Currently in progress with Tim's team. I appreciate that they are responsive to phone calls/emails/texts. They are truly trying their hardest! FYI there is a backlog so we were told we probably can't schedule a site survey until mid-March... really close to the NEM 2.0 change to NEM 3.0. FYI #2, after the site survey, it takes them ~2 weeks to submit the Application to PG&E (which is the necessary step to get grandfathered into NEM 2.0). read more

Wasted my time, I went and got a loan for 30k and was ready to buy the solar system tim offered me a couple months ago. told me to wait until his new system is up and running, have better price too. Now he tells me my solar system is gonna cost me around $7000 more. I waited 4 months for this nonsense. I have pics of messages 1to8. Be aware and do your research, if you have ac running , 2 batteries is good for a couple hours only after dark. I have solar and 2 powerwall before so I know. In the daytime the panels are good to power your house and fully charge the 2 powerwall with good sun light. Nighttime powerwall takes over only for a couple hours with my ac set at 78 degree in Modesto ca. when battery is drain I'm back using power from the grid. So I have to pay for solar system and to the electric company. Winter is better but doesn't have good sunlight so Battery doesn't get fully charged. Winter consume less electricity but consume more gas from heater. I try to talk myself out of getting solar but They keep raising electricity or else I wouldn't need solar. Solar and battery degrade over time and warranty only cover if it's broken so down the line when your system is not producing enough power but still working they not fixing it. Thats to what I understand . I guess you're stuck and out of luck. I got nothing against Tim he's a good guy but I'm just upset about how he went back on his words read more

Navigating all the different Solar companies and options can be daunting but Tim's team at HomePro Solutions took their time to answer all of our questions and was not pushy with the sales aspect of the deal at all. Not only did we get a great deal on our system but everything was extremely smooth from start to finish. The installers were on-time and professional. Additionally, Tim's team followed up after installation several times, unprompted by us, just to check-in and make sure we were happy and the system was meeting our expectations. I have recommended HomePro Solutions to a few friends and neighbors and they had a similar positive experience with their installation. read more

Ended up a non starter 10 mins after quote request they called , good After getting address and email exchanged they asked my credit score. We have not discussed the project at all, when asked why they need the credits score first, downplayed and the hung up Not sure what to make of these priorities read more

HomePro solutions was such a sigh of relief after dealing with two very unreliable companies. Tim was on top of it with a very competitive quote. They continue to provide a great communication through the team at Solar savings direct. Jessica and Monica were on top of. We had a long wait with the PGE delays but we now have an incredible system, just waiting for final inspection in a couple weeks! Thank you so much Tim and team! read more

HomePro Solutions - Solar - Solar Installation Near Me - Brentwood, California

The people alone should tell you a lot about the company. From the time on the phone to the in-person meeting all the way to installation they are the best. There were so many different places I talked to, disappointments, and even a bad credit experience that I am still paying for. HomePro is really great and the folks that installed it were some of the best. Clean and not a bar or wire anywhere unlike the folks from other companies that installed it at the neighbor's house. If you are still on the fence about getting Solar or where to go this is the place and the people you want to deal with. read more

I must say, as a new home owner I was nervous about solar financially, I knew we wanted to get solar and save on our bill now that we live in a hotter climate. Tim was great from the start. From the moment he arrived to explain the process he was friendly, funny and respectful. Once we were approved for the installation the crew came out to go to work. They were also friendly and respectful, and not to mention FAST! I was told it would take 6-8 hours and they were done in 4, which allowed me to go about my day and let my dogs enjoy their backyard on a beautiful day. Recently we received a call and an email regarding two panels not working right, we had no idea. But Tim's people were on it and took care of it fast and got us back on track again. If you want solar from a DEPENDABLE company reach out to Tim. read more

Tim is honest and transparent. There is no funny sales stuff. I interviewed 4 different companies and chose Tim for these reasons. His pricing was also very good. Get solar now if you have not already! Best thing we ever did. read more

I recommend Tim to any and everyone. His prices are competitive and his interest rate is unbeatable and made our decision an easy, solid one. It made other loans look like a rip-off, equivalent to a new auto loan. I shopped around and spent hours and hours researching, meeting, getting quotes and rates, while asking questions. Tim was the most knowledgeable and explained everything to me in a way I understood, which is making sure I'm buying enough solar to avoid tru up bills, and have enough over the course of the next 20 years as the solar degrades overtime (very slowly but I didn't even know that happens until he told me!). He isn't just a sales guy, he's the main guy that follows the whole process through beginning to end. He made me feel like he had my family's best interest at the forefront. I learned the most by him, and in the shortest amount of time without the lengthy "presentations" I experienced by others. Please support successful local businesses and their owners, especially when they're proficient in their field, this one. If you're interest in solar panels, definitely reach out to Tim, you won't regret it, but will be thankful you did. read more

Dealing with solar companies is equivalent to dealing with off brand used car lots. You get a lot of bait and switch estimates and hear so many contradictions, you just can't trust anybody. I spoke with several solar companies before ultimately landing on HomePro Solutions. HomePro solutions were very honest. They took the time to give me a proper quote and to walk through all of my options. After doing extensive research I actually saved more money moving forward with Tim and the solar was installed faster than what the actual company quoted me. Everything was done as promised and any issues I have ran into have all been addressed promptly. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TIM LUNDSFORD and the HomePro Solutions Solar Company read more

Great experience. We moved into our home in Martinez about a year ago and knew immediately that we wanted to capitalize on the power of the sun (read: it is hotter than heck out here, ack!). We listened to 7-8 sales pitches on solar. Tesla, SunRun and others (even the pushy one through Costco that offers a large rebate on the Costco shop card). We ended up using HomePro for our solar and are extremely satisfied. They weren't the cheapest nor the priciest, but after hours of research, we knew that we needed a company that was responsive if we ever had any issues (please read reviews on Tesla's customer service before considering using them) Tim, the owner, was responsive, patient and explained everything in detail. He was not pushy, actually recommended we NOT get a battery (at least for now) which he could have made more money on, but didn't think it made sense for us at the time. I've now referred several friends/neighbors to him and we're all so please. He uses the best/most attractive panels (none of those ugly white grid lines) and the installation crew was amazing. Our solar is now up and running and even after blasting the air condition this summer (hey, we're used to Oakland weather), our energy bills were only $20/month! read more

Had a great time watching these guys work! They had to put up with my mini wrecking yard to install panels on my shop roof. They worked fast and efficient! They inspected the location before hand, showed up to work, and returned later to make sure all the work would pass inspection....never left me hanging during the process. I was so impressed with the way those "kids" worked on my shop roof I couldn't stop taking pictures, a real thrill to finally join the solar crowd! lol. read more

I personally do not recommend this company. I was contacted via messenger on Facebook from someone I thought was a friend, who works for this company. I gave him all my personal information through Facebook. Tim the owner contacted me and came to my home. Everything seemed great and professional! Then Tim needed to get back to me about our roofing quote. I didn't hear back for weeks from him. Tim called and apologize, he said his roofer might have come out, but he will contact him and get back to me . I called maybe about 3 to 4 weeks after and never heard back. Now this so called "friend" Steve, messages me last night on fb about solar, pretending to be concerned about a post I had posted. He immediately asks if I got solar yet, which I just signed with another company (I contacted Homepro 4/26/22). He tells me it's ok if I signed , they can offer me a better deal and make it worth my time, ect. Funny because I gave you my time, my personal information, had Tim in my home, and never got my solar! I told Steve, no the company I'm with worked with me and are on top of everything. I wake up to a message from Steve, saying Tim said I never called best of luck and he BLOCKED me on facebook! Extremely unprofessional!! I'm not going to bother calling Tim, because he seems To busy to get back to a customer who was very interested with his company. If you want a family oriented, non pushy and professional company, this is not the solar company for you. Tim you might want to work on your professionalism, and actually getting back to customers. As for your sales representative, they need some training on working with customers, especially ones that were supposed to be friends. read more

Tim did a great job on our install, first and foremost! He was super responsive to all my questions (and trust me, I had a ton of them) and throughout the process.
