Tucked away in The Plaza at El Segundo, this store replaced the Linens & Thing's that was previously located in the spot. We love this place! Low Prices, Plenty of Inventory, Cool Peeps, and... did I mention the Low Prices? LOL! Seriously people, you can't go wrong here. Huge parking lot, with spaces that are big enough to pretty much ensure your car will look the same when you come out of the store as it did when you went in! The quality and style of the merchandise is great, and we've made our home a bit happier each time we bring home a new piece. We're at the point were it's time to go full bore, and we will save about 45% on virtually the same items that we had selected at other stores that carry the same type of items. Where else can you find a stackable cupcake holder AND a dictionary of Star Wars characters? If you're looking for an icing turntable to frost your next cake, this is the place! Seriously, if you're like me and like to buy all your kitchen utensils in yellow to match your 1950s stove, or ceramic green lawn animals, go no further! Right now I just found an almond chai candle!!! They've got those inspirational signs about friends, dogs and wine and Eiffel Tower everything!!! Ok, but on a more serious note, anytime I want to get affordable anything, I come here. Great for kitchen stuff (cheaper than target), pet stuff, decorating, and all the scented candles you could ever need!!! I hate Yankee candles. Though there is some tacky stuff too. Went in and purchased almost $300 worth of bedding items some of which were marked down. Just to get home and take them out of the packaging to realize one expensive sheet set was missing the main item the fitted sheet. I call in and spoke to Michelle and she tells me "that's what clearance is,marked down items with things missing" okay well i asked her why didn't the cashier notify me that items would be missing ‍ well items aren't missing from all our clearance. Well HomeGoods should mark the clearance items that have missing items instead of selling them like nothing and then being rude about it after the fact! So to all my fellow HomeGoods shoppers please beware when buying clearance items things can be missing make sure to check before leaving the store because the people who work here are good for nothing but standing around chatting! read more

Michelle D, the engagement coordinator at this location needs to be immediately terminated. I've worked in the corporate world for so long and have not come across a more rude and nasty person. The item I wanted to purchase was damaged, she picked it up, tried to clean it and her attempt resulted in causing even more damage to the item. Then she, in the most rude manner, told me she would give me $2 off and not ten percent and that she has complete power to decide how much off it should be. For me to get this item dry cleaned after she further damaged it, will cost around $15. Wish I knew her last name. She needs to be banned from all customer service jobs. Please message me her last name if you have it. Will no longer be shopping at Home Goods because of her. I will be letting the Home Goods corporate office know of her behavior so they can terminate her. read more

Really fun place to shop for your home or gifts. Items range from furniture, pots & pans, lighting, bathroom accessories, pet supplies, etc. The items are always good quality at a discounted price. Sometimes you find 10 things and sometimes none. The store itself is large & clean. They're a sister store of TJ Maxx which have clothing, shoes, jewelry, etc. Great thing about this location is that its both in 1 place. The Homegoods is upstairs & Tj Maxx downstairs. It's large so they have a wide selection. It's always clean and never crowded. It falls right behind in the sense that I can never walk out of here with just the one thing I was looking for. This is honestly my favorite store. The staff are always helpful and ALWAYS working hard at stocking and arranging items. I always find what i need here for my home and for gifts... inexpensive toys for my kids (and dog), and other things you don't think you need until you see them.. Then you realize you do! ;) My current favorite things to buy are wooden crates. They have awesome ones in right now that solve all of my storage problems! Oh, and wrapping paper! You can never have too much wrapping paper and this is THE best place to find the cutest rolls and gift bags! The only negative thing about this store is the long checkout line. By the time I finish finding what I need, I rarely have time to wait in that line! I'm thinking maybe they can pull workers off the floor to help on cash more times throughout the day when the line piles up? Because they usually only have two or three open when this happens. I had my very first experience at HomeGoods yesterday and it was nothing short of uuuhhhhhmazing! My love knows NO boundaries for that retail paraiso! I had intended to go in and find some little extra things to spruce up our reception area at work, but it went from business to personal in five seconds flat... I.e. As soon as I grabbed a cart and fixed my glance onto the cornucopia of (retardedly) bright lights beaming all over the beautiful, quality home goods. Home goods??? More like home gifts!! Home goods that are comparable to Target, mind you. Now don't get me wrong, I'm a HUGE Target fan, but this place kind of has the IN-YO-FACE factor that Target can't quite master. The $3.99 product that I purchased was unable to process on the register. After waiting in line for 10 minutes, I spent another 15 minutes as the employees and manager ran around the store after realizing the bar code didn't work. Why the manager could not just enter the item is unbelievable. I will avoid this store if possible. I absolutely love HomeGoods. They have everything you could possibly need for your home. I especially love it during the holidays. If you want a beautiful table decor for dinner or just brunch with girlfriends, you can fine it there. They have decor for your kids bedrooms, you need something for your dog, guess what they have it. Candles all types of scents and they even carry specialty food items. By far the best Home Goods I've ever been to and I've been to them in West Hills, Chatsworth, Las Vegas and Colorado Springs. It is stocked with SOOOOOOO much stuff and not picked over like the other Home Goods I used to go to. Every time I come here I find something perfect for my house or office. HomeGoods is probably one of the best places to shop to find great deals for home items. Go here before you step foot into a Bed Bath and Beyond--yes, even with your $5 off or 20% off coupon. I have found so many great items here for my kitchen (towels, utensils, glasses, coffee cups), bedding (sheets, pillows, mattress covers), bath (furniture and accessories), home decor (love their lanterns and storage baskets), and seasonal (I got the majority of my x-mas decor here last year). Snotty behavior from Lydia passed off as a manager hard to believe from trying to frame you to others as some sort of weirdo that you are suspicious person in question (following you up and down the isles) to on a return talking down to you as in well... I'll do it just this one time regarding a mismarked return tag which charged me 2.50 instead of the regular price of 1.99 and insinuating I put the tag there so I had to clarify you did not listen to anything I said and also I had three items purchased on the receipt and spent 20.00...really disgusting so I say was this item still on sale she doesn't bother to check the item with her gizmo and just flatly says no so she wants to know do I still want to buy it and by this time I am angry. HORRIBLE!!!! Make sure to take your purchases with you immediately! I bought a large mirror that I couldn't fit in my car. I paid for it and went back to pick it up a couple days later and it was GONE! They had NO explanation for me what so ever. Apparently my mirror just grew legs and walked out! I'm furious. It was hard enough for me to find the perfect mirror, borrow a car and drive all the way back to El Segundo from Santa Monica. This has been the most disappointing retail experience I have ever had!!! I recommend the store in Westchester over this one any day. I have never had an issue there in all my years of decorating! I really like this Home Goods location it's always clean and well organized. And it's a very large location. Home Goods basically has everything you never knew you needed until you see it. The prices are also extremely hard to beat. You can get a whole set of china for under 100 as well as all your kitchen items well within anyone's budget. My favorite items are the pet section, the bedding and the pillows - so many pillows! What I dislike about this location is that although it's pretty new their shopping carts are disgusting they are dirty and falling apart, there really is no excuse for this because they store their carts inside so it's not weather that's causing the dirt. When your buying several blankets and pillows the last thing you want to do is place them in a disgusting shopping cart. If this store were to clean that up then it would for sure get a five star rating. read more

Best Home Goods store I've come across. There is a TJMax/Home Goods about 5 miles North in Westchester but it's not even close to the size, products, or aesthetic appeal as this one. I like how they keep everything nice and tidy. Even during the hectic Christmas season, everything was nicely placed and kept. Prices are awesome but naturally, sometimes with low prices come lower quality on certain merchandises. For instance, I purchased a set of 18 hangars for something like $7 (give or take an error margin of $2). All I remember was that it was a great deal. When I got home and cut the wrapper around it, 3 automatically broke. Okay, so now I have 15 hangars for the price of ....whatever I paid for it. It was still a great deal. Watch out for glassware as well. I wanted to buy a box of cocktail glasses and almost every box I opened had at least one or more cracked glass/es. I just re-organized and put all the un-broken glasses in one box. Unfortunately the dishwasher safe glasses broke in the dishwasher. :( Regardless of certain items to watch out for, there are great deals to be found, especially bed and bath items. This is my go to place. Little nick nacks and "fun" items are great for this place too. The people that work here are very nice and friendly. I'm not too hip on the voice over system announcing which line is open for the cash register, but I guess it serves a purpose when people don't pay attention. It has a sort of low class feel to me. But I'm a self admitted bougie person. Watcha gonna do? :) You can shop till you drop with a budget and go home satisfied. read more

My go to place when I feel uninspired by my current home décor and/or inspired by watching endless hours of HGTV. I could spend hours in here. Everything is affordable and made of great quality. There's something for everyone whether your taste is modern, shabby chic, traditional, etc. They have everything imaginable - towels, lamps, rugs, furniture, wall art, bedding, pots & pans, candles, holiday decoration, dishes, utensils, garden décor... I could go on and on... even soda and candy up at the registers! If you are looking for something specific, definitely try out Home Goods first. Why spend more $$$ than you have to? It's more than likely that you'll find it here or at least something relatively close. Bought a beautiful glass ice bucket here that broke on us Christmas night by no fault of anyone's, I think it became too cold then brittle while filled with ice (so, cheaply made) and then cracked when the bottle tapped it. I tried to return it just now and they would not give me a refund or exchange. And THEN, told me I had to take it with me when I said they could at least throw it away for me. I love shopping here since there is such a wide variety of furnishings. From dishes to sheets to wall decor to pet supplies, it's easy to spend hours in here. The prices are reasonable and sometimes I have to do a double take because it seems quite inexpensive. They also have these huge reusable bags that are only $.99! My only gripe is that their checkout line is usually very long and moves pretty slow. read more

If you are decorating or need any little knick-knack for your home - this is the place. Anyways, I especially like this particular HG, because it is tucked in a huge complex off of Sepulveda which also houses a Best Buy, Whole Foods, and a World Market. I can get so many things done here! Also, for all you other shopaholics out there, there is a beautiful collection of establishments across the street, featuring an H&M, BCBG, Jcrew, and Anthropologie! In general, I love HomeGoods. After finally getting my own place, I need to stock quite a number of items for the house. The prices are always great to fair and they stock a wide range of goods. This HomeGoods is consistently the best location. They are neat, organized, and have the widest stock. We often find items that we cannot find at other HomeGoods. The only drawback is that it's difficult to find an employee on the floor if you need help. PS One time, I saw this beautiful random giraffe for $200. The Home Goods in El Segundo finally opened in the old Linens N Things store. Ahhh, a place where it's a one-stop shop of home items with stock that rotates frequently and is discounted. Kitchen: dishes, glasses, stemware, flatware, colanders, chip clips, olive oils and other specialty foods, cupcake mix.... Bath: towels, accessories, robes, racks, shower curtains, toothbrush holders... Bed: comforters, sheets (large selection!), pillows, Snuggies, throw pillows, slippers, nightlights.... Living: frames of all sizes, prints, statues, garden fixtures, picnic baskets... Furniture: chairs, sofas, lamps, end tables, footrests, rugs...... Misc.: EVERYTHING else! There is even a pet aisle with toys and accessories for your cat and dog (those were pretty much the two animals I saw represented at the time). This Home Goods is very bright compared to others. Standard one line at the register and the next customer goes to an open register. Being only a Home Goods and not split with a TJ Maxx like the one in Westchester, I think the selection is a little more expanse. read more
