Absolutely incredible. We came here for a week for our honeymoon the first week of the year, and could not have been happier that we chose this hotel. The staff is friendly and amazing, and they wrote us a handwritten note with a bottle of prosecco when we arrived (and fancy chocolates)!! They greeted us every time we came downstairs, and if we needed a ride anywhere or had any questions they always went above and beyond. The hotel also has a car that they are happy to take you around town in and pick you up if you want. The concierge was also very helpful with recommendations and arranging things! It was a lot easier to have some of our activities charged to our room rather than carrying separate bills also. The facilities are beautiful, and it still seems brand new. The hot tub was great even in the negative temperatures. Housekeeping did an incredible job also and our room was so homey. We probably could not have stayed here in the summer at their full rates, but we were so happy that we could stay here in the winter at least! Also we booked directly with the hotel - I had read that they were able to contact you directly before your stay to arrange activities if you booked directly with them and that's what we did. It worked out great. read more

This hotel is fantastic! Great location near the town center restaurants and shops, terrific transportation to and from the slopes or anywhere else you need to be. The restaurant is well run, the food is tasty. They were kind enough to make an off-site spa appointment for me, provide transportation, and include the spa fees in my hotel bill. We met the owner during our stay and he is gracious and welcoming. I definitely recommend a stay here and can't wait to visit again ourselves. read more

Beautiful Hotel. Modern amenities. Staff was welcoming, friendly, and exceeded expectations. Our valet Peter was extremely polite and knowledgeable and remembered our names! Anyone visiting Jackson Hole should treat yourself to this hotel. read more

Owners Not Ethical Initially we were very excited for our stay at Hotel Jackson. The rooms are very expensive and a bit small, but they look nice. We spent about $600 a night for our room and booked for three nights. This hotel requires payment in full before your stay, which we found unusual. We now know why. We met the son of the owner, Dorian, at the restaurant behind the hotel. The restaurant was out of multiple items and our drinks had not even been made (we had a clear view of the bar), so we told them we would be leaving but we would try them tomorrow when their menu items were replenished. He was very condescending and inappropriate in his efforts to keep us in the restaurant, which only reinforced our decision to go elsewhere for our dinner. Dorian then went to the front desk and made the hotel manager give him our room numbers so he could charge the non existent drinks to our room! Between our group we spend thousands per night for this hotel, and this controlling, inappropriate man on a power trip really made us all feel unsafe. How is this ethical? I could not sleep that night thinking about the way he spoke to us and treated us, now knowing he had our room numbers. Our level of anxiety over our this man's inappropriate behaviors left us all feeling the need to check out early despite their decision to keep our last night's pay. We lost thousands of dollars to be away from this man's sphere of influence. Do not stay at this place. read more

Disaster! This is what happens to a nice structure with absentee owners/managers. Wanted to check out early. Wanted to leave after two of three nights and told that we would be charged anyway. Issue related to feeling of safety. Currently disputing charge for third night. Management was impotent in that they couldn't do anything without talking to owner (who was never there). This is not a well run place. Family is arrogant and unethical in the way they conduct their business. read more

We live in Sun Valley and this is my kids first ski vacation.. Simply spectacular. Service is outstanding. Attention to details remarkable. Staff is so accommodating. We will back! read more

We rolled into town a little later than we intended and needed to unwind. We stopped at Hotel Jackson (HJ) with tensions running high. Our expectations rose with each glimpse we got at the lower level. Our HJ stay was a little unfamiliar at first, and we have had our share of cold interactions with other innkeepers, but the steady hand of Garrett behind the desk immediately warmed us up. We were impressed by the smooth HJ touch and were excited to finish our business behind the counter and get up to our room. Inside was cozy but not cramped. It had all the privacy you need to have the HJ experience you really want but never feel comfortable coming right out and asking for. The finish to our weekend lived up to the elevated expectations Kelley and the other HJ artisans established from the start. Upon leaving, of course they sought the payment hitherto agrees to, but they accepted this with the same gentle hand that will keep me coming back again and again. read more

Hotel Jackson - Hotels Near Me - Jackson Hole, Wyoming

Hotel Jackson is the best I have stayed at in Jackson. For the price which is only slightly more than other locations you get beautiful rooms, a great gym, incredibly comfortable beds/pillows and a fireplace in your room. I Will be coming back here from now on every time I am in Jackson, when not out in the backcountry. David (hotel manager) and staff were incredible with local information and happy to answer any questions. read more

Stylish contemporary boutique type hotel on a quiet street just off the main drag. Had a premium king room with view; we were on the fourth floor (top) facing the Snow King mountain resort area which was not much to look at. Very spacious bathroom with double sinks, tub and separate shower and motion sensored lighting. Free Wifi was pretty good overall but did bog down at times. Nice restaurant that serves Lebanese food for lunch and dinner. Valet parking only, $20 a day. Lots of dining and shopping choices within easy walking distance. The park is about 20-30 minutes away by car. Hot tub, fitness center, very comfortable library/lounge area with fireplace. Definitely pricey but they treat you very well and they have all the bases covered. read more

Six of us recently stayed at the Hotel Jackson for what was to be a three night stay. We had three rooms- a suite at 1200$/night and two rooms at 600$/night. On the second night of our trip we went to Smokin Iron for dinner- what we were told is a hotel restaurant in the back of the hotel. We were seated by a man we later learned to be Dorion Darwiche, a self proclaimed part owner of the hotel and son of Jim Darwiche the owner of the hotel. Our waitress asked for our drink order with Darwiche over her shoulder. I asked for a beer in a bottle. He abruptly said they only had draft and when I didn't want that he rudely looked at me and said " what's the difference?" And told the waitress to get me a draft beer. He then gave us menus and told us that their food was great but they were out of almost 50% of their menu- they are a bbq place and they were out of chicken and another meat. When we said that was a problem he became agitated and zeroed in on me, one of 3 women in the group. He looked severly at me asking what was the problem then put his hand on me ,said he was Dorion a part owner and asked what the last name of my reservation was. I felt uncomfortable and unsafe with his touching me and his controlling tone, so I gave him a fake last name. So, not having received our drinks, we Decided to go to another restaurant. He told us we could not because our drinks were coming. We looked at the bar and there were no drinks so we got up and left. We went and had dinner and I was visibly upset over Dorion Darwiche's' behavior towards me. We returned to the hotel and my husband complained to the front desk manager Lyenne, who Dorion had already talked to. She said he had come to the front desk and asked for my room number...and she gave it to him! So my husband demanded to speak to the owner, his father, and he was called. Jim Darwiche and his wife denied any rude or inappropriate behavior by their son and claimed we walked out on our drink bill which was a lie. We left because of Dorion Darwiche's rude, inappropriate and threatening behavior. My husband asked to meet with him and his son and he refused. The next day we all got up and decided to leave given the incident and lack of customer service, making all of us feel unsafe, threatened and mistreated. The management staff refused to refund our money for the night and when we got our bill Dorion Darwiche had added the bill for the drinks ($18) onto our bill- we never saw or signed a receipt, never saw or received any drinks - but as owner he can add unincurred charges. Unbelievable. and having spent over $4000 for a room it was not about $18- Dorion Darwiche and Jim Darwiche do not care at all about their guests. In my opinion Dorion Darwiche is rude, inappropriate, comtrolling and unethical in his business practices. The management staff are mere puppets of the owners and are useless. Do not stay at this hotel. Read other travelers negative reviews- there is a common theme of terrible customer service. I wish I had. read more

Tremendous service. Super friendly staff. Great location. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by their courteous team. Check-in was a breeze, and our room was spacious, clean, and well-designed. We just got back from a 3-night stay and, even with the cold and snow, managed to enjoy the outdoor hot tub. There is an on-site restaurant; each room has a Nespresso machine; and the bath products are from L'Occitane en Provence. Would definitely recommend! read more

I was born and grew up in Jackson, Wyoming. I purchase the mountain collective pass and travel back home every ski season. Unfortunately my parents moved away when they retired. I was excited when Hotel Jackson opened up this past summer. I had to stay there on my most recent ski vacation. The décor is amazing and the rooms are stunning. The hotel offers a free shuttle to get to the slopes leaving at 8:30 AM. It is the perfect place anytime you are visiting Jackson. Its location is amazing, right near the town square in downtown Jackson. It is walking distance to many shops and downtown bars. Take it from a local, this place is something special, it has uniqueness about it that no other place in Jackson has to offer. They offer complete valet service, workout area, library, daily newspapers, coffee in the lobby, roof deck hot tub, and a fireplace right in your room. The amenities and ambiance of Hotel Jackson make me want to book it every time I go home for a vacation. read more

The staff at HJ are amazing - all so friendly and accommodating. I'm an event planner in Seattle, WA and organized an incentive trip for a group of salespeople in Jackson in early June. I couldn't have chosen a better hotel for their stay. Everyone was very impressed with their rooms, the food, and how attentive to detail the staff were. They made my job as a planner totally seamless (so thank you HJ for making me look so good!). We were their first large group who had a banquet dinner and private event happy hour hosted on their deck, and they executed both perfectly. One thing to note - those fireplaces in the rooms are powerful. They're not just decorative, they really heat up the rooms. I'd love to return in winter to ski and have the luxury of a pretty (and functional) fireplace at my feet! So cozy! All in all - would highly recommend HJ to anyone and everyone. Very special spot in a very great town. read more

We were customers of Hotel Jackson in 2016 and returned again in May 2017. Our flight was delayed and we were unable to make the first night of a 3 night stay. We advised the hotel of the situation when we landed. The manager suggested that we "split the difference" of the lost night. As the hotel was not completely booked that night and the situation was out of our control as far as the flight delay, I indicated that was not fair to us but the manager did not agree. The money frankly is not the issue, but rather the management's position to bargain with us versus maintaining customer service. We will not return to this hotel. read more

I cannot say enough good things about the staff, facilities and dining. Hotel Jackson truly deserves all five stars. The rooms are everything pictured on their web site. The staff goes out of their way to help you in anyway they can. The money we spent to stay here was worth every penny! It is not cheap, but you get what you pay for and if you want to enjoy your stay in style and hospitality at its finest, this is the place! read more

This is the perfect place to stay in Jackson Hole. We visit this past February and we would go back in a heartbeat. We are very avid skiers and rank Jackson Hole at the top of our list. When visiting Jackson Hole, it is best to stay in the hotel rather than at the base of the mountain. In town, there is so much more to do and walking distance to great shops and restaurants. Plus the hotel offers a free shuttle to the mountain. The service at the hotel was everything you needed and more. The employees were always warm and friendly and made you feel very welcome. The rooms were big, extremely nice and very clean. The hot tub was on the roof overlooking a beautiful mountainside. We ate in the restaurant for breakfast every morning and the spread was very impressive. It is a quaint, upscale hotel with a rustic feel. Staying at the Jackson Hole made our trip very memorable and enjoyable! No complaints and we will definitely we coming back! read more
