I wish there could be a 0 star rating. In full transparency, I have not tasted anything from this place, and I am extremely glad and feel fortunate that I did not. I ran into this place at about 8:45 PM on Sunday 8/9/20 and ordered a Chicken 65 appetizer and a Lamb Biriyani. I was told the biriyani was "dum cooked" for 4 hours, but I was given a wait time of 10 minutes, which I assumed was for the chicken. Nothing could have prepared me for what I saw. I was on a call for about 5 mins with a friend and and after that was trying to figure out what's going on with the order. They have a view of the kitchen from the lobby and I saw that my appetizer and biriyani were packed (I was the only one left). Then I saw some discussion inside and one of their staff picking things with her bare hands from the biriyani! The person in the cash then came over to the lobby and asked for a further 5 mins! I told him what I saw and denied the food from the restaurant, and his response instead of any kind of apology, was that it was for someone else! I had to get out from there as fast as I can. I denied the food and the refund. I am posting this in hope that at least a few of you would see this. AVOID, genuinely! We ordered from Bhojan Express twice during the last couple weeks and both the times the biryani was completely stale. This is unacceptable! I understand covid times have made it hard to sustain the business but circulating food that may cause health issues is just WRONG. This place is a DREAM COME TRUE!!!!! The one thing that is always difficult with your everyday Indian restaurant is that you want multiple things but your budget doesn't allow multiple entrees!! This place lets you get a combo with different options so you really feel like you got the whole experience and burst of flavors!! Not to mention they give you a large nann bread too and it ties the whole meal together. I get the combo with Saag Paneer and Chicken Tika Masala. My bf gets the Lamb Vindaloo and the Butter Chicken. Their chicken Briyani is really good and their Karahi chicken is one of the best in greater Seattle-Bellevue area. We always do take out from here. It's a small hole in the wall. I've tried three of their biryanis--the chicken Briyani (still my favorite), chicken dum Briyani, and goat Briyani. I don't usually like Goat but this place does goat right. Still chicken Briyani is my favorite from here. I've also tried the Lamb fry--it's interesting but not something you can get every time. Before the pandemic hit, I used to come out here for lunch all the the time. Very decent Indian food, with generous portions, for a reasonable price. They were occasionally slow during the lunch rush, but the food hits the spot so I was always willing to wait. At the time, the guy who worked the front was really nice. Had a craving for some Indian food, today. Wanted to support a local small business given these uncertain times, so we headed over to Bhojan's to order some stuff to go. Their menu had changed since my last visit and the lady working the front seemed annoyed when I needed clarification about a couple items. I found her responses to be a little rude. They seem overwhelmed with app based orders and we ended up waiting a long time for our food (almost 30 mins). No one working, including the entire cook staff, was wearing a mask. As much as I want to support local businesses, I expect these businesses to do what they can to help protect the community right now. Although the food is still good, I'm not sure I'll be returning. The discourteous interaction, long wait time, and perceived apathy towards public health will likely deter me from another visit any time soon read more

Been there at least 7x as it's next to my place so easy walk over while walking my pups and food is great. The place is called express, so one would expect faster service which isn't the case most of the time. BUT! I would be willing to wait 15 mins every time I go as food is good and convenient. Tonight I came and this lady on the counter took 5x try to try to call her to order even though she knew I was there waiting... she was too busy chatting about her day off the next day. And once she took my order, you can tell her voice was irritated for having to take my order and said it'll be 10 mins... which was not a big deal except all she did for first 5 mins was run her mouth again about her day off. I am very impressed with this Indian restaurant. I have catered and ate at many Indian restaurants in Seattle and this one really stood out. We catered for an office event and I placed an order through grub hub. They have a variety of dishes available online. Some very traditional Indian dishes that were kinda foreign to me but also had the usual that we like. I ordered Veggie and a chicken biryani which was very tasty. Everything was cooked well and all the spices were mixed well. I had ordered a medium maybe should have gone with mild as it had a kick to it. Butter chicken was more on the gravy soupy side but was still tasty. The manchurian is delicious!!! It's my favorite and it was prepared so well I could have eaten the entire pan. The Chana and veggie curry was tasty and spicy as well. All the naans were fresh and tasty we had garlic, butter and plain. Wish they did catering pan sizes instead of individual take out containers. I am fan of Goat curry and it serves really good goat curry that goat meat is tender and juicy, falling off the bone. 3. Lamb is also very good, not that hard to chew as some other places. 4.
