Cookie Fact: The world's first chocolate chip cookie was invented by accident. It feels more like one of humanity's greatest achievements instead. I was next door at Kona Coffee Purveyors when I decided that perhaps we needed to pick up a few more bags and boxes of cookies for souvenirs. I could have gone to the one on Lewers Street by the hotel I was staying at but we were here anyways so I figured why not. More little pineapple-shaped boxes as gifts! If you've had them before, then you already know these cookies have a way of disappearing faster than a cow caught in a tornado. Buttery, crumbly, and rich without being too sweet. The iconic pineapple shape is cute but it's also the perfect warning sign that you're about to develop zero self-control. The store itself was bright, clean, and nicely stocked. I don't believe they offer samples like the one on Lewers Street though. read more

We absolutely love this place--there's an incredible variety of unique flavors, so there's truly something for everyone. Whether you're looking for the perfect sweet treat or a thoughtful gift for family and friends, this spot never disappoints. Alexandra made our experience even better--she's easily one of the nicest people we've met in IMP. She went above and beyond to help us pick out the perfect gifts for the kids, making the whole visit feel personal and memorable. We'll definitely be back! read more

Many will mix up Honolulu Cookie with Big Island but the texture and taste is completely different. Honolulu has their signature pineapple shape and offer the base in regular shortbread as well as flavored options; the guava with dried guava is my fave! You can personalize tins or buy pre-packed gift tins. The seasonal tins are fun and they always have great packaging. There are non-chocolate dipped options if you're afraid of it melting on the way home too. Love the store & the staff is very helpful. Best cookies from the island, IMO! read more

Just follow your nose. It will help you find your way here! Absolutely amazing coffee and chocolate! The cookies and other baked goods looked great! The samples had my wallet out in no time, so be careful. I thought the small box of chocolate nut varieties would last but nope. It was gone before we left to come back to Dallas! read more

My sister always brings me back souvenirs from Hawaii and Honolulu Cookie Company was always something she brought back -- the cookies here are simply the best. I bought $100 worth of cookies back home (for friends and family) and it was so nice of them to give me some cookies after speeding a certain amount :-) I also love how they let you taste samples before you commit to purchasing. read more

Very cute shop with convenient ambiance to shop. They didn't have plenty of staffs serving at our time of visit, but everything's pretty much easy to figure as items were well organized. They offered plenty of flavor options from Hawaiian signature shortbreads. Excellent point was almost all flavors being sampled so you gotta try before purchasing. read more

C is for Cookie! That's good enough for me. Time to eat and shop till you drop. The associates are super friendly so much so that I bought some and 5 mins later walked back in and bought more...as gifts for family and friends. I'm gluten free so I couldn't try them but everyone I bought them for - raved about them and that they didn't live long at their own homes. All cookies are shortbread options. The tins are soooooo cute that you want to buy all of them. I bought the aloha surfboard, pumpkin pineapple and the 2 mini purple/yellow tins. I might even buy some during the holiday season if they ship...great gifts! read more

Never disappointed... It's not just that you're able to try majority of the flavors but the packaging that's the real creativity for me personally as these adorable pineapple shaped cookies has many flocking over for a taste. With many convenient locations on Oahu this International Marketplace is easy right on the ground floor near the elevators steps from Kuhio Avenue. This tiny shop captured my attention with their ''Cozy up with Pumpkin" window sign...sigh yup they had me at Pumpkin! The fun certainly begins with the pineapple shape versus the basic round and their clever packaging wether it's in the box, tins or packs as I browsed around and decided on the "Cookie à la Carte"...yeah! Depending on the box, tin or bag that you choose will decide on how many cookies to choose from and with 14 different ones it can be a sugar high. I decided on a Halloween box super cute and fun and if you're not sure they samples for most of their cookies at your leisure so that you assured about the choices you made and though I familiar with it all it's hard not to sneak a bit of treat...since it's almost Halloween lol! Love the vibe here always keeping things flavorful along with the collaboration with Carissa Moore as the box was designed by a student making it a great idea and to show the skills we have here in Hawaii that benefits as well with all sales will be donated to the Moore Aloha Foundation and UH West O'ahu Creative Media program...brilliant! Thank you! read more

Around Waikiki there's a lot of Honolulu Cookie place to choose from. This location is inside the International Market. What made me love this place are the people who works here. We visited several stores in Waikiki. It seems very overpriced and the cookies are not really that great. Although the marketing is fantastic. The product lacks in quality and invention. These are incredibly delicious cookies. They are a bit pricey, but if you buy a larger quantity, they do go down in price. It also depends on the packaging. If you get a fancier box it cost more, I opted for the pick your own box of 20 to take home with us. The box is flimsier, but it is a better price on the cookies. When we first arrived I had heard of the famous shortbread cookies and we had wanted to try them out so we started with four. They were amazing and lived up to the hype. They do occasionally have samples to try in the cashier's drawer, you just need to ask. I love the diverse flavors, you can go simple, fruity, chocolatey, white chocolate, so many to pick from. You can get the prearranged packs that look really great, like their chocolate mix, or fruity mix. They also have bags a bite sized cookies and some fun merch. You could go crazy in here but we each picked out five to take home after eating several while in town. read more

Aloha!!Couldn't be more touristy, but it's worth it. Either if you want to eat the cookies or get a yummy souvenir for your family and friends. For those of you who don't know, the HCC is a chain (there's literally a HCC In every corner of Waikiki) They have this card that for every $5 spent they'll give you a stamp. For 10 stamps you get a gift (a box of 10 cookies) and 20 stamps gets you a discount. They have different flavors: chocolate chip, macadamia, guava, pineapple, chocolate, coconut, etc all of them delicious with a Kona coffee. You can mix and match your own box with 5, 10, 20 cookies or get boxes already set. Mahalo! read more
