My daughter who lives in LA now loves this place! She needs to stop here before she heads back! So many choices and her friends love it! Her favorite is the Dried Strawberries but they look dark now, not the bright red anymore (like featured on the website)! Hope it tastes as good! They said it does! Drinks are always a "go to" too!

My husband and I stopped by this little Candy/Treat shop a couple of days ago after work. We had always wanted to stop before and we finally did!! The different varieties of candy and Hawaiian treats were amazing. We ordered two icees with vanilla ice cream at the bottom of the cup and it was a great treat to have on a hot day. The service was great and everyone was so friendly. The store is set up well and it's fun to look at all of the different items while you are waiting for your order. Their decor and festive products adds to an already fun atmosphere. We will definitely be back again!!

Came here to check this place out. Daughter wanted some OG shave ice so we gave this place a try. Waited for a bit for someone to help us. Pleasant customer service. Shave ice wasn't the best, the blue vanilla and lychee wasn't pronounced on its flavors, but the blue raspberry was good. Don't get the mochi, they reminded me of yellow teeth and it was hard with a funny taste.

Food There were endless aisles of snacks and candy all over the store. There was complimentary water in a dispenser and cups to keep cool during the heat wave. Prices on average range from $6+ depending on the item. I purchased the Ube Chex Mix ($10 per bag) and Lihing Mui Chewy Candy ($6). They were both very light in flavor. The candy reminded me of Now and Later, but a softer candy version. Service Very friendly and welcoming employees were readily available to help as needed with any questions my party had. Parking There is a parking lot to the left when facing the storefront.

Popped into LIN's Hawaiian Snacks on a Saturday during the afternoon and it was a lil busy with customers buying snacks, shave ice etc. I've been too Lin's Hawaiian snacks for a bit now and also when they do pop up's at the Aloha swap meet at Aloha stadium before (I'm not sure if they still do pop ups at the swap meet might have to follow up with the business) Parking - parking could be challenging but I believe they do have a small private lot next to the building their in. What I normally get here is their Li-Hing Mango snacks so yummy and it's Soft which is good when the mango is soft and not hard and chewy. Would i recommend this SPOT to people YES FASHO I highly recommend this Lin's Hawaiian snack shop to other people and YELPERS and people from all over the world.

Cute little shop with paid parking on the side. Large variety of specialty snacks which you can also find at their swap meet stand. However, available in the store only are hand made drinks, shaved ice and desserts. I saw photos of the adzuki specialty ice and it was definitely worth trying. Crafted with pride and care, it was a uniquely flavored tower of ice cream, sweetened ice, and adzuki beans dotted with mochi. Definitely going back again to sample the other hand crafted items.

There's sweetbread and coffee underneath my snacks!!!

Hey Lin's Staff! You were right! This new canvas bag held all the goodies I was bringing home! Love my lemon peel gummies, pineapple gummies, and chocomochi! Mahalo again!

If you're a fan of all things ling hing then make Alin's a must visit in Honolulu! The selections are far and wide from preserved plums, lemon and orange peels and ginger to all kinds of fruits like guava, mango, papaya, lemon, lime, pineapple, apple, peach and cherries. They've also got items such as regular and spicy dried squid, cuttlefish, crab meat and smoked tako "octopus" and yes, your head will be spinning. Service is pretty much self serve but don't reach into the jars the workers will be happy to assist you and even let you taste samples. I really enjoy the interior layout with jars upon jars of preserved items and wall to wall selections. After you bring it home to the mainland and if you miss it you can order from them directly on their website!

What better way to spend a rainy Hawaiian day than to sample candy! The most affordable and delicious candy on the island. I spent a quick $200 on candy in just minutes. Put it in the basket.. Yup.. Love this spot!

Stopped by here before heading to the airport to grab some snacks and gifts. They have a variety of candy, dried fruits, and food. I really like how they have the smaller sample sized bags so that you can try them without the full commitment to getting a bigger bag. We got three small bags of the lihing sour mix, a large bag of the lihing sour mix slices, a few sampler sized bags and a bag of lychee sour belts. Overall, we loved everything we got except for the lihing sour mix. It's really unfortunate that we got four bags. When we got home and tried it, they did not taste great. When we ate it, it tasted like soap.... It was a waste of money. Even the watermelon slices in the mix did not taste like watermelon. I don't think I've ever had watermelon candy that tasted bad before until now. I'd definitely recommend getting their other stuff but avoid the li hing sour mix

    Mini bags of treats.

Walking into this cherished Kalihi biz it's difficult to choose which one will it be with so many to choose from though I'm plain and simple the classic chichi dango is it for me as this pink and white delicately wrapped treat has been my personal favorite for years. Rarely been able to make it here in time as they do close early at 2pm and is best to call in to secure your treats the staff here is fantastic with putting it all together for you though not everything available is found in the display case though I couldn't resist a pre packed chichi dango after bringing a friend here to pick up her order. Especially during holidays and for special events call in your order to avoid long lines and disappointment as it does sell out fast as it's popularity peaks for events or just craving that unique flavor that they have here as this tiny shop does make our mochi cravings happy. There was one employee working at the register and another in the back. The service was attentive and efficient although there was only one person on the floor. In addition, they offer local favorites like li-hing gummy bears and assorted flavored sembei, giving you plenty of sweet and savory options to choose from. The employee at the register was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, happily sharing information about the different mochi flavors and offerings. Most importantly, the mochi here is absolutely delicious. During this visit, we ordered a Girls' Day pack and tried the chocolate ganache Oreo flavor which was amazing. The mochi was perfectly soft and paired beautifully with the rich chocolate ganache filling. My friend loved it so much that she went back the very next day to order more!
