Our first visit here today. Easy parking in a big lot next to polite Fred Meyer. A nice eatery with many tables, very clean & well-organized. The order desk and the huge menu board on the wall are by the entrance. After consulting with the polite & knowledgeable server, hubby ordered mild spicy Paneer Tikka Sandwich, I had the Thali Platter (2 sambhars, 4 dishes, salad, rice, roti, mango lassi, dessert), and we shared the $1.40 huge bowl of tasty raita. Picked up our own water & tableware and sat down. A beautiful young lady brought trays of food to our table. DELICIOUS EVERYTHING! I've been here thrice now, all since the pandemic started. First things first, the place is clean and the cutlery is packed so you don't have to worry during these times. The first time I had Paani puri, Chinese bhel and Falooda. The paani puri is as good as it gets in the area, so in case you're craving, you would not be disappointed. The Chinese bhel was more like Hakka noodles and although I was surprised at my order, it was hot and tasty. The Falooda was okay. The second visit I had Bahubali grilled sandwich and Vada pav. The Bahubali grilled sandwich was very tasty. My recommendation is to share or split it given that it is quite heavy and tastes better when hot. Their Vada is quite authentic, but the pav was not soft. Most recent visit I had the Samosa grilled sandwich as a to go and it was very yummy. If you love Indian food, this is a must try. My wife and I ate lunch at this restaurant in Bellevue. She ordered Idlis, steamed rice and lentil dumpling like South Indian dish, which she thought was very good. I ordered Rava Masala Dosa -- a crepe with a potato filling, which I found to be flavorful and savory. If I could give rating for just the vada pav ... it would be 5 stars. If nothing else go here to taste the best vada pav I have had outside of India. Rest of the items I tried are nothing much to write about hence the overall 3 stars. Also this is my personal opinion, but stay away from the Chinese Indian items on the menu. I wouldn't want anyone to get the wrong impression about what it should actually be. They are nothing like the Indo chinese food I love. Love everything on the menu here. We've tried their special pav bhaji in NJ and they have the same taste here. Last time I went, we ordered bahubali sandwich and dabangg dosa. It was toooo much cheese and extremely filling, but was delicious. Hard to find ANYTHING negative about this place - coz the food - they said - was authentic Mumbai-style street food and they did not disappoint! Owners (I think) Anand & Falguni do a splendid job of keeping it real and consistently high in quality; I would know because I went in first on a Friday, and then was quite wowed by the food & the service to go back in the next day with my wife and, then with eight friends & family a couple days later - each visit was consistently awesome! We were comparing a handful of Seattle chaat places with those in Surrey BC and this came out on par, if not better. It definitely is in the top two Seattle Chaat places! And that's saying something especially since they're only open a year! So yeah - absolutely no need to drive all the way across the border to Payal Plaza in Surrey BC to get good Chaat. Stick with Seattle, coz honestly, Honest has it down! Hands down, my favorite was the Falooda drink (rose flavored w/ dry fruit) - 5/5 - this is my poison and will keep me coming back over and over again! Other favorites were: - the basic Pav bhaji: 4.5/5 - get this with an extra pav which, by the way, is made from scratch and deserves a 5-star in itself especially since it's lathered with Amul butter & artfully toasted! - the Bahubali sandwich, 5/5, which is a marvel as long as you're dining in. I'm now inspired to try the other sandwiches - the Vada pav, 5/5 - just like Mumbai - the Dabeli - 4.5/5 - pure awesomeness in the potato filling & the pav although I would've liked the English-muffin type bread like they serve on the streets of Pune! - the Dahi Puri - 5/5; I tried the Pani Puri and thought it was a 4/5, but Falguni insisted I try this - the Dahi Puri as well - and it far exceeded my expectations. Fair to say that it's not Delhi-style and while I don't really know what a Mumbai style dahi puri should taste like, I know that we loved this enough that we ordered almost 3 more portions when we came back with friends! A supremely tasty & refreshing start to the meal, imho. - Dosas... 4.5/5, we tried both the traditional basic butter masala dosa and the Dabang dosa - and I would get the traditional dosa again any day! The dabang dosa was not my thing probably because we were all cheesed out from the bahubali sandwich but if you're into a more cheese - go for this! The dosa was a 5/5, but the sambar & chutney were a 4/5 as they tasted more north Indian than South Indian. (I am from Chennai - so hard to please me with any sambar not prepared like they do in Chennai or in Iyer/Iyengar homes). - Hakka Noodles, 4/5. I will be back for more Indo-Chinese but this sample did not disappoint. If the wok was hotter and the noodles cooked just 30 seconds longer they would've been smokier than what i tasted - closer to the street version of the noodles. Stopped by for dinner last week and the place was quite crowded for a Covid Wednesday. Tables were spaced well apart, sanitizer available and everyone wearing masks and being respectful which was good to see. The Wada Pav was mixed emotions. The wada was hot and fresh and tasted nice. The pav however was so cold and dry and stale that it just ruined it. Needed to douse it with chutney to compensate. Given that this is probably one of my all time favorite foods and something I grew up eating literally 3-4 times a week, I was unimpressed. Next time I'll just stick to the plain wada maybe. The Pav Bhaaji was not bad but nothing to write home about. The pav was smothered in butter and warm and toasty which reminded me of home. The bhaaji was mehhhh. It lacked flavor and was high on artificial food coloring. Also, no onions or cilantro or chilies or lime, just pav and bhaaji. Those are quintessential elements of the dish and it is very much incomplete without them. My friend ordered the Bahubali Sandwich. It was huge and apparently tasted quite good but was somewhat of an overkill according to him. It just had too much going on. His biggest critique was that while the first piece tasted nice when it was hot and fresh, the rest of the sandwich got cold and soggy really quick and was not enjoyable. This is worth ordering if you're sharing it among 4 people and can eat it right off the grill. Overall the food was kind of okayish. What a reasonably priced Indian street food spot in Seattle.. this place serves the best vada pav in town.. pretty close to the one we get in Bombay with the theeki meethi chutney (this was okay felt the meethi chutney was a little watery) and authentic chilli (fried green chilli) and lasoon dry chutney.. the pav bhaji was nice too it did have authentic street food flavors but could have been a little more spicy but i do understand they cater to majority of folks who may not like it super spicy like I do.. generous amount of butter in the pav and the bhaji.. the veggie cheese grill sandwich was good but lacked little more chaat masala to give it the authentic mumbai sandwich taste.. also adding ketchup to the sandwich along with the green chutney and more chaat masala will replicate the Mumbai veg grilled cheese sandwich better.. Finally could not resist ordering rhe Rose falooda.. i am a huge fan of royal falooda in Mumbai and this one was pretty close.. missed the tootie fruity but good fresh dry fruits and authentic royal falooda flavor.. This restaurant is doing pretty well during the pandemic.. place the order at the counter the order will be delivered to your table.. half the tables are blocked to practice social distancing.. once done we have to keep the trays at a separate station.. they are trying to keep it as contactless as possible.. one request- since you are open for dine in it may be a good idea to have a hand sanitizer at every table open for dine in.. it is convenient for your customers to use the hand sanitizer when they need it at their table.. this restaurant is right next to Apna Bazaar hence 10/10 for location since it appeals to the indian crowd visiting for grocery shopping (which is what happened to me and I am not complaining).. I went in with few friends today to eat my most favorite Bahubali sandwich and realized that it was missing the sweet sauce I love that makes it special. My husband and I experienced what we perceived as a micro aggression after being asked to leave the premises by a staff person because another customer wanted to sit at our table. We received our food at approximately 1:25 pm on 3/2/24 and the staff person asked us to leave at approximately 2:20pm. We were seated with our food for less than an hour. It is highly unusual to ask a customer to leave within 60-90 minutes. We found it hard to believe that all of the other families in the restaurant were asked to do the same. Honest Restaurant did not update their New Year's hours (closed all day) on Google, or on the various food delivery Apps, or on Yelp. So UberEats accepted my Honest restaurant order today (Jan 1). Then the order status screen kept saying "will be ready" for an hour and would not cancel by itself. UberEats staff refused to cancel my order and refund when I contacted them via their chat and mentioned that the restaurant was closed. One of them even said that the order is already out for delivery (even though it was a pickup order at a closed restaurant)! Someone at Honest who answered my call said that even though the restaurant is closed, they cannot cancel the UberEats order due to no access to the computers. He said just be patient and the order will cancel automatically. It never did until my fifth attempt with UberEats chat finally succeeded. The food here is very good from my past experiences. But they need to figure out how to prevent orders from coming through when the restaurant is closed. To be fair to Honest, UberEats customer service is even worse at 1 out of 5 stars. read more

Restaurant has a weak management.Complex system of fetching food where you need to remember the number of table you have when u order at reception. Hands down the best Vada pav and Pav Bhaji I have tasted in the Seattle area. Seating area looks huge and open. The veggie grilled sandwich was yum too. The only thing that was average tasting was the schezwan fried rice and manchurian. I have always placed a TOGO order so I cannot comment in store service. However take outs have been very convenient. Everyone is wearing a mask and safety precautions seem more than satisfactory. This is a must try place. Recently came across this place and we're liking it so far. A lot of the dishes are reminiscent of popular Bombay street food. We liked the Vada Pav (also seemed to be one of the most popular items there), Bahubali sandwich is nice but huge. We liked the pav bhaji too, definitely order extra pav as you'll need it. I have been eating Honest from back in India so I had my expectations a bit high. When I had during their initial days the quality, quantity and taste was same as in India. Now after 1.5-2 years of their opening their quality, quantity and taste everything has gone down. Every weekend I order pickup or dine in their still hoping their get back to same taste as it was before. The front desk people are very rude and that makes it worst. First of all, I was asked to changed the table just because someone else had 7 members with her and they wanted to join the tables. Then after waiting for 30 mins, finally received my order. Both the dosa were cold. I don't understand when it is a dine-in order, how can you provide the COLD food? How can someone eat cold dosa? Rava dosa was half broken as if someone else ate it. On approaching the person who was taking the orders, response was - "rava dosa comes like this always. I can't be removed as full dosa from stove". I have been eating rava dosa throughout my life and it never came half gone like someone ate it. If your cook don't know how to make rava dosa, don't add in your menu. Sambhar and masala (dosa filling) didn't have salt at all and there were no veggies in sambhar. I am sure it you would have faced issues like cold food in any restaurant that is not being operated by an Indian, they would have tried their 100% to make it right for you but the guy who was taking orders here just turned a deaf ear. Indian restaurants are just exploiting the fact that there areamy indians and low variety restaurants. If this is the quality of Dosa you want to serve please remove it from the menu. We are proud to announce that we have found our new Chaat place in Seattle. It took us 2.5 months, but the Chaat was worth the wait. We got Dahi Puri, Bhel Puri, a Paapdi Chat, and Masala Chai. They have a huge hall where it would be really fun to sit and noisily eat Chaat, but Covid scenes have made indoor dining all but impossible. We ordered at the front desk and had to wait for about 15 minutes to get our food. Not because Chaat takes that long, but because they have been overwhelmed with online orders.
