Not the best photo because I'd already been eating but everything here was DELICIOUS
    Stephanie A.

We checked in at our hotel, scanned the neighborhood, and selected Bhojan Xpress for lunch and now we are guaranteed nothing will go wrong because this somewhat random choice led to one of the best lunches ever! First, be sure to ask about samosas because they might not be listed on the menu. We asked, they had them, and they were delicious!! Next, you can order your entree with rice or bread. We tried one of each, which worked great for sharing. This is vegetarian restaurant and the food is full of flavor. We tried 2 paneers and a korma and they were all amazing. Lassi is available in at least 6 flavors, I tried the peach and highly recommend adding this to your order. YUM YUM YUM!

We tried masala dosa and sambar vada and the food was decent. The service was fast but its a small place with not many tables to sit. Its a good south indian place that you could try.

This is a Togo order. Bhojan express was named for its quality. It's so bad I called the restaurant and advised them not to provide this kind of food for customers. My request to people to check your Togo orders before you leave. The roti was uncooked. There is no taste, no thickness, runny curry on both paneer butter masala and saag paneer. See for urself on the photo. Very disappointed. I will not eat this to end up in a hospital. Please be responsible when you run a food business. Value the money that customers pay. Give quality food to ensure their safety.

I was HYPED to try this place after reading the reviews and wanted it to be good so badly. But tbh the paneer was hard/stale for the chili plate? The gulab jamun didn't seem fresh and the curries were so small for the price . Might have to go with chutney lunch over this . I may be back to try the butter chicken because the flavor for the curry was good. FYI they are only serving vegetarian!

Yummers! Never have I ever thought I'd be so into vegetarian place.. but alas it has happened! And this was it. Food so tasty, I love the veggies. Mama be so proud! They have all kinds of fritters, bread, dosas, curries and even some Indo-Chinese food which I have yet to try. Ordering through DoorDash usually is a breeze here. Phone orders tend to take forever longer than quoted time. Even DoorDash too since they get so busy here. Food I like so far! Aloo tikis - spicy potato cakes/ patties! Come with delicious sauces and a ton of chopped onions. Green Chillis grounded inside potatoes. It's hot! Malabar paratha/ layers! Saag paneer: tasty Sambar: it comes with combo bread option. I like the tangy taste . Chickpea vada: crispy fried and super crunchy and filling. Comes with coconut green sauce. I've tried their curries and bread. But the appetizers/ snacks are a winner. Especially the fried ones. Sometimes it takes a while ( 1 hour plus wait) for take out. But if you use delivery apps, it can be faster. But food is good either way! All vegetarian!

Bhojan Xpress is located in a very busy strip mall in downtown Bellevue, so be prepared to fight for a parking spot with the Facing East, Boiling Point, and other tenant customers! Lucky for me, it was a short walk from my office, and I checked out this spot at lunch. You order at the counter, and the staff will prepare your meal from the pre-cooked curry dishes on display. The food goes in a high quality microwaveable plastic tupperwear container and the signage around the spot indicates it's popular for takeout and delivery. There are only a few small tables inside and two tables outside, so I would not recommend going in a large group. I felt like the inside felt too stuffy, so I sat outside by the parking lot. The food itself was good. They don't ask for level of spice, but I found the saag paneer to have a bit of a bite to it and the butter chicken to be extremely mild. With most curry dishes, I expect more sauce than meat, but there were only a few small pieces of chicken in my scoop, so that was disappointing. The saag paneer was okay but pretty liquidy. I enjoyed the garlic naan on the side with these dishes. Good lunch spot for quick Indian food, and they have a 10% discount for Yelp check-ins.

Bhojan Rice Combo with Chicken Tikka Masala & Chana Masala

Stop your searching and go straight to Bhojan. Friendly service, generous portions & delicious Indian food. We grabbed a rice combo with chicken tikka masala and chana masala and an order of samosas. This was plenty of food for 2 people to feel comfortably full. The only reason I wish we order two combos is so I didn't have to share! Very clean flavors and simple. Some of the best garlic naan we've ever had. Everything was lovely and warm and we took it back to our car to eat. They make their samosas fresh so It was piping hot when it cracked into them. A lot of times when I eat Indian it can leave me feeling too full and blah. Not Bhojan!!

I ordered delivery from here and am so glad I tried it! I ordered the butter chicken combo, which came with basmati rice and naan. The portion didn't look very large at first but it was huge and made for a few meals! The naan was fresh and warm when I received it and a HUGE portion. The butter chicken was flavorful and creamy and filling. I've passed by this place before in Bellevue but never stopped in, so I'm glad I finally decided to try it.

Tucked in the strip mall same as boiling point, they offer a huge variety of menu items. Also talk about xpresss!!All their food as promised came out within 20 minutes which is pretty impressive for how much different items they had to make. Wait time is definitely less than other competitors in the area They have all our usual favorites, chicken 65, biryani, dosa, garlic naan! I think their best items was the chilli paneer and the rice of the biryani. Chicken pieces in biryani were a bit dry for my taste but the raita helped. Overall the price is average and their portions are big! Would definitely want to come and try out their sets sometime around. They have a variety of them like curry, dosa, or even appetizer sets!

Overall this place is pricey and tip is included so you can't except great service. I would go back here for drinks. But our experience today was awful. We finally stopped in, and I'm sad that we didn't do so sooner. Started off strong with an item from their mocktail menu: peach passion iced tea. Despite the name, there's no passion fruit in it. Just peach. But it is the best peach iced tea I've ever had. It's so good, I ordered two. They bring it to you on a fun little tray of dry ice. For appetizers we got the classic samosas and galouti kabob. Both very good! The chutneys that they come with were also great compliments to the dishes. Our entrees we tried their chicken tikka masala, which comes with jasmine rice. Was very flavorful, and we really enjoyed it and the presentation. I tried a new dish I've never had, the biryani, after suggestion from our waiter. I was torn between this dish and the tropical coconut curry. I'm so glad I chose this! Spicy, 3/5 stars, but so flavorful. The raita that came with the dish was insane. It was so incredibly flavorful, and I made sure to get a little dish to go with my leftovers. We showed up at 5:30, and were the only people in the spot as they had just opened. However they quickly began filling up, and by the time we left the place was packed. If you want to come after 6 pm, definitely recommend a reservation so you don't have to wait!

It's nice to see that not only does it serve good Indian good, but its ambiance is great for group gatherings. My colleagues and I visited Chutney's for our birthday lunch and we had a fun time here. The menu offers a lot and unlike what Chutney's used to offer, they no longer have the weekday lunch buffet. Instead, they offer their all day menu which is plenty to choose from. For the three of us, we decided to partake in family style dining, which is what I recommend since you can try more of the items. We ordered the biryani, garlic naan, exotic curry and the tikka mushrooms. And I had the mango coconut mocktail for my drink. Everything we ordered was tasty. It seemed like every table had the biryani, which comes out in a dish that has a baked dough on top. The server cuts it open and there you see the fragrant rice with the spices and meat. I recommend trying! But be warned that this was actually a lot spicier than we expected. It was good, but something to be cautious about if you don't like spicy food. The exotic curry was also nice, especially to go with the biryani. We ended up choosing the lamb with it, and the lamb was very tender. Tikka mushrooms were also a nice addition, adding in some veggies, completing our meal. Our server was Hira and he was super friendly. He found out it was our birthday lunch and they actually play a birthday song on the speakers! That was fun. I'm glad we visited Chutney's 2.0, which is a solid place for Indian food in downtown Bellevue.

I'd say overall, the menu was a little pricey, but they've got some pretty unique offerings. Parking is pretty easy as it's a shared lot with crossroads. They definitely don't skimp on the saffron, so if you enjoy that floral, slightly herbal flavor, this will be the dessert for you. Jalebi Rabri came out piping hot and it's got a crunch that once you bite through, the sugar syrup just gushes out. It's definitely tasty, but it was SO sweet. I'd probably put in an order and share this with a group as more than one in a sitting might be a bit tough. Banarasi Lassi was just a little tart, creamy, and had a little bit of saffron swirled through. It had just a touch of the floral saffron flavor and the sliced almonds on top were a nice touch.
