Unfortunately, this property surreptitiously changed our reservations (less than two hours before we arrived) to be on two different floors after we were requested adjoining rooms. When we asked after arriving, they said oh sorry if we noticed the change earlier, we would have been able to fix it. But they were the ones who made the change? They agreed in writing in advance to provide connected rooms. The location is simply terrible and is tucked back in a series of parking lots. With all the beauty of the area you would expect a lot more. There are no views of anything from any room, all you see is a parking lot. Super disappointing especially for the price of this hotel, which is more than $400 per night. It's certainly not worth that at all. In fact, it's borderline outrageous for the poor quality of this location. It's just price gouging. If you can stay somewhere else, I would seriously advise looking at a different hotel chain entirely. My experience with multiple Hampton Inn on this trip has been simply outrageous. read more

Up front disclaimer: the front desk staff during my stay was friendly, this is not an indictment of them. First off: We were leaving Yellowstone and called ahead to book a reservation for the Hampton Inn. Unlike every other hotel we stayed at during this trip, we were transferred to an overseas call center that took ten minutes to make the reservation, as opposed to less than a minute and speaking with one of the front desk staff members that would later greet me at the hotel. For the price I was paying, when presented with the option, I requested mints. After having to explain what mints were to the overseas representative, she then laughed at my request before denying it. I really don't think when paying over $300 for a standard room that mints are an unreasonable request. Next, price vs. value: this hotel was twice as expensive as the others we have stayed at throughout our trip, but offered nothing extra in most cases, and less in others. Our room was smaller and had less counter space than we were used to. The bathroom was tiny, again with less counter space. I got up to get the continental breakfast offered, and it had 1/3 the options of the other, far less expensive hotels we've stayed at, and didn't even have milk cartons we could take back to the room for cereal. Also, the food was of noticeably lower quality, there's really no excuse for a hard, reheated omelette, especially, as previously mentioned, at this price point. The building and grounds were clean, and there was parking. There were no issues with the facility, parking, or room cleanliness or structure, it just wasn't anything special. Overall - my family and I wished we'd have stayed anywhere else in Jackson Hole that could have fit us at a lower price point. Aside from when we were all lying in the bed we felt cramped and were stepping all over one another to get through the room. We left as soon as we had finished breakfast and will not be returning to any Hampton or Hilton hotels until their quality catches up to their price point. read more

Like toilet flushing, shower running, footsteps etc. you won't sleep well, then at 7:30 they were vacuuming. Employees on their cell phone walking up the stairs not paying attention while we were trying to carry bags down. Parts of the bathroom were dirty, staff at front desk was wearing a t-shirt. We only stayed here one night but it was a good one. This location is sort of tucked away from the main road and you might miss it because of the way the driveway is set up. It is right in Jackson and near a bunch of restaurants, gas stations, and a market. When we checked in, the front desk person was very welcoming and helpful. He took the time to explain the property and the amenities to us. The lobby area looks small with the stairway right in the middle, but it also has a log cabin atmosphere. After checking in, we found the room to be large, very clean and comfortable, which helped us get a very peaceful night's sleep. I had a chance to use the fitness center and while most of these chain hotels don't have much, this one had lots of dumb bells, kettle bells, treadmill, bicycle and elliptical so you could get in some sort of workout. I would recommend anyone to stay here if in the area and hope you have better weather so that you could take advantage of the fire pits and outdoor seating out front. read more

We arrived at the hotel around 6:30 pm. The two ladies there at the reception desk were totally not to the task; long faces, unwelcoming, basically seemed that they don't really care being there. Used to stay here frequently, but a new management team a year or so ago has let the place decline. One stay went multiple days...and they declined to bring in any coffee due to "supply chain issues". However directed us to Starbucks...who had no issues. On another stay we learned there would be no TV for several days. The reason for this changed daily but other hotels had Direct TV that worked. No shower curtain, tiny rooms and bathrooms (this is not a Hampton room but one from a hotel that had its name changed to Hampton). Very sorry breakfasts. No coffee...need to go to lobby for that. This Hampton in is nestled behind an apartment, and a restaurant making it difficult to find from the main drag especially at night. The staff was very friendly and helpful during check in and check out. The rooms are nice and spacious with a comfy bed. Now to justify why I provided only 3 stars. The furniture in the room needs some upgrading and repair. The vinyl on the headboard was peeling off like somebody had been rubbing their head on the headboard for three years, the vinyl on the arms of the chair were all wearing off as well. Due to our status with Hilton we all had complimentary breakfast, this wasn't the best by any means. The scrabbled eggs were definitely powdered and even when you smother them in ketchup or salsa, the still tasted nasty. The potatoes had so much salt that I couldn't eat them. I recommend skipping their complimentary breakfast and heading out to eat. We sat outside in the front where they had two gas fire pits, both of which didn't work, although we smelled the trace of LPG every once in a while, the manager said they were waiting on parts, but the looks of the pits, it looks as though they had been waiting for a while. Lighting in the parking was nine existent, out of all the lights, only one worked making the parking area pretty dark. Oh and make sure you get a parking place quick especially Thu-Sun, otherwise the restaurant that the hotel sits behind fills up the small parking lot for the hotel. If you're looking to only stay one night and you want to stay at a Hilton property, then this might be for you, but I will most likely not stay here again. read more

Location a bit inconvenient - not really in Jackson per se, can't walk to any of the main restaurants in downtown Jackson - but in the age of Covid19 when I only order takeout wasn't a big deal. Covid19 precautions mostly good - staff wear masks, and most guests I saw were wearing them. Elevator limited to 2 people or one family I think. Breakfast has a nice lady with gloves and a mask picking stuff out for you ans giving a tray that you can take to your room. Breakfast was delicious and included eggs and scalloped potatoes. The only problem: the breakfast is served in the dining room where they allow people to eat in there, sans masks of course. I stood in line for 16 minutes (I timed it!) to get my food, and a lady seated at the table next to me without a mask was COUGHING repeatedly. Seriously??? We had high expectations for this Hampton Inn at nearly $400/night. I would think that Hilton would maintain high standards in all of their hotels. I was wrong. I'm sure they are doing their best to wipe down all the commonly touched surfaces during this COVID-19 outbreak, but this room is in disrepair and needs a deep cleaning. Jackson Hole is a great place. I'll have to find another place to stay next time I pass through. The Hilton banner must not mean much anymore. read more

Well we decided to stay here because we trust the Hilton/Hampton brand. Our stay was fine. The service here was great and was very impressed by the maintenance guy Le (Lee) who was asking if we had any issues in our rooms., etc. he was also helpful in pointing out some things to see in the area. The downsides were this hotel decor needs an update. The breakfast area was way to small for the hotel. People were haggling over seats at breakfast. All in all it was ok. read more

This Hampton Inn cost me 30,000 points per night for a Thursday through Saturday stay towards the end of October. I really loved the outdoor entrance to the hotel (wooden chairs surrounded by fire pits) and lobby! The decor was definitely different than your standard Hampton Inn, of which I have stayed at many. As a Hilton diamond member, you're supposed to choose between points or the snack and beverage, but the hotel issued both. Not only did I get a free bottled water, but one of the options was a local buffalo jerky. Score! Normally I give Hampton Inns three stars because let's face it, they're no Sanctuary on CamelBack Mountain. This particular Hampton Inn's decor inside the room was also unique, down to the lamp post. The lamp post imitated a branch of wood (instead of just a normal pole), the light fixtures in the bathrooms had antlers (instead of something plain), and the couch had decorative pillows (instead of a solid color). Everything was tastefully done. There is free parking, wifi, and breakfast. The breakfast is your standard Hampton Inn breakfast. Since there's no real kitchen (just an oven to bake the food - oven has one temperature, a timer, and lots of racks), breakfast is your standard baked eggs, baked bacon, etc. It's ok, but the breakfast is the reason why I start all Hamptons at three stars. I gave this hotel an extra star (so four stars) for ability to accommodate a special request. Under the rate I booked, only 2 queen beds were available. I asked at check-in if there were any king bed rooms. The gal checked and quickly found another room. She upgraded me to a king bed with sofa bed suite. This hotel is a hidden getaway from the busy town of Jackson. Tucked away from the main road, the hotel looks like the perfect forest getaway. When we arrived, the staff checked us in quickly. We went up to our room for our "mountain view" to find that it was a small mountain nearby. We were hoping for a view of the Tetons, but this smaller little hill blocked it completely. Our room was on the second floor right next to the staircase and lobby. We were worried about noise from the lobby, as sound travelled very easily up the stairs. However, the main problem was that we were close to the ice machine. Throughout the night, guests would use the ice machine and I was woken up by the loud banging sound that the machine made. The room was clean and the hotel it very nice, but the lacking "mountain view" and ice machine diminished our experience. read more

There is a significant Human Resources issue I think Hilton would like to be aware of. The property is Hampton Inn, Jackson Hole. I stayed there mid January, & left a personal item (pants) in the room. An hour after leaving, I called the hotel & they acknowledged finding said pants. The offer was made to mail them to me, which I thought was excellent customer service. I declined, communicating I would be back in a month to pick them up. Upon my return, I communicated to staff 2X in 24 hours that I would like my pants back. After not hearing anything back, I had the misfortune of interacting with Kali A. Schott. Ms. Schott was completely unhelpful, providing zero customer service. I communicated that she was the 3rd person I had spoken to in 48 hours about this issue, & that I was becoming impatient & frustrated. Kali decided instead of providing excellent customer service & acknowledging my frustration, to center the conversation around my attitude. Kali made 1 call to housekeeping & for informed me my item was not present. I informed her that was incorrect, that multiple employees had already confirmed my item to be on premises. Again, Kali had an opportunity to provide excellent service & approach this as a challenge to be overcome. Instead, she refused to believe anything I said, told me she would have the AGM contact me, & proceeded to retire to her office, leaving me alone in the lobby, with no resolution. It was hours later, that I discovered Kali to be the General Manager, who was pushing me off to her subordinate!! Incidentally, the AGM (Jenny) was pleasant & positive. Obviously, Kali doesn't want the responsibility of being a professional General Manager. I find this to be completely unacceptable behavior & would like to know what steps will be taken to ensure other customers do not have to suffer this same terrible experience?? I have been NEVER been mistreated by management, and would think Hilton takes this kind of matter very seriously. read more

Stayed here while I was visiting Teton National Park. Clean beds and bathrooms, and an overall cozy feeling. There were fireplaces just outside of the hotel which adds to the cozy feeling of this hotel. However, we did get a broken refrigerator (which was replaced very quickly). The breakfast was rather nice. There was a wide selection of food that was of decent quality. Overall, this is a decent hotel to stay in while you visit Grand Teton National Park. read more

My family and I came out into the lobby area where we noticed breakfast was still being served. As with most hotels we figured they were trying to get rid of leftovers instead of having to toss them. We had a hotel the previous morning offer us nearly a pound of sausage to us so that it didn't go to waste. As we made our plates the staff moved about around us smiling and working without saying a word to us. A gentleman that we assume was a manager walked into the dining area and loudly stated, "Well aren't you guys late!" Then said to the other worker standing there, "Aren't they late? Way late!" We sheepishly realized that we were indeed late and perhaps intruding on the staffs breakfast. Unfortunately, it not only would have been more professional but kinder for the manager to simply tell us that breakfast was closed. We would have apologized profusely and left immediately. Instead, we all felt a deep sense of shame and discomfort. read more

A nice place. Not the newest Hampton I've been to, but not the oldest either. They are maintaining the property pretty well. It was a very expensive night (well over $300), although I think that is mostly because of the location (Jackson) and time of the year (June) than anything. Breakfast was standard Hampton fare. The eating area is fairly tight, although we didn't have a problem getting a table with the kids. The employees were doing a good job of cleanup. We had a 2-queen-bed room. It was quite tight. Easily one of the best Hampton Inns I have ever been to. Small and very clean property that is close to the edge of town. Gym, hot tub, business center, pantry packed with frozen pizzas and other snack foods. Rooms have microwaves, a mini fridge, and a hot pot. Everything you need for an extended stay, which works out great because the hotel is next door to a grocery store. There are also many restaurants and bars within close walking distance. Behind the property there are shuttle stops for a free shuttle that does a loop to downtown Jackson Hole. A must for getting around easily, although you could walk to downtown easily enough. It's maybe a mile and half. Small downside is that there is no airport shuttle. The front desk will however happily book you a taxi. $35 to airport. read more

This hotel was a good hotel to stay in on the one night that we were in Jackson Hole. To begin with, Ricky at the front desk was really nice and helpful when it came to answering our questions and checking us in when we arrived. During our checkout the next morning, another employee, whose name I didn't get, was also really nice and helpful. I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that an integral part of one's hotel experience is dealing with hotel employees like these. I also liked how this hotel is right next to an Albertsons store. We stopped by to get a few things after we arrived and all we had to do was take a short pathway (see pic) to get from the hotel to the store. The only drawbacks I can think of are that the wi-fi had a tendency to lag at random times and our room (well, actually the whole hotel including the breakfast area) was very cramped. I'm not claustrophobic or anything, but I think this hotel can afford to be a little more roomy. One definite positive is the killer view of the hills right by the hotel. I think I also speak for a lot of people when I say that a room with a view is a definite plus. 4 stars read more

We had such a wonderful experience here. It was our first time in Jackson, and we didn't even plan to stay here. We were staying at Lakeview Suites in Montana but our room flooded 3x in 2 days, so we cut our losses and i was like "hey let's just stay in Jackson, I'm a Diamond member with Hilton and they have a Hampton Inn" so we drove the 2hrs and 40-ish minutes here. I called ahead because i knew we were gonna be super early, before the 3pm check in time and Allison at the front desk was heavenly and let us check in early. THANK YOU SO MUCH ALLISON! I booked this location because i saw they had a hot tub and it was snowing all day and ya girl loves hot tubs. Unfortunately, the hotel is currently going through renovations and it was closed but the super nice gentleman at the front desk, Austin let us know that because of this, all of the guests were getting complementary day passes to the local sports club which had two giant hot tubs. So we drove the short and beautiful 10min drive to Teton sports club. The front desk gal was so friendly and welcoming and it was so nice. Austin also suggested The Bistro for dinner and it was fantastic. Everyone here is just so nice and wonderful!!! Will definitely be coming back. Hampton Inn, i hope you realize how valuable people like Allison and Austin are and pay them what they're worth. They're just so nice and having great interactions with people is just priceless read more

We loved the outdoor fire pit when it got dark at night. I'm personally a fan of the 3 minute drive away from the downtown craziness and glad we had a more layer back paced location. It's super easy to find and we loved everything about the hotel itself. The breakfast was made accessible and convenient. However, I almost considered giving this place a raging zero review because of a crowd of hockey families that booked the same week with us having their kids screaming and running up and down halls until 2 in the morning... it was DREADFUL... and those kids took over the whole breakfast area and stealing anyone's spots regardless if they've finished their meals or not. You couldn't even get up to throw away a napkin without getting your seat filled, regardless of cell phones or water flasks being placed next to your full plate of food We get it, they're kids... but the level of poor manners was unbelievable. We ended up speaking with Mark at the front desk after a few days, hoping that they [the hockey teams] would have left by then. Mark was literally our saving grace! He'd mentioned how he had already addressed the issue with the parents and even managed to book our room to be the furthest away in seclusion to prevent any more possible disruption. Mark is astounding and has by far been some of the best customer service I have ever received. He made us feel well respected and made sure our needs/requests were met to the best of his ability. He's dedicated to his job and of a loyal and honest nature. We were impressed with how patient he was and how he was able to manage such a rowdy crowd of kids/parents along with what I'm sure was a multitude of complaints regarding those said kids/parents. This is way overdue but definitely needs to be documented! I am a flight crew member and my crew and I stayed at this hotel for one of our Jackson Hole layovers. The rooms were beautiful and the breakfast was amazing (good tasting, fully stocked, adorable set up), but the best part about this hotel is its staff. Upon returning to the airport, I realized I had left my employee badge on the desk in my hotel room. I immediately called the hotel and the gentleman at the front desk answered my call, assured me that he would have the room checked immediately, and call me back. Moments later he was returning my call to inform me that my badge was retrieved and they had it at the front desk. Being unable to return to the hotel myself, I asked if I could send a taxi to pick it up and drop it off, if there was an airport shuttle that could bring it to the airport, etc. He asked when I needed the badge by and I told him that I needed it as soon as possible (in order to avoid delaying our flight due to not having the proper credentials). He responded, "Well I get off work in about 15 minutes. I can just drive it out to the airport for you." I was floored. Sure enough, about 35 minutes later, I had my badge in hand, all thanks to the kindness of this man. He went above and beyond his job duties and really displayed his true nature as a person. He is a great asset to this hotel and the hospitality industry!! Unfortunately, I don't know his name but I'm hoping the hotel can look up the info based on the following info: Date of stay was August 5-6, 2015. The hotel staff have been the greatest. Hotel clean and well stocked. We are in town for a long weekend of hockey. Out 12-14 aged kids had 15 hours between games. Staff engaged with with our youth, and even helped them build a fort. Breakfast was fully stocked even with our team and a bus full from a school. When the youth we loud or disruptive staff we great at giving them kind reminders and even help keep them busy ( building a fort) . The fire pit out side was very inviting. The whole team including parents roasted marshmallows and enjoyed the time in the cold! See you next year! read more
