Brighton Boutique used to be one of my favorite places to visit. It had that warm, inviting feel -- the kind of place where you could browse, take your time, and maybe walk out with something you didn't even plan to buy. But over these last two years? Something has changed. It just doesn't feel the same anymore. I was there yesterday, trying to ask a simple question, and the saleswoman practically rushed me out mid-sentence -- like she had somewhere more important to be than helping an actual customer. Now, I'm not expecting red carpet treatment, but I am expecting basic courtesy. Especially from a store where I held VIP Plus status for years. Brighton used to make you feel welcome. Now it feels like they're hurrying you along before you even decide if you want to buy something. It's disappointing... because it didn't used to be this way. read more

was picking up some pieces that were sent out for cleaning, the first piece was a charm bracelet with multiple charms. that piece came out great, they even replaced one of the charms. The second piece was not even my original piece. I was sent a completely different version of mine. My piece was over 15 years old. I was told there was nothing that coul be done and that it was human error. Was told after three days they just recycle the old pieces. When I asked again what happened to o the original they had no answer. They gave be a store credit for the original cost, they didn't seem to care that they were at fault and my original was never returned. I placed a call to the corporate office to place a complaint. The supervisor tod me that their repair person, never even noticed and just sent me the wrong one. She issued an additional credit, but again I will never receive my original bracelet back. The store credit will go to waste as I will never shop with Brighton again. This was unacceptable and the wo customer service I've ever experienced. read more

Absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. Was returning some gifts with my girlfriend (that once worked for the company) that she got for Christmas. One in store purchase and multiple online orders. All we wanted was to do an exchange. She would not take them back due to not having a gift receipt. All items still in original packaging. Was asking us to go behind the counter just to look at her POS system. Then turned us away. Called the Brea location. Was told by the store manager that is not policy and it should've not happened. This ended up being the lady/ store that the original manager from the MDR location was trained at. I'd never ever recommend this place. Was also told by the other location that they've heard this about the MDR location numerous times. read more

Too many temptations, but I've always been a Brighton girl, as long as I can remember. Love going into a Brighton store to see what's new and fresh. I'm never disappointed with the jewelry or the bags or the shoes I've purchased. And they hold their value pretty well. read more

What a great shopping experience today! I stopped in for small black casual earrings. I had been to several stores in Century City that didn't have what I was looking for. Mary was very helpful & pleasant. Even though they didn't have the type of earrings I was looking for, she was able to go online to show what could order. I liked these earrings alot & did the online order. Mary said that I should receive the earrings by the end of the week. If there was a delay or I didn't like them, she said to let her know. I've looked in this store in the past, but I've never bought anything. This store certainly has nice jewelry. Please acknowledge Mary for her professionalism. 12/9/22 I am male. Walked in wearing work clothes, so I'm guessing the lady with dark hair that "helped" me assumed I'm poor or don't drive a Tesla. I held up my left hand and the platinum band I wanted to replace. Right away she tells me they don't size rings and gets attitude. She didn't know I was also shopping for my wife, my sister-in-law and four nieces. Whatever lady, I'll take my Christmas gift shopping elsewhere. read more

Unbelievable customer service and super cute accessories here. I am very pleased about coming here today and seeing a lot of goodies and being offered a few goodies. I will come back and plan to shop here as a regular. I wanted to buy the entire store. The saleswomen here absolutely kind, gracious, and beyond helpful. Very disappointed with the customer service. I walked in no one greeted. However, when trying to browse the store two employees observed every move I made like two hawks. As if I was going to steal the jewelry I was checking. They look at me like I couldn't afford it. I have spend a great deal of money at brighton because I love the pieces and I'm a big fan of Brighton but the employees of this store are very discriminatory. I totally HATED this experience. Will NOT BE Coming back and will NOT recommended this particular store to any minority. They need to install surveillance camera and not hired prejudiced employees. read more

There's a first for everything and I truly appreciate the time Catherine took with me even though I knew I'd misplaced each of my two debit cards and Brighton did not yet have applepay. I usually don't enjoy shopping and today I actually enjoyed looking at new color and style possibilities rather than my usually rushed looking for a specific need/solution. Up until now, I've had really good experiences at this store. I visit this store frequently and have purchased 4 bags and tons of jewelry and gifts from here over the last 2 years. The company is GREAT and their products are fantastic but my review is for a couple of the staff. The only reason I gave them 2 stars was because the store sales person (Wendy) always recognizes me and is rather aggressive and it has always bothered me that she hovers over me asking personal questions, while I browsed the store. I'm all about friendly staff and service, but she was extremely pushy ALL the time. Clearly they are paid on commission here. It bothered me, but I still continued to shop here. Drew recently bought a white bag for me which actually looked more yellow than the one I wanted and originally saw at a different store. The sales people convinced us to purchase it anyway. In Vegas, I saw the same bag but more white (the shade I wanted). Apparently the leather just picked up dye differently and some bags came out more yellow or pinkish than others. I called the original store and spoke to Wendy about it and she was totally unhelpful with attitude!! She said there wasn't much she can do, even though I have the receipt and original box from 6 weeks ago, but she can try to send the bag back to headquarters as a defective piece. I went into the store, and I also asked if I can get a price adjustment since the bag has gone on sale now (30% off)...and they said NO. You can only do a price adjustment within 7 days, said the red head older lady. Funny enough I went to return the darn bag today in Pasadena since technically I have 60 days to return, and the lady happily took it back. She even offered it to me as $260 instead of $325 since it went on sale! We returned the bag, and ended up buying a bag for the $350 at the Coach store around the corner!! I will continue to shop at Brighton always, because it's a great company with great products and usually offers great service! I'll just be driving a bit further to Century City, Sherman Oaks, or Pasadena. FYI: Brighton offers a complimentary cleaning of your Brighton bag once a year! read more

To Whom It May Concern, I bought a necklace with a beautiful green stone in April 2014. I've worn it a few times. Last week I wore it and the gold frame that surrounds the stone fell off. I took it back to my store (marina del rey), surprised that they wouldn't exchange for another piece or jewelry I reluctantly gave to the very uninterested sales girl. Four weeks later I receive a called letting me know that there is nothing that can be done. To please come back to pick up my still unfixed and unable to exchange my necklace. Id much rather pay a little extra at a department store that will ensure the quality and longevity of my jewelry! Completely disappointed. read more

This is my favorite Brighton store -- hands down. It's a flagship store so it's the largest you'll find. The service is as you should expect from Brighton and worth driving to the Marina Del Rey location to garner the experience. Happy shopping. read more

Improve customer service and hospitality. I've been in this store only a handful of times, but each time I don't get the service I need, not even a friendly "Hi, welcome in." Perhaps they're understaffed. On two occasions when I approached the counter to pay I waited longer than I felt I should have had to. The ladies working did not appear to be too busy and there were not an overwhelming number of customers. The most recent time was just last Tuesday around 3pm. I approached the counter to pay and I ended up walking out without making my intended purchase. I would expect a sales associate to excuse themselves from another customer when they see someone waiting at the counter to make a purchase. read more

Happiness is what I feel when I walk into this store. The jewelery is beautiful and atmosphere is very warm and inviting. All the ladies are wonderful and helpful and they will help you fill out a wish list so they can inform the people in your life what you desire instead of guessing what you want. I have been shopping at this Brighton store for years as it is near my home. i pulled up last week just as the staff was closing the doors. i ran up and asked if i could grab a few gifts, and the manager graciously approved it. i spent about 20 minutes past closing time, choosing my gifts, which the salesgirl fully wrapped. Very DISAPPOINTED in broken jewelry! 3 of out 5 pieces of jewelry broke! (key chain, earrings & watch). They didn't repair or replace due to no longer making them (I just purchased approx. 1 year ago). Their jewelry is too expensive to break on you after a short period of time.
