I kept waiting for a confirmed appointment, and it was only after I told the manager handling my project that I wanted my deposit refunded if they could not schedule the work that they finally arranged a service date. The project included crawl space cleaning, sanitizing, rodent proofing, and a newly built crawl space access door. After the work was completed, the manager told me that I would receive before-and-after photos within a few days. Several weeks have now passed, and despite multiple follow-ups, I still have not received those photos. The newly installed crawl space door also showed visible damage shortly after installation. When I reported it, I was initially told that the wood may have "come that way," even though this was supposed to be a newly built door. The manager later said they would follow up and arrange for someone to return, but several weeks have passed and the door still has not been repaired. In addition, after Atticare completed the crawl space cleaning, the HVAC technicians who later worked underneath the house told me that there were still animal droppings in the crawl space and that it had not been cleaned thoroughly. I paid the project in full. What disappoints me most is not just the quality-control issues, but the lack of follow-through. I have contacted the manager multiple times and have repeatedly been told that these issues would be followed up on. Several weeks later, the promised photos have still not been provided and the damaged door has still not been repaired. Atticare also provided a one-year warranty for the work. However, based on my experience trying to get these issues addressed, I have very little confidence in what that warranty actually means in practice. If a problem with a newly installed door cannot be resolved after several weeks and multiple follow-ups, it is difficult to see how the warranty provides meaningful protection to the customer. Several other reviews have stated that Nathan Jones lied to them to get them to sign the contract, so if he is still employed by the company and is the one that comes out to your home, that means they didn't let him go for repeatedly lying. Mr. Nathan Jones lied about the scope of the job to get us to sign the contract, pretended his computer had died so he had to have us sign the contract on a small tablet/ phone which is a common method they use to make sure you can't read the fine print, and they told us they could use a disinfectant appropriate for immunocompromised individuals but when the office was contacted to confirm told us that immunocompromised individuals should not use their company because they didn't use chemicals that were safe. The reason they have so many positive reviews is because they discount the price if you review them prior to them starting the job. They charged us $10,000 for a job that took 15 work hours for a single employee, and when I asked them why they were charging so much for a simple job prior to signing they assured us it was a BIG job that would require a whole team for four full work days. He committed fraud and poisoned our family causing worsening of health issues.
