Home Team Pest Defense in Temple is fantastic. Robert has been our provider for 12+ years & has been on top of our care. He's amazing. Thank you Robert!! read more

This company doesn't check via email or text if day and time is ok for you. They leave a VM for date, show up, and spray outside. We often want the inside of our garage or certain problem areas in our house treated and recently paid thousands for an herb garden to be installed in our backyard (cooking/teas) and didn't know someone was coming while we went for a walk. Upon returning, we saw bill on door. Our home was treated on the outside. I never received verfication after calling about cancelling them and asked if they sprayed the herb garden. We will have to re-plant our herb garden. read more

Great service at a reasonable price. I've used Home Team for years and have zero complaints. Definitely recommend!

These people are the worst. Average time spent on pest control was 8 to 10 minutes yet the exterminator would write down that he was here for 20 to 25 minutes. He would only concentrate where the camera was (ring doorbell) and not do anything in the back. I was home every time when he came and then would just leave and write that we didn't answer door bell. Also was charging my credit card automatically without my permission and leaving a bill so that I was paying twice. These people are really shady and cannot be trusted! read more

We have had pest service through Home Team for about a year and a half. As a military family we are preparing to move to a new installation. I have been mostly happy with the services as they have come out between if needed...we still always had some kind of ant situation but nothing too serious. That and occasionally when I would call asking for additional care sometimes the technician seemed to not get the message from the call taker which are the only reasons I haven't given a 5 star review. I called today to see about move out treatments required by our property management company and Porche was thorough, professional, understanding and was conceivably the BEST service I have gotten as we prepare to move across all the different services we need to PCS. She is a true addition to the team there and should be recognized for her excellence! Because of her and all the technicians who came out to treat our property who were friendly and professional, if we ever get stationed here again or if I am asked who to use I would say Home Team, hands down. read more

Staff were very courteous over the phone and was able to set up an appointment the following week. The technician(Curtis) came a few minutes early from the scheduled appointment which was nice! Curtis was friendly and courteous and explained the 5 visits they do to treat whatever pest you have. I like how they wear the booties over their shoes. First visit was good. I noticed little baby spiders were dead and even the birds stopped perching in our patio which leaves pooped on the patio floor! I can't wait for the next visit in 30 days, they will treat the yard. since I can't seemed to get rid off the ants. They just keep moving around the yard! I highly recommend them, and they even give military discount! And reasonable price too! read more

I used HomeTeam for about a year and a half when living in Georgetown after the initial 'green' pest company's spraying didn't do the trick, and they wouldn't come out again for three weeks. My technicians were Frank (most of the time) and sometimes Jason, who were both very nice and helpful. This was a new home in a growing subdivision where lots of critters were always getting stirred up, so I had more bugs than anywhere else I had ever lived combined in my first month alone (and I lived in Houston for 8.5 years!), but they were always willing to come out to treat any flare-ups, which says a lot. They also answered a number of questions I had in a timely manner, which was much appreciated. Living in TX means lots of bugs, and while I know stuff will always get into one's house, I still feel like the treatments could have been more effective, and thus, the one-star demerit. Perhaps I could have found a better company, but I'm certain I could have found worse ones. read more

Their scheduling has been erratic. Initially they would arrive every 2 months, even though we were on a quarterly contract. This would increase their revenue per year from $400 to $600. Customer service acted all surprised when I called them. I LITERALLY had to count the days on the calendar between services before they understood what quarterly meant. This last time, they scheduled on a 4-month interval instead of 3. I assumed they no longer wanted our business as they simply cannot adhere to the schedule agreed upon in the contract. We found another service and I called to cancel. They said we are required to provide 30-day written notice prior to the next service. Ok, maybe technically per contract. But they don't manage their calendars and leave the homeowner completely in the dark as to the 'next service date'. Is the homeowner the only party in the contract expected to uphold the agreement? Not worth the effort! Plenty of other reliable pest services in the marketplace. read more

Pretty sneaky of HomeTeam in the Temple, TX area. Been a customer for 11 years. Usually pay by credit card online. I guess they keep a record of one's credit card number. They went ahead and used the card and paid themselves for service done 2 days ago. We did not authorize this and they never asked permission to so. THEY HAVE NEVER DONE THAT BEFORE. Thanks to them, our budget for the month has been messed up. read more

I have done business with Home Team Pest Control for a few years. Recently I had a tech show up to my house without an appointment and spray only the front of the house. Then he left me a note saying that he can't do the rest because I have dogs. (I know that is why I did not schedule him to come when I was not there.) He also left me the bill for spraying doing the whole house. Why should I pay a bill for the whole thing, when only 1/4 of the work was done???? I requested a bill reflecting the work that was done, but they have not sent it to me. I have reached out by email and phone. Very Frustrated, James Miller read more

My wife and I bought our home one year ago, the one year warranty has come to end. I first spoke with Duvall and I'm glad I did. He was professional and answered all my questions. I met with Jason C today. He was on time, professional and very polite. He explained all the services and he even interacted with my dogs. I'm very impressed with meeting both gentlemen. Thank you Jason and Duvall for making me a happy customer, oh my pets too. read more

Do not use this specific branch, not helpful. miscommunication is evident. Very unhappy with my recent experience due to lack of proper communication. Omar the manager not customer service focused. Not willing to work with me as a home owner. You have better odds somewhere else where common sense is appreciated. read more

Robert....does a great job. Always lets us know what's going on with any issues . Rarely have any because he is on top of them.

We are very pleased with the service this company provides. Our technician, Robert, listened patiently to our special instructions (due to our butterfly garden and pet) and handled our needs quite well. read more

When we bought our new house, Home Team's piping and outdoor adapter were included and preset up on our place. We thought- what a cool idea! Then, we've lived with it and their horrible service for the past 4 months. Our house has been over run with spiders pretty much since the day we moved in. My wife has repeatedly called Home Team and their lazy technician comes out, sprays as little as possible- completely ignoring the wasp and mud dobber nests ABOVE our front door and leaves. We previously had White Knight Pest Control but switched since Home Team boasts that no one has to be home in order for your house to get sprayed... well, a lot of good that does when the spraying into the walls isn't actually doing anything to stop the spiders from hiding in your shoes (true story). read more

I am very pleased with their service. They were fast, courteous and respectful of my time and my home and property.

I like the ease of service. We get a courtesy call a week ahead of time with the name of the technician. He arrives on the appointed day and performs the service, which is on the outside of the house. We have a portal system that goes into the walls, so the technician never needs to enter the house (my cats appreciate that!) He will ring the doorbell when he is finished to see if there were any concerns we had. If we are not home, he leaves a detailed report on the front door. The other thing I like is automatic payment. We don't have to get bills every month and have to remember where we put them when it comes time to pay. read more

We've been customers of Home Team Pest Control for over 5 years. We've had the same technician the entire time. Robert is the main reason we've continued with them. He is courteous, friendly, and always asks if we need any extra focus. He even knocks down all dirt dobber nests and sweeps away cobwebs! When we've had ants or scorpions (there's lots of construction around here in Sun City) and his extra trips have always been at no extra charge. I like the convenience provided with yearly charge that takes care of everything and insures that I have a bug-free home. read more
