Ants, ants, ants!! I was getting so paranoid with ants. They were everywhere, from our cat dishes to our beds. All those gels and ant baits we were able to get our hands on stopped working, so I searched on Yelp for help. HomeShield Pest Control responded so swiftly and was able to send a service rep out quickly. And voila! After the first visit, the ants were gone! It was like magic. And Richard, our service rep, was so great. He sprayed our house inside and out, cleaned out all the spider webs around the exterior of the house, and best of all, he was just so respectful of our property, friendly, and informative. To start off, I had an ant problem. Very quickly, I was able to get in touch with someone and arrange my initial spray. Did wonders! Service is PHENOMENAL- zero doubt about that. The guys that come to spray are kind, knowledgeable, and super respectful of your home. The only drawback is that you are locked into a yearlong contract where you pay monthly, but you're only serviced every 3 months. I didn't realize that until after I got billed (I should have read the contract better). However, that being said, if you have a pest problem, they come back to spot "spray" in between sessions. If you have the budget, definitely go for it. read more

I appreciate that he knows where they all are, so that I don't have to be home to supervise his work. Changing my initial 1 out of 5 review to 3 out of 5 as the attention to detail (quality) to charge a customers credit card without a signed agreement for service is unacceptable. No service was provided by the company. No one came to our house to provide service. Thankfully I check my credit card statements. This could have gone unnoticed by someone less detail oriented. This review is based on the free inspection performed by Dee (Dindial). He was extremely thorough. Right when I thought he was going to give up on finding some holes, he kept searching, and we got to the bottom of where the entry points were leading into the house. He also checked out our attic and he assessed the insect and spider situation. Overall, I am very impressed and I used to have Aptive but I wanted to check out some other options. This company is a little more pricey than Aptive, but I love the fact that I get to bundle things and get a discount. I will update this review if I decide to move forward with the quote. The only reason I haven't signed up is because I want the annual subscription and I'm not sure what bundle I want to go with. I like the fact that I will be billed monthly as opposed to every two months. read more

As a follow up, all of the bugs are gone, so the product works for sure. Mike, one of the managers, reached out to me a day or so later and apologized for the process. He was very conciliatory, and said he had reviewed all the stuff that wasn't supposed to happen prior to that employee doing his job. Seems like it was just a miscommunication on their end. A previous agent (not Jose) came to treat our house for ants. My request was to specifically have the interior spaces treated. There was some kind of miscommunication or missed timing with the first agent and our house cleaner, who was at our home said that he only treated the house's exterior. So I called the company, and they sent a second agent., Jose, to come again. Happy that the company responded quickly and sent someone back. Jose was personable and took his time to walk around the house and to treat the interior spaces. In addition, the first agent had left notes about seeing "rodent holes", which upon hearing, freaked me out w/ worry -- but Jose went around the house with me and we looked at every single possible opening ; he reassured me that while the few gaps we found were something we wanted to patch up, he did not see any signs / droppings from actual rodents.
