I cannot talk enough about how great Clean Slate Pest Control is! We noticed a weird smell in our house and couldn't figure out what it was. After being gone for two days, when we returned the house smelled HORRIBLE, osmething clearly died under the house. I called these guys at like 10 pm in a complete panic about what to do. They were so calm and assured me they would come out the next day. The DID come out the next day and immediately removed the dead animal. ALSO, they sanitized and deodorized the whole area. The price for this service was super reasonable and the whole process was FAST! We did decide to accept additional services they offer - such as sealing up the house (literally the WHOLE house, not just under the house they also did the attic and showed me pictures of the work they did in the attic), and coming weekly to ensure there are no critters in the traps they set. Even though these additional services were more costly, they did such a great and thorough job with the critter removal, and were so knowledgeable about their work, that we felt confident they would deliver on making the service worth it. HOWEVER, I have seen a lot of recent reviews indicating that the company doesn't honor the year-long warranty... so I hope that's not the case, but I guess time will tell. read more

Definitely professionals, they know what they're doing. During the colder days that 2024 brought us and recent remodeling, I had some unwelcome visitors. There were a few signs, but I thought it was my pup causing some issues. It wasn't until my pup stared profusely at a corner of the kitchen cabinet that I realized there was a mouse living with us. Luckily, Clean Slate came over and gave me a quick estimate and started by covering entry ways around the house, mainly crawl space screens and pipe openings. There's a one year warranty with an extension, which is great since It took a few tries to get the tiny mice out of the crawl space. No poison! Just traps with 3 mice. Discovering you have a rodent problem is problematic to say the least but the folks at Clean Slate Pest Control are extremely helpful, reliable and go above and beyond. My washing machine was leaking water and when I moved it away from the wall I found rodent droppings. I looked up pest control and appliance repair. They conducted an inspection, looked up in the attic crawl space, noticed all the places where the pesky critters could gain access and confirmed that I had a rodent problem. This company is illegally operating as a business and without license as a Pest and Insulation Corporation and ripping off customers. This business was suspended for deceptive and fraudulent practices. Still continue to operate and was Dissolved and suspended in 2019. He has bogus reviews on his site. I can speak personally of his fraudulent practices because he installed a shoddy insulation job at my house, (still in warranty), and when called, he became confrontational and said no-one has ever complained of his work. I had another company inspect and they found a whole area that had not be insulated. The disturbing part is that I now don't believe he was qualified to install insulation as he promoted himself. I paid $6500 for an insulation job and my house is colder than it has ever been. I have emailed him, sent a letter via postal service, and now this review. I was so excited and happy when Clean Slate Pest Control came out to service our home. They rid us of the pests...for a little while...then they came back. Clean Slate came back to see why they were back. They did some patch work but this hasn't stopped the pests. We paid them twice to rid of of rodents and they keep getting in. Clean Slate was 1 of 5 my estimates I received. They were the most fair and thorough in their inspection. I just moved into a new house and I didn't have any rodents, that I knew of. I wanted to seal the house, just in case, as some neighbors complained of their issues. They were quick to come out and handle all openings we had in the exterior of our 1100 sq foot house. I hate to leave a negative review because I know this is someone's business. Yet, I don't have money to waste so I feel a responsibility to other customers. This company responded quickly, but I didn't feel comfortable with the quote I received. I told the inspector that I'd like to get more quotes before making a decision. Instead of respecting what I said, he started setting down traps which made me feel obligated. I felt that he preyed on my fear of rodents and tried to use that to push me into an amount 4 times more than any other company that came out. The second problem is that the inspector said that he found rodent droppings in an inaccessible part of my house, but two other inspectors from two separate companies said they found no droppings in that same area. Had I just taken his word, I never would have know that he wasn't being truthful. Be careful! After reading the above review, Clean Slate Pest Control contacted me immediately.
