I was mostly shocked at the tea I ordered being a STASH tea bag. Never have I been to a lounge where the tea wasn't made in house. My companion and I felt the place was smelly and rundown, so we purchased beverages and talked a bit while deciding whether to stay. I suggest a mix of chai and mint. The music is not really my favorite. It's pretty loud but not so loud that you can't have a conversation. No food besides vending machine snacks but they do have soft drinks, tea and coffee. Service is a bit slow but that's to be expected from a hookah lounge. The staff do know what they're talking about though. The price is just perfect I think. We shared between 3 people for 1 hookah at $22. He's so attentive, full of energy and has great customer service. Keeps the coals coming, always checks in on you. He's awesome! So the vibe!!!!! If you come early it's less crowded, you can come and chill, listen to music, work, kick back, play video games and all of that. As it gets later it turns up a bit. I've been to many many hookah spots in my years and never have I been to one where it's so uncomfortable. It's like you're sitting on the persons lap next to you while you're smoking. They have fruit heads, they don't have alcohol(however I noticed people bringing their own alcohol in), the flavors were good and the prices were extremely reasonable. They had music playing,people dancing and knocking over hookahs (because of the limited space), I had to chase down someone to order and someone else to pay. Had a hard time differentiating who worked there and who were fellow patrons because it seemed like everyone's just sitting around. Parking is the pits! Don't like the customer service. I went in for a friend's birthday, even though I don't smoke Hookah and just got my hair freshly done at the dry bar. When I sat down, a guy asked me if I needed a menu. I said no I wanted to wait on my husband and the birthday girl who were parking the car. He asked others if they wanted a menu, they said the same. He then goes to the owner complaining that too many people do not want Hookah. 2 mind later , he comes back to me asking do I want a menu. I answered to let's asked the birthday girl sitting by me, she said she was ok for now so then he walks off. Birthday girl then goes to the restroom, and the waiter comes back to me and says if I am going to be in there, then I need to order something. Mine you, I am with 3 other people who already have a Hookah. However, I tell the waiter that I don't smoke and am ok to look at the menu for something else to order. He then says they have teas, etc. I say ok. Before I can even fully grab the menu, he then says, but you need to order a Hookah to stay in here. So my reply is, "does everyone in the establishment need a Hookah?" Since 4 other friends that walked in after me was there, I thought we may be able to split like the other group of 3. But then, His response was, "you can go talk to the owner." Wow, so you won't even answer me... why... because he knows he asked all 7 of us about ordering once... but then came back to me 2 additional times and told me and only me I needed to order only a Hookah or leave. My husband then walked in so I politely told my friend happy birthday, told my husband that I was ready to go and left before my hair smelled too bad and got too big as well as my attitude turned from being bullied and singled out by this waiter. Interesting enough, he said nothing to the men there. The guy on the side of me wanted me to stay and purchased and extra Hookah for me even though I don't smoke, which I felt horrible for him to waste his money. Came to LA on business and we decided to come here after dinner to enjoy the hookah. Upon arrival the parking was tight. Walked the younger lady was kind we were seated immediately. Very uncomfortable seats they seemed worn out. Honestly the place was dirty the hookahs look old. One thing I can tell you about hookah lounges that shouldn't mix different flavors with the same hookah. Each hookah should be designated for its own flavor. I ordered a blue mist but tasted like lemon mint. They should also switch to plastic hoses instead of the those rubber ones again nasty flavor. The Moroccan tea was horrible tasted like water. Luckily the group I was with didn't really no much about hookah so they couldn't really compare . This place needs some serous attention. read more
