This is traditional Chinese resturant with no frills. The food is amazing . The staff is very friendly. You can bring your own wine .. Since we were only 2 and l was limited to what my wife likes. We started off with spring roll and soups . The won ton soup had lots of won ton and was very good. The hot and sour soup was full of vegetables and was not spicy- also very good . The spring roll was cooked nicely but they served us plum source in package ‍ . We had ask for chilli sauce which they brought to our table - just like in authentic Chinese restaurants . For our main course we order the Cantonese crisp noodles with vegetables , chicken , meat and shrimps . This was amazing . We also had an order of salt and pepper shrimps. The shrimps were large, juicy and favourable. We will be back with some of our friends as there are several dishes we want tryout.

We came over first time to try this restaurant. Pretty well known in Verdun area for northern Chinese dish. The waiting between order and eat is quite long. Plus, we gave our name and phone for the lineup. Instead give a call as promised, they let people behind toon a table first. Service I'd give 1 star. The food is pretty delicious. Sad, I hope they can keep up their word. Specially it's crowded area and busy restaurant. Overall 2.5 star is for first time experience.

Fermented Cabbage Stew with Vermicelli and Pork Belly

This is an authentic northeastern Chinese restaurant. It was my second time coming here with friends. We ordered four dishes: Crispy Pork with Ginger and Onion Sauce; Fermented Cabbage Stew with Vermicelli and Pork Belly; Egg Tofu, Eggplant with Ground Pork Sauce; Fried Spinach. The first two dishes are very typical northeastern Chinese food and I guess only this restaurant serves these two dishes in Montreal. The fermented cabbage is the Chinese sauerkraut. If you like sauerkraut, I recommend this dish. The egg tofu was also delicious with a crispy outside but tender inside. The only disappointment is the fried spinach so try to avoid this dish.

Peanut butter dumplings - the best

A solid 4 maybe even a 5 once I explore more items on the menu. After Looking through menus on top of menus of mediocre meh local Asian cuisine we decided to turn to the internet for some help. This place had crazy good reviews so we gave it a go. We ordered take out which was perfect and ready in 30 minutes. Location is a little hole in the wall but a true gem for Verdun. The restaurant was crawling with young adults and half of them were Asian so you know it's gotta be good because from my previous experience when there's lots of Asian families and young teens it's usually a good indication it's going to be super tasty and this place was nothing but pure perfection! Started off with the large won ton soup as I'm sick and was craving a simple soup. There was 12 dumplings which I won't argue with because who doesn't want more ? Broth was good not watery and bland. Green onions were fresh. Peanut butter dumplings were killer. The sauce has a tad of spice you won't notice it but it brings out the flavours. Each dumplings was evenly coated with a rich creamy peanut butter sauce. The pork was great it came with about 5 thinly coated sweet and sour pork chops with well seasoned veggies on the side and a little Bowl of rice not to much so it sits in your fridge for 3 days. Loved this place I would recommend trying this place next time you're in the area or before you call your local Resto.

The restaurant is located on Wellington street. The front door is pretty small and easy to be overlooked. However, when you enter the restaurant they have more spaces. They have authentic northern Chinese food, and dishes for Canadian flavours. Overall the dinner experience was good. The price is reasonable and average.

It is seriously one of the best chinese restaurant in Montreal, really authentic almost like home made food. I was really surprised that they use fresh ingredients. I ordered cabbage and pork dumplings and i saw them literally take out the cabage from their fridge outside the kitchen to make the dumpling on site, so im sure that they are freshly made. The size of the dumplings are also super huge, it is almost twice as big as dumplings found in other restaurant. They also have a lot of choices on their menu that are not easily found in other chinese restaurants. The lady whi owns the restaurant is super friendly and often comes to the tables to chat with the clients. Planning on coming back for sure!

The Short Version: Popular restaurant in Chinatown with hand…read morepulled noodles. I had one of the noodle soups and it was fantastic. The Long Version: I love hand pulled noodles, so my husband and I had lunch here. He's not a fan of noodle soups but agreed to come and just have appetizers, lol. I got the small-sized Spicy Mushrooms and Chicken Noodle Soup ($13.99). I chose the #6 size noodles which is the thickest noodles they offer. My husband got the imperial rolls ($4.50 for 3) and the fried shrimp wontons ($11.99 for 10). I really enjoyed my soup, especially the thick noodles. They were chewy and the right amount of softness. There were chicken pieces in it, mushrooms and a delicious "tofu sausage." It also had 2 pieces of baby Bok Choy and some pieces of kelp. I wished there was more vegetables. The soup also had green onions and cilantro. The broth was a tiny bit spicy from the chili oil. I am happy that this soup does not have sesame seeds in it, so I didn't have to ask them to hold the sesame seeds. Lol. My only complaint would be that the broth was a bit too salty and too oily for my tastes. I still thought it was good though. My husband enjoyed his appetizers. The imperial rolls were vegetarian. I didn't have any, but they looked like nothing special to me, haha. However, the hubby liked them which is what matters. The fried shrimp wontons looked good and he liked those too. Service was pleasant and efficient. The decor is casual with some fun touches. I liked the rotating lanterns with lights on the ceiling and the drawings of a big squid and clams on the walls. I would return to try their other noodle soups and also their handmade dumplings. Review #10 (2026)

So this spot we read on TripAdvisor how great the noodles are so we had to check it out…read more When we got there, we immediately turned into dumplings, lol you can't go wrong with dumplings. I just wasn't too sure about the noodles. We did see some plates come out and the noodles looked good, but they didn't look fantastic so I definitely wanna go back and actually just tried the noodles, but I always get tempted with the dumplings LMFAO
