One thing I really appreciated was that they identified a honey bee colony on my property. Instead of simply treating it, they let me know so I could have the bees safely rehomed before they started producing honey inside my walls. That level of care and attention really stood out. The quarterly exterior treatments have been well worth it for me. Wasps and ants are a recurring issue around my home, so keeping up with regular service has made a big difference. If I have a specific problem between visits, like a wasp nest, they're quick to come out and take care of it. Most of what I need is included in the annual service. Mosquito treatment is an additional charge, but that's separate from the standard plan. I also appreciate that they don't push unnecessary interior treatments when there aren't any issues. Their pricing is competitive, and their payment and scheduling system is excellent. It's easy to manage appointments, and they're very responsive by text whenever I have a question or need service. Overall, I've been very happy with Atex and would definitely recommend them.

After talking to a few pest companies, not only did they get the species of ants wrong (acrobat vs carpenter) which affects the bait being used, but they also can't get their story straight. I contacted them about an ant infestation inside my home. The technician who came out placed sugar bait inside to eliminate colony. He told me that an exterior treatment was not necessary at that time. I accepted that recommendation, due to potential exposure for my active dog. Months later, I called to follow up because the ant problem had not been resolved. I was then told the $216.50 treatment of simply adding sugar bait for the interior also included exterior treatment during the original visit. That was surprising because I was never told an exterior treatment had been done. When I asked where it had been applied, they did not give me a clear answer regarding the exterior. Paying for another treatment isn't the issue. If the ants require another visit, I'm happy to pay for it. My concern is that the explanation of what was actually done has changed. Now, they're saying I have to pay another $216 for their services again. Something just isn't adding up. If there's a reasonable explanation, I'd like to hear it. Based on the conflicting information, I have little confidence in their service.

I worked for weeks (8 phone calls) to resolve this with them and they charged us $500+ service cancellation fee. I then got a notice they were sending my account to collections if we did not immediately pay the $500 fee. Customers satisfaction is not their goal.

All of the technicians have been stellar, but specifically I wanted to mention Burton - he has come to our house on multiple occasions and is always very polite, informative and thorough. Burton always goes the extra mile to check everything out around the house before he leaves, beyond the areas we've mentioned, and always chats with me on his way out to let me know what was applied, how it was applied, and any follow up steps (an engineer's dream). Last week, I had an infestation of Acrobat Ants in our breakfast area. Talked to King's Wed afternoon and their man John was here first thing Thurs morning. He spent extra time inside and out and found the source of the nest hidden within the walls. Said I would continue to see some dead ant bodies for a few days, but the problem was solved. The chemical they use has a strong order and after 12 days I still can't get it off my floor and baseboards after trying 3 different cleaning solutions. The product gives me a headache and does NOT go away. And of course the worst room is my TV room. I have also tried ventilation and a fan (their suggestion) and obviously that doesn't remove the product. They offered no other solution, to come check it out, or expressed concern. Just repeated they used the product recommended and applied it correctly. Not sure how the person in the office would know that. They even sprayed it on some blankets I had in one of the rooms. The gal on the phone said the tech wouldn't do that. Was not impressed. Even when I cancelled my servcie they did not care...just let us know if we can help you in the future. LOL I'll pass!
