I had the Cranberry Turkey Club and it was delicious! The cranberry mayo was especially yummy. This was my second experience with Hot Table but first time at this location. I didn't realize there were different size panini options which I find really convenient. The fountain drinks specify free refills which was nice to see. This place has a cool niche specializing in a plethora of paninis. You can get other items like soups and salads, but I focused on the staple for my first venture to Hot Table. The sandwiches are very hearty and they certainly do not skimp on the meat and toppings. I tried both the cubano and the tuna. Both were good, with a blend of flavors that will be enjoyed by most palates. I do, however, prefer a bit more seasoning and these were definitely on the lighter side. Clearly they are catering to the broadest possible demographic and I certainly don't blame them. But for me, a little more seasoning would have notched 5 stars. First time customer, online order. Had difficulty choosing because of predominantly flavored mayo, so if I wanted chipolte or pesto, it was only in mayo. Barely adequate amount of tomatoes on one side, more on the other (pictured), but that's not my main complaint. Hardly any basil. We were searching around for a spot that would have a vegetarian meal and we found Hot Table. They offer several different types of paninis, as well as, three vege options. It was great that these sandwiches would be served hot! We ended up getting a SANTA FE VEGGIE PANINI (chipotle mayo, shredded pepper jack cheese, fire roasted corn, black beans, red onions, jalapeños peppers, tomatoes) and a CHICKEN PARM PANINI (roasted chicken, marinara sauce, provolone cheese, shaved parmesan cheese, roasted onions, roasted red peppers). We pre-ordered before the store was open. When we arrived, the order was already bagged up on a cart near the express checkout. Since we had already paid online, via their website, we were able to pickup and go. The Worcester location is inside a plaza with plenty of available parking. The restaurant was very clean and the employees were busy making all the orders. There were about five customers already in line when the store opened. Everyone was wearing masks and maintaining 6' distance. It was our first time trying these paninis and to our surprise, these were AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!!! It was just enough sauce to ingredients. Truly atrocious. I was ignored when I got in line, once a sever did decide to take my order she left halfway to answer the phone, then returned and had to leave again to take another phonecall. Another server came to finish it off and I had to repeat it all over again. The true pièce de résistance was the cashier though, he was acting like he was a politician and shaking hands with the people he knew instead of being friendly with everyone and not hold up the line. I got the Swiss mushroom steak panini and the bbq chicken panini. Both of them did not taste fresh. There was not enough sauce on them, so they tasted bland and old. Loaded with chicken, wasn't overly spicy, and the toppings were fresh. I got a large Chicken Parm panini minus onions and peppers. First time encountering a Hot Table and glad they chose to settle for Worcester, we can always use more new & exciting places to eat. Lines were forming when they first opened so I waited til that died down. Months later, I come in and there was barely any wait to be helped, however customers kept coming in and picking up orders so the pace is good to see, makes me happy they're doing well. The whole place is neat and clean, all food stations stocked and look fresh & vibrant. I ordered Pepper Steak, which turned out to be one of the best panini's I've ever had, the crust on their bread is perfectly crisp, doesn't cut your gums when you bite down or anything. Lots of sauce and the various peppers: roasted and fresh bell, banana, jalapeño, on there worked well together with the chipotle mayo and addition sriracha mayo. Gets messy but worth it. Their clam chowder isn't anything special but it's good to have on the menu. Love their selection of various lemonades and iced teas. I combined cucumber and raspberry and it was very refreshing. Definitely Average. I've heard all of the rage about hot table and checked it out one day for lunch. Ordered online for pick up. It was okay order was correct but the sandwich was cold when I got it back to my office despite picking it up on time and a two minute drive back to the office. I decided for the price I probably wouldn't be back. But then my office was ordering for lunch so I gave it another shot. I picked it up and the order was correct and staff was friendly but again the food was not hot (lukewarm at best) and none of the ~10 items were labeled. In the age of corona having to open someones food to figure out which sandwich is which (difficult when its a panini and the ingredients are sealed in the bun) is disappointing. For the price order from a local small business you'll probably get fresher food for less money. read more
