Having never been, I wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Most ingredients are clean and many are locally provided; and if they're not, they'll mention it. Okay, hear me out. This place is one of the most overstimulating places in fast casual dining I've ever been to. The moment you walk in during a lunch rush, good luck being able to concentrate. I got the Mediterranean Harissa bowl because I couldn't even dare build my own bowl. The service is solid and the staff is always helpful and happy to make recommendations if needed. There is a parking lot to park in which is also a perk. I just made a pickup order. It could not have been all that long from the time it was made until picked up and I'm only 5 minutes away. The food is not cold in the least. There's hardly any of the poke, and I was willing to look over this until I saw that half spoonful of goat cheese. I paid $1 for a half spoon of goat cheese and $1.25 for extra sauce. Sauce cannot be THAT expensive that the charge is so high, given that it is most likely tossed at the end of the day and it is also not quite enough to cover the amount of food in the bowl, not to mention it was also not cold or even cool. I ended up just grabbing ranch from the fridge. I used to like this place but I don't think the quality or service that I tipped 15% on despite not being full table service would ever be worth it in the future. I also love Honest Mary's sipping broths, and enjoy their lemon and parsley, and ginger and turmeric add-ins. This is a fast casual restaurant where you order at the counter and pick your own ingredients for a healthy bowl, similar to Cava. It obviously depends on what you pick unless you got a pre-made signature bowl, but it tasted super good. The service was fine for a diy bowl place. The interiors are beautiful and modern, and a great place for friends to have brunch. It's not super loud in there, and there is plenty of seating both inside and outside on their little patio (the street area might be a little louder). I got the farmer's market bowl (instead of a protein, you can pick an additional veggie) with forbidden black rice, roasted broccoli, roasted brussel sprouts, and beets with cucumber salad topping. I loved the cucumber salad since it contains fresh cucumber, tomatoes, pickled onions, and red bell pepper. Highly recommend that to contrast all the warm roasted veggies. My husband and I stopped in for lunch on a Friday afternoon. We both decided to make our own bowls. I had known before coming here what foods would meet my needs as I am both gluten and dairy-free. Their allergen menu online is extremely helpful and advise checking out before coming here if you have those types of concerns. My bowl was arugula, steak, jalapenos, avocado, mushrooms, and roasted carrots. The dressing I choose was the ginger chili sriracha. My husband had a steak bowl with rice and other veggies. The bowl I made was just okay, nothing that made it stand out and honestly tasted a little bland. I would have appreciated some hot sauce or more seasoning to enhance the flavors. We had got an almond butter cookie that was both dairy and gluten-free for a dessert that was split. The cookie was dense and quite delicious, think pound cake.
