sound proof. Heard the neighbors doing it, heard the street noise, heard the air conditioning units going on and off. Location: Great location! about 1/2 mile from everything, Pike Place, restaurants and bars. Parking: valet only. Best bet is street parking which is free from 8 pm to 8 am and free on Sundays. Or the lot across the street is $17-24 for overnight parking. Valet is $40+ a night. read more

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel in downtown Seattle. I fully recommend this hotel. Enjoy the free beer every night and look at the artifacts throughout the lobby. I did have an issue with a hotel guest in the room above me, and the hotel manager Samuel handled the situation with extreme professionalism. Great management at this hotel. I will 100% be back!! read more
