I called to make an appointment with days in advance for an inspection and verified 3 times with the lady on the time and date since I was taking the time off from work. On the day of the appointment I waited at the property for over two hrs to show and no show no call. I called the company and they then inform me that the appointment was for the next day. Unreliable and liars for their own convenience. Do NOT do business with a company who can not keep their appointment and then lie to cover their mess up. Will speak poorly of this company to anyone and everyone I came by which in my field of work in real estate is a lot of people. Great company and service. After one service upon moving into our new place our ant problem was gone. The technician was ver respectful and friendly, working around us putting our cats in crates to keep them away from the chemicals. Also the chemicals are apparently safe and dry quickly so we didn't have to leave the house. They also sent a xmas card which was very sweet and family business of them. read more

The field technicians are AWESOME, super friendly and attentive. In particular, CARLOS is THE BEST. He's timely, skilled, friendly and knowledgeable. We have a dog sitting business, and he is mindful of keeping doors shut and making sure the dogs are safe and secure before entering areas. Through my experience the company has been phenomenal with us. When the pandemic started I had a rat problem along with the neighbors. We Started with Homeshield in November 2020. The first week, 5 rats were caught around the property and attic. We would see the rats running across the outside wall. Literally, since the technicians came out the first week we haven't seen one rat. They have done a great job including the home office. Ismael, Carlos, and Dodjer have been amazing technicians. I just used Homeshield for a pest inspection for a home in escrow and I couldn't be more impressed. Our technician, Chase, explained the previous pest report indicated that the home was still under warranty from the previous pest work that had been done and that, while he could still do the inspection if my clients wanted, he wouldn't want to charge them unnecessarily. He still walked around a gave a free peripheral inspection, but I was thoroughly impressed with his professionalism and honesty. After 10+ years with Terminix and having to call repeatedly for months just to schedule an appointment for both pest and termite control on my LA duplex, I researched companies and based on reviews decided to contact Home Shield. Within days, I've been able to have an excellent inspector Chase Berry, come to my home and set up both ongoing pest and termite treatments. I'm glad I did! Upon his initial inspection, he discovered the presence of termites in my attic and crawl space and garages, which Terminix was paid to inspect and treat and failed to do so for nearly a year now. I'll deal with them soon. But as of right now, knowing I have Home Shield on board to treat and maintain my home, gives me great peace of mind.
