Andrew and his team were great. Responsive, efficient, and very knowledgeable. They came back for several follow up appointments to make sure the situation was handled and then they even returned to seal up a breached access point under the house several months after the initial work was completed! Highly recommend Pest Free! These guys are pros read more

This review is long overdue, but was reminded by a NextDoor post looking for a ratcatcher. I used their service in Dec 2023. I immediately recommended Pest Free to the NextDoor post because Andrew and his team were phenomenal. They were very responsive and easy to work with. Best way is to email their support email first and then they'll send Andrew or another team member out to your home. Our home was pest free after about 1.5 months. I'm not sure if that's fast/slow but they were patient and understanding of my messages at any time of the day and were very quick to send someone to either patch up missed holes or to pick up traps that went off. read more

First, the contact person Lu responded to my inquiry right away, and had great customer service. I had a bad smell in my house and saw a rat in the yard a few weeks ago. She sent Andrew out the SAME day, and it's Sunday!!!! He was on time, so nice and helpful, explaining how rats can get in, signs of them, etc. He was so thorough as he checked our attic too. Turns out it's not a rodent problem, but wow how helpful it was and such a relief to have a professional rule that out! We will definitely use this company in the future and refer them to friends/neighbors. read more

I highly highly recommend Pest Free! These guys are the best and could not be nicer about it it. They are super friendly and do the job right the first time. They are worth every penny. This is def the place I would go with any rodent problems. Call them, you will not be disappointed. read more

I call couple of Rodents control only Pest Free reply me and immediate setup the appointment on a Saturday morning before the Hurricane Hilary. Andrew show up and start checking the attic and crawl space for rodents activities, luckily nothing found on both area. Andrew explain to me they give us free Rodent inspection with no charges and seal up the broken vents. I didn't even pay for the inspection plus sealing the vent, I meant wow... I am keeping their contact for the future. touch wood : ) read more

We recently had an issue with water bugs in our new home, and thanks to the technician Andrew at Pest Free, we can finally sleep peacefully at night. We noticed what we thought were roaches coming out from under the cabinets in the kitchen. Andrew came to the house and after doing a full inspection, found a broken water pipe under the house in a crawlspace where the water bugs were coming from and entering through the kitchen. I called a plumber to repair the broken drain. and had Pest Free come back to "Pest-Proof" the kitchen to prevent any other bugs from coming into our home. If it wasn't for the technicians' thorough inspection of the problem prior to just spraying a solution, we would've never completely gotten rid of the water bugs. We haven't had any issues since. read more

Andrew is very professional. He came by, checked everything in our attic and crawl space, and patched some things up on the same day so that we could address immediate issues. I had another company come by who weren't as thorough so we felt very comfortable with Andrew. Would definitely recommend Pest Free for your home. read more

Pest Free was really easy to work with. I requested a quote for rodent control and was able to be seen within a few days. They were the third company that had come by for an estimate, and I gotta give Andrew credit - he was ready to inspect the attic, all gowned up and everything. He was the only one from the three companies to do such a thorough inspection AND provide me pictures afterwards. Pest Free's pricing is competitive and provides a 4-5 year warranty (depending on your roofing), and they provide a thorough breakdown of all the costs as well. Although I originally had only needed rodent control, it was brought to my attention that my attic insulation was pretty low as well. Furthermore, we've had rodent issues for YEARS and they messed up a lot of our vents. Glad I was able to work with Pest Free. They did a good job with the attic cleaning, decontamination, rodent proofing, air duct installation, and insulation removal/ R-38 insulation installation. It's been a bit over a month and no rodent noises/sightings!!! Tip: emailing the team is the easiest way to ensure a fast response! read more

I can't say enough about this company. They came out for free to evaluate my home which was highly appreciated. I had been hearing noises and I knew something was up there but not to this extent. They found a large nest in my attic and sent me a quote for a full clean out and replacement of my insulation. They sent a large crew over in the am and they worked really hard. It only took them one day to finish the job and I can truly say I couldn't be happier. They were professional as well. They will be coming back weekly to check the traps and monitoring all activity. It really gives me and my family a peace of mind. I highly recommend Pest Free! read more

I recently had Pest Free come out and address a rat infestation in my attic and crawl space. I couldn't be happier with the professionalism and responsiveness of this company. Andrew was been my main contact (gave estimate, oversaw the crew, came back to re-check after 4 days). I have also spoken to and emailed with Lu from the office. Both have been amazing. I feel so relieved to be addressing our rat issue with such a competent and professional company. The other day, I thought we had a dead rat under the house (it turned out to be a false alarm as the smell was due to one of my cats peeing in a Christmas decoration container). I emailed the company at 10pm and I received a call from Andrew at 8am the next day. Once you pay a company, you see their true colors in terms of follow-up service. Pest Free is committed to following through on their promises. Thank you! read more

Thank you so much Pest Free! I recently bought a house and began to realize the house was rat infested in the crawls space and attic! I was mortified! But then, the technician, Andrew, did a very detailed evaluation. They came back with a crew and did repairs in the attic and crawl space. To go even further, they properly cleaned and sanitized rat poop/urine and put new insulation in. Needless to say, I'm so grateful for their services and very pleased with their attention to detail. I feel safe and clean in my new home...Finally! I highly recommend Pest Free to anyone! read more

I had three companies come out to give me an estimate. Hands down, Pest Free did the most thorough inspection. Shout out to Andrew, who not only climbed all around my attic, he also crawled under the house. He took pictures and explained what he had found (the other companies barely stuck their head in my attic). Don't let the small amount of reviews scare you. I will not hesitate to recommend Pest Free to anyone. They showed up on time and did a great job clearing out all the insulation and sealing any entrances to my house. The crew ensured that my house remained clean as they sealed everything off with plastic. They cleaned up after themselves and even vacuumed to ensure any debris was removed. When they were done, you couldn't even tell they walked through my house. Andrew was very attentive to any question or concern that I had. Communication was great. Special thanks to Lu as well as she coordinated the job with me. I was provided with a final payment receipt that also included photos of what they had done. Andrew even offered to email me more pictures if I wanted them. The five year guarantee is great! If you are reading this, then stop looking around and just call Pest Free. You won't be sorry! read more

Great service. Pest Free workers made sure the job is done right even if the weather is hot. They went inside the attic, went up the roof, made sure the whole house is rodent proof. I had an old rodent issue with old debris on the insulation. It was time to get rid of it and seal the home up. I called Pest Free and they came by for a free evaluation. They were very responsive. The tech came and did a very thorough inspection . I have had 3 total inspections done and pest free was by far the most thorough. They sent the quote out the same day and we came to an agreement. The crew came later in the week and got to work. My attic is now fully cleaned and my home is sealed. I am very satisfied and will recommend them in the future! read more

I'm so grateful Pest Free was able to find out how to keep the spiders out my home. Me and my fiancé just moved into a new home and we ended up killing about 5 spiders a day. I'm terrified of spiders! We almost left to a hotel for the week! Luckily, Pest Free came to our house to evaluate the problem, then started the treatment right away. We've been spider free since they came by. Now I can sleep at night, thanks to their amazing services! read more

Very nice and professional people. I called asking about a rodent treatment plan for my dads new home in L.A. The guy on the phone broke it down for me. We hired Pest Free to deal with critters running around our attic crawl space. Turned out to be rats. The team at Pest Free and the lead tech Andrew have all been very professional and thorough. They are all super nice and happy to help. It's nice to know that I have a 5 year guarantee and that they'll come back and check for holes or openings after other service work gets done on the house (I.e. plumbers or electricians who might leave holes open under the house) I'm definitely happy I chose to work with Pest Free. WARNING! FAKE BUSINESS. FRAUDULENTLY USING INACTIVE, CSLB CONTRACTOR NUMBER BELONGING TO SOMEONE ELSE, FAKE BUSINESS ADDRESS - USING AN URGENT CARE AS THEIR BUSINESS ADDRESS. POSSIBLE ROBBERY/HOME BREAK IN SCAM! Requested estimate for rodents in shed and to check attic for possible rodents only. I sent the technician, Andrew to our attic to check for rodents, he came down and said our ductwork was broken and showed a very far away picture of this damage. Our heater worked perfectly when used last in May, and no one has been in or worked in our attic for over 5 years, it is totally empty except for our ductwork and insulation and not used for any storage. Close up photos and several licensed contractors have now verified that our ductwork has indeed been purposely stepped on and crushed. Please see the photos and decide for yourself. I have provided our close up photos of the damage with this review, along with the one the technician and office provided to us so that you can see for yourself. The technician briefly showed me a far away photo of the supposedly damaged duct while he was in my home. However, this damage was not mentioned in any of the written estimates and the photo he showed was not included with them either. I had to write the office and ask that the send the pic, and then again write and ask that they include the picture with the written estimate. After the technician Andrew was finished doing the inspection, he took his ladder and small toolbag to his truck and a verbal estimate was given to me on the front porch. He said goodbye and left and I closed the front door. We then saw on our security cameras, instead of leaving, the technician Andrew immediately slipped back into our backyard thru the still open gate rather than return to his truck. He began rapidly walking along the back of our home, holding his phone up and recording all along the length of our home, the windows - NOT the roof or ground, he was clearly holding his phone up and taking video of all the windows and our visible eye level cameras. When he had taken video along the full length of the back of the house, He then stopped and stood at the corner of the house, just behind a more obvious security camera and video recorded our glass sliding door, fuse box and other details - he then rapidly walked back out along the back of the house and out of the gate while continuing to record the windows at eye level, while he did so. He then went out of the gate, closed it, got into his truck and left. The company later emailed us an almost 7,000.00 estimate and and another, "less expensive" estimate for almost 5000.00 to simply replace ductwork!!! These 2 estimates did NOT include the "asbestos removal" and the rodent control was listed on both estimates for 0.00 (free). Andrew stated he "had a guy that would do the asbestos removal cheap for 995.00" while he was on my porch. He obviously assumed that an older woman lived alone because that who was home to let him in for the inspection - I let him assume this because from the start of the inspection because something seemed wrong - his bright and totally clean white jumpsuit seemed more like a costume than an actual protective work suit. He was also wearing a filthy respirator that was not an appropriate respirator for the job. This is a typical scam to come back and rob houses - alert authorities if this company has been to your home to do work, give estimates or do an inspection! We have reported this incident to local law enforcement, providing the videos & documentation. Other authorities have been notified as well. This scam business is likely a front for a later robbery or other criminal activities beyond their fraudulent use of an inactive contractor's license and purposely damaging customers property to try to gain work. Google the address they have posted here to see for yourself that it is an urgent care building at 100 Oceangate, Long Beach. I have also provided a photo of this from Google maps. After gathering evidence and reporting to appropriate authorities we sent technician Andrew a text and emailed the company as Andrew has continued to try and contact us by phone since the "inspection" asking that they do not return or contact us further. Terrible experience, by having this company out to inspect attic for possible rodents, we now have hundreds of dollars of duct damage to repair & who knows what else these criminals might try to do. Please use the info I posted in pics & go to CSLB.gov site to see the inactive, unable to contract, uninsured, 0 employee status of their license. A company with 1000s of customers as owner states in reply would list their license # on their website & Yelp page, written estimate and emails - rather than make customers request it after being given a 7000.00 quote. They aren't listed/searchable anywhere on the internet other than a page made with free website generator wix that doesn't list the license # they provided. read more

This company is great. Looks like they are pretty new to Yelp but are very informative. I reached out to them regarding a rat problem at my uncles house. I spoke to a woman who advised me that they offer trap setting services for rats but they are not specialist. She said that they specialize in roaches and ants mainly. So, they referred me to another company who specializes in rats and mice only. They are based in Orange County but they service Long Beach and surrounding areas. I was beyond impressed by the company they referred me to. Very professional , on time and responsive. Exactly what I was looking for.
