Snow White sago with Vanilla Ice.. (topped with chia seeds, fresh fruit and jelly)

Snow White Sago in Vanilla Ice was pretty good. A desert for 1, unfortunately not big enough to be shared. Friendly service.

A great dessert place ! The seating arrangement and parking spaces at the Honeymoon Dessert Scarborough location are well maintained and organized. The staff are super nice and demonstrate the menu to the customers. The fruit infused drinks are so pretty and flavorful. We went with light ice and 50% sugar. Really nice dessert experience after dinner or late night sweet food hunt! We tried the handcrafted Mango Pomelo & Sago Sweet Soup with Ice Cream Durian Pillows, Mango Pillows Cashew Peanut & Sesame Soup Glutinous Rice Balls Pitaya Green Tea Mango Pomelo Soda We will come very often.

Double durian on shaved vanilla ice

Tried this dessert place that is supposedly well known in Hong Kong. Got takeout which was a bit of a risk we thought but why not. We tried a few items on different days. First, double durian in vanilla ice. Needless to say, durian is a love or hate fruit. Just skip this if you don't like durian. For those who love it, you'll get two frozen balls of durian. The fact that it's frozen does mute it's pungency and sweetness a bit so it definitely doesn't hit as hard. The vanilla ice was good flavor although I feel like there may have been some sharp chunks of ice that made it less shaved than I would have liked. I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt and say it might have melted and refroze multiple times on return to home. The durian pillows were pretty good. The crepe is light although I wish it had some sugar in it. The whipped cream is also delicious and very airy. The durian is the star again. Finally, the mango pillows - for those who aren't interested in durian. Felt this one was better than the durian one and had fresh mango flavor. Again, whipped cream is light and airy, crepe is decently thin but thick enough to hold everything together. Price: I'd say the price is on the higher end but that's probably to be expected of durian desserts. Overall, would order from here again for special occasions.

Mango pillows sooo light with the cream and crepes are thin and soft now hard. The appearance of these pillows are flawless as you can see. Planning to try their durian pillows next. Yes, I am a durian fan. :P Ordered my go to at any chinese dessert place which is the Mango sago pomelo grass jelly dessert! Can't go wrong with this and it always hits the spot.

It was my first time visiting this place so the server was super attentive in explaining to us what she recommends and what was popular here. We got a few mango desserts - and you really cannot go wrong. My favourites are the mango pomelo sago and mango milk custard (which is very similar to the mango yogurt desserts at ayce sushi places). We will for sure be visiting again.

Cute spacious place with a variety of different desserts to cater to every taste bud. Warm comforting desserts to cold, cool and refreshing desserts (real fruit).. they have ice cream desserts and "pillows" of cream and fruit.. Many options will be offered in hot or cold so be sure to ask.. there are some things that can't be considered for take out like the ice cream though. The concept if kind of like a cafeteria or food court where you walk up to the cash area to place your order and they will bring it to you when ready.. there isn't really a service aspect such as waiters... Space is open/bright/ modern and good for families and friends. This location has Kung Fu bbt in the same location so your set!! Mango Milk Custard $7.99 I really enjoyed this dessert.. yummy custard with a sweet mango chunks and tangy mango sauce Glutinous Rice Ball coated with Peanuts and Sesame $3.99 These were pretty straightforward.. just make sure you eat them asap because they harden over time Strawberry Tiramisu Cheese Sorbet with Ice Cream $8.99 One of the tastiest treats of the bunch with the sweet strawberries and the little cheese cake bites.. there are also cornflakes that add a interesting texture to the mix Sesame & Red Bean Soup with Glutinous Rice Balls $7.49 (not pictured) I didn't like these 2 flavours together because I think the sweetness of the red bean gets muted by the richness of the sesame.. id prefer these 2 desserts separated

Got the durian pillows because I loved eating these whenever I visited Hong Kong. Ive tried versions of it in Toronto but they were not on par. However, after hearing that this Hong Kong chain was coming to the area I definitely had to try it. It did not disappoint! The cream and crepe were so soft and fluffy. The durian was also creamy and tasty

Dessert after dinner is now a thing for me (adding on my winter paddings) I love coming to Honeymoon Desserts at this location. With vaccine passport in place, the staffs are doing their part for all dine in customers with the double dose check - make sure you have your ID with you. I especially love the customer service care from Raph, he does his best to check in with all of his customers, he is super patient, allows you to take your time on making decisions but will always keep you in mind so you're not waiting around with no one to assist. He takes in suggestions and comments about the food and service and even cracks a joke here and there! It's so nice to visit a dessert place that delivers sweets and fun memories.

I had the mango pillows. It was 8.99 plus tax for two small pieces, which was insanely overpriced to me. Tastewise it was nothing special. It is just how you would expect whipped cream and a mango piece wrapped wrapped in crepe skin would taste. Had to try it once just to say I've tried it but I won't be back due to the outrageous price.

So the bear itself in the affogato was a solid icy chunk of milk (coz we chose the milk flavour) that just frozen. We added the affogato on top of it and while it looked aesthetic, the dessert didn't make sense at all. We were unable to break the frozen chunk or be able to mix it with the coffee and the coffee mixed with that frozen chunk submerged tasted really bad. Paying $16 for that wasn't worth it at all. The bingsu was good though. We got the mango bingsu bowl and it came loaded with mangoes and a marshmallow and an oreo cookie to make it look pretty! I don't think I'd come back to try anything else here. Was a little disappointed.

I requested to be lighter on the chocolate but there was still a LOT of chocolate on our waffle. The mango smoothie was refreshing and sweet. I started going to Holy Choco when they first opened and their service was really good from some of the owner. Super attentive and caring staff. Unfortunately, it's since gone downhill since they've hired new staff and we had a number of small problems when visiting this time (dirty tables, dirty cutlery, requested if our food could be put in to go containers because they didn't want to do dishes, unfriendly, etc.) I hope they improve upon these staffing issues soon. Their seating area is good for friends and groups to loiter. Also, if you plan on bringing a laptop, they have MANY OUTLETS!!

The interior is nicely decorated with a cute angel photo op in the back, and window bar seats and couches to choose from. Great spot for 2-4 people. The only criticism I could have was it took a while to get our order. So, it's not one of those places you can be dipping into expecting to be done in 20mins! We stayed for nearly 3 hours and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.

When I saw the price was $9.90 per chocolate, I was honestly a little surprised, bc it's sold under 7 per chocolate in Korea. But they were running a promotion until the 15th -- 5 for $30 -- which made it much more reasonable. I've never had the original version sold in Korea, so I can't compare it directly, but from what I've seen and heard, it seems pretty similar to what's trending there. Korean reviews are overwhelmingly positive, and people say it tastes just like the viral version. The texture is definitely chewy, just like the name suggests, and it's very sweet. Personally, it was a bit too sweet for my taste, but that's just my preference. That being said, I gave some as gifts and they absolutely loved it. So if you enjoy rich, sweet desserts -- or you're looking for something trendy and fun to share -- this would be a great choice. The shop itself is small and cozy, but very welcoming. The staff were friendly and made the experience pleasant. Overall, even though it's not exactly my personal favorite flavor-wise, I can understand the hype. It's a fun treat to try at least once, especially if you've been curious about the viral Korean Dubai chocolate trend. I'd recommend stopping by and taking advantage of the promo while it lasts!
