One thing I really appreciated was that they identified a honey bee colony on my property. Instead of simply treating it, they let me know so I could have the bees safely rehomed before they started producing honey inside my walls. That level of care and attention really stood out. The quarterly exterior treatments have been well worth it for me. Wasps and ants are a recurring issue around my home, so keeping up with regular service has made a big difference. If I have a specific problem between visits, like a wasp nest, they're quick to come out and take care of it. Most of what I need is included in the annual service. Mosquito treatment is an additional charge, but that's separate from the standard plan. I also appreciate that they don't push unnecessary interior treatments when there aren't any issues. Their pricing is competitive, and their payment and scheduling system is excellent. It's easy to manage appointments, and they're very responsive by text whenever I have a question or need service. Overall, I've been very happy with Atex and would definitely recommend them.

We pay for the regular treatments, but if critters start popping up between the service, they'll come out and re-treat (usually for free) - we cannot recommend Stride enough, if you're on the fence and reading this right now, you won't make the wrong decision to go with Stride. All of the technicians have been stellar, but specifically I wanted to mention Burton - he has come to our house on multiple occasions and is always very polite, informative and thorough. Burton always goes the extra mile to check everything out around the house before he leaves, beyond the areas we've mentioned, and always chats with me on his way out to let me know what was applied, how it was applied, and any follow up steps (an engineer's dream). He even mentioned we should shoot him/Stride a text in 1-2 weeks to let him know if our attic ant issue is resolved. Thank you Burton! Stride really cares about their customers, and they do a killer job. There's a reason they are rated 5.0 stars on Google, Yelp & Facebook, and not 4.9 or lower.

I do not see any more termite activity either. So the big question is, was it worth the cost? Well that depends on your finances and whether you can spare the $53+ monthly charge for 4 annual visits. We decided to cancel after a year to cut back on some expenses. And as I mentioned in the previous review, you'll get a text, which gives you the opportunity to also leave review and a tip. Overall, the service did what it was supposed to. They can also come out to do a single treatment which we will keep in mind.

He took the time to explain everything and patiently answer all my questions. I also liked how they offered a complimentary vulnerability assessment during the initial visit. Basically looked around the exterior of the home and noted potential areas where bugs can enter. It wasn't extremely thorough but for a free service that essentially works against them, it was pretty helpful. The techs are always really nice and easy to talk to.

After talking to a few pest companies, not only did they get the species of ants wrong (acrobat vs carpenter) which affects the bait being used, but they also can't get their story straight. I contacted them about an ant infestation inside my home. The technician who came out placed sugar bait inside to eliminate colony. He told me that an exterior treatment was not necessary at that time. I accepted that recommendation, due to potential exposure for my active dog. Months later, I called to follow up because the ant problem had not been resolved. I was then told the $216.50 treatment of simply adding sugar bait for the interior also included exterior treatment during the original visit. That was surprising because I was never told an exterior treatment had been done. When I asked where it had been applied, they did not give me a clear answer regarding the exterior. Paying for another treatment isn't the issue. If the ants require another visit, I'm happy to pay for it. My concern is that the explanation of what was actually done has changed. Now, they're saying I have to pay another $216 for their services again. Something just isn't adding up. If there's a reasonable explanation, I'd like to hear it. Based on the conflicting information, I have little confidence in their service.

These guys are seriously the best. I was dealing with a terrible, awful rodent problem in my attic. It was a nightmare. I could hear them day and night, VERY loud. I called five different companies to come out and give me a quote to deal with the problem - ABC, Terminix, all the big names and a few local companies - and they all were trying to charge me $1500+. And nobody would offer me a real warranty because I have a metal roof - they wouldn't even step foot on it. One guy told me that this was just a problem I was going to have to deal with as long as I lived at my house, and I'd never really be able to get rid of them. So I tried to handle the problem myself for about 6 months, to no avail. I couldn't figure out for the life of me how these critters were getting into my attic - I thought I sealed every potential opening but they were still finding their way in. I set traps myself, but they were outsmarting me. In my desperation, I decided to try calling a few more companies to come out and take a look. I wish I would have found Mike with DM Pest Control earlier - it would have saved me so many headaches. He's professional, extremely responsive, and really knows what he is doing. He found openings around my house and on my roof that the other companies missed, sealed them up, and has caught 5 or 6 massive rats (gross!). At this point I think the problem has mostly been dealt with, but I know that if I hear anything in my attic again, I can text Mike and he'll respond within hours to schedule an appointment. The best part - they charged me one third of what everyone else quoted me. And unlike literally every other company, they gave me a warranty to back up their work. We were having a horrible flea problem. We have one outdoor pet, our dog, and even Frontline was no use in combating the issue. To compound things, I discovered I am allegic to flea bites. Who knew that was even a thing? My parther was at their wit's end and sent an email to D. M. Pest Control. The next day it was D.M. Pest (in the form of Joseph) to the rescue. He showed genuine concern for my issue and explained the process of their treatment and warranty. They were able to apply the treatment to both my house and yard the next day by none other that the owner of the company Jefry. That's right the company owner came out and sprayed every inch of my yard and home (yes I watched him the whole time in amazement). He had let me know I may want to leave for 4 hours while the fumes were active. I packed the pets, and stayed away for the timeframe. He also advised that I vacuum everyday for 7 days (that is key, so if you contact them, I suggest you follow their advise to the letter). When I arrived home, I had dead fleas...everywhere. Every day I vacuumed, dead or dying little buggars came in the canister. I waited a week to write this review, so I could honestly say this statement, "We have no fleas!". We were having problems with noises in our attic and then one day I popped my head up the attic opening and saw a huge raccoon which ran to the other side of the attic. We then started hearing noises in our attic. I set my own trap and tried to catch it but no dice. So we called several Pest Control and Rodent Removal companies. The first company came out and charged us to get an estimate and were very expensive. We called a couple of other companies and got some advice then called DM Pest Control. They gave us a very reasonable price range and very competitive, so competitive we were hesitant to hire them. But when Joseph came out and gave us a free estimate and he was very professional, nice and honest. We decided to try them and Joseph did a great job and caught the raccoon babies and helped patch up the hole. He was very professional and personable. I would recommend Joseph and DM Pest Control for any rodent or pest services. What would compel me to write a review for a pest control company? Let's face it... not exactly the most glamorous service in the world, and typically it's an "out of sight out of mind" service provider. Do they get rid of pests? Yes, of course. That part is a given. They are terrific about coming out when I need them and addressing any critter issue we might have. But here's what makes them GREAT: It's how they take care of me. Need to get in touch? A text is fine, even when it's 'after hours' or on a Sunday. I always get a response from the business owner, Jefry. Over the past five years, every single service but one has been performed by the same employee: RICK. I actually look forward to seeing Rick -- he is easygoing, punctual, thorough, respectful, clean, and just as nice as he can be. EVERY SINGLE TIME. That consistency has created a level of trust that I value. Last but not least, I trust my dog's intuition about people. My dog absolutely loves Rick. Need I say more? read more

We were having a problem with noise on our roof and also with the destruction of our property from rock squirrels. D& M was recommended by a neighbor and we are so pleased with the outcome. Jeffrey was very nice and said they would take care of everything. Joseph was the technician that came out to help us. He was wonderful. Very professional and very helpful and explained what he was going to do. He set traps for the rock squirrels and caught both of them in two days. He checked everywhere on the roof and attic to make sure that nothing was coming in. He believes that raccoons are jumping off the tree onto the roof. He has set a trap to see if we can stop them. He also saw a lot of fire ants and sprayed them with out us even saying anything. He has come back several times to make sure that everything is fine. I have known Jefry of D.M. Pest Control and used his pest control service for several years now, at least five. He has helped me with numerous rodent problems at our offices for which I am the property manager. Our offices are located in a wooded area with an arroyo that creates a haven for critters, and our aged office buildings lend themselves easier targets for rats, squirrels, and raccoons seeking water and warmth among a sprawling Austin development area. He solved my rover ant problem at my residence in one visit. He has solved rodent problems at houses of friends of mine. He nearly always has been able to arrive within a business day or sooner, and his prices are very reasonable. Jefry not only beat the prices of other pest control companies that I was looking into, but he surpassed the expectations that we initially had. As a professional Hospitality GM, I would never consider anyone but DM Pest Control to take care of my hotel. I met Jeffrey in 2007, we opened the Hilton Garden Inn in Killeen and started out with Orkin. We switched to Terminex and still horrible results. Jeffrey came in gave us a proposal and was as good as his word. He has integrity that is hard to find now a day. If he tells you he is going to do something you can consider it done! There are so many wonderful things to say about DM Pest Control! I called DM Pest Control and spoke with Jeffrey about the issues that I was experiencing in my home; and within an hour Joseph came out to give me a free estimate. Others places I called previously put me on a week waiting list! When Joseph arrived, he quickly went to work to diagnose the issues of my home, and told me he would was available tomorrow morning. The next morning, he fixed up our 16 year old house and made it good as new. He also showed us other techniques to keeping pests out the house. Three years ago we moved into an older home in Pflugerville. We had several problems with pests( spiders, sugar ants, water bugs, wasps, and silver fish). I wanted a local company company with environmentally friendly products since I have young kids and a dog. A quick search of BBB turned up DM Pest Control. They have been amazing! We have them come out twice a year for treatments. Jefry is so easy to reach and comes when he says. They have a small and accurate window of time to expect them. They are affordable and can always get rid of the pests using environmentally friendly products. We've used DM Pest Control for 2+ years now for quarterly pest management for our own house as well as a rental property. we have not had any issues with them at all. Jeffry is a reasonable person and always gives an honest opinion about the issue vs. what we may wanna hear. I've also had Jeffry stop by on a day's notice to take care of issues where regular companies would take a week to show up. DM also uses organic pesticides which are kids/pet friendly; this was a prime concern for us and Jeffry put that to bed. read more

When he came to do the treatment, I told him that we have actually stopped seeing the ants in the past several days. He suggested that we wait a week BEFORE doing any treatment, in case our previous treatment (with the other company) started working. I'll be using and recommending them for any future needs. They are an honest, family-owned company. They don't push services, educate you on what is happening, and treat you like a real person. (Note: I also posted this review on Google Maps)
