This review goes out to Tyler. I had gone to the one in Costa Mesa and didn't have a great experience. I ended up buying 3 pairs of sunglasses. Came here to return one....ended up having a wonderful experience. The doorman was very polite and guided me in. I met Tyler who made me feel very welcome and comfortable. He showed me the glasses I had purchased but in all different colors...I wasn't show the options at the Costa Mesa location. This location has a much bigger selection and I love the natural light so you can really see what the glasses look like and how it looks on you. Are they expensive? Yes. I have never spent this kind of money on a pair of sunglasses but I also don't wear sunglasses because most do not fit me. I don't have much of a bridge so they always slide off. This was the first pair that actually stayed! In my opinion, they're quality made. Each has a story. The customer service was impeccable. I also learned that they have valet too. We will definitely be coming back as now I see this as a collectors item. Thank you Tyler, we'll see you soon!

Been the only glasses I can wear now for years. Joey got me into the brand and Janelle has been excellent. I can't speak highly enough of the customer service. Needed a replacement lens and rather than coming in that had a courier drive it to my house within the hour?! They have more selections than what's on display just tell them what you are envisioning. They have optician in store as well. The frames are pricy but hold their value for years. Best customer service. Best product. I was also served Japanese whiskey in Baccarat glass and Evian water while purchasing.

For whatever reason, the salesperson shoved my glasses into the wrong size case. I said "That case is the wrong size." Salesperson smiled at me, put the wrong size case containing my now smooshed new $750 frames in the box, put the box in the bag, and gave me the bag. Glasses now need to be readjusted, and I have to go back to the overly pompous store to get a proper case. They don't answer their phones, so I have no choice. Frames are cool though. 4th pair.

Horrible customer service. No response to emails and they don't pick up phone calls. This is supposed to be a high-end store?

I walked in with a particular frame in mind, which they didn't have in stock, but started to show me other frames that were comparable in style and look. Ended up finding a frame that was fit my face. The purchase process was smooth, as I still needed to get new prescription (they recommended an optometrist they work closely with) and the whole process took about 2.5-3 weeks (getting my eyes checked took longest). Would definitely recommend to friends, and also go back when I'm feeling the itch for new frames.

They have a good selection to browse through. They'll help to recommend what would be good based on your face shape and eyes. And they'll offer similar styles, etc. They're also really quick and knowledgeable. She pulled a bunch of different options for me to try. And they'll keep the glasses pristine. They'll even offer to clean your own glasses. Once you have your purchase, they'll help adjust the nose bridge and/or the ear area to help fit on your face better. This store is definitely on the more expensive side but you're paying for the quality and service.

I'm a longtime JINS customer, and when I needed to update my prescription, I decided to get my eye…read moreexam done through JINS this time. Their technician, Anthony was the one who helped conduct my exam. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and approachable. Unlike other places where I've had my eyes checked, I felt like JINS did a really thorough job of testing not only my vision, but also my depth perception, color deficiency, and peripheral vision. The last time I had my eyes checked at a different optometry place, I had to wait for over an hour even though I showed up on time. As I waited around, no one came to check in on me or apologize for the long wait. When it was finally my turn, my test was no longer than 5 minutes and I was told my vision hadn't changed. At JINS, I showed up on time and they took me in at the exact time my appointment was scheduled. I shared that I was uncomfortable with the puff-of-air test, but thank god they didn't have that machine and Anthony was able to measure my eye pressure using a different method. I also shared that I get nervous with things being so close to my eyes/face, so Anthony walked me through everything he was doing which helped ease my nerves. Keep in mind that the actual vision test was done through telemedicine, so the doctor wasn't physically on site. I was a little skeptical at first, but the Zoom call was high quality and I could hear the doctor clearly. It was so cool that she was able to conduct the exam remotely. She took the time to show me the pictures they took of my eyes and explain what I was looking at and why my eyes were healthy. It really is a comprehensive exam like they say it is! The whole process was surprisingly seamless and convenient, and I never felt like the telemedicine aspect took away from the quality of the exam. Afterwards, I asked Kelsey to help me pick out a new pair of glasses. She's helped style me in the past, and I've always been really happy with the frames she picks out for me. She was wearing these super cool Barbie glasses with rose pink lenses. She's such a fashion icon, so of course I always ask her to style me! She asked me how things were going, and I told her about how I couldn't work the last two days because of a migraine. She told me that she's spoken with customers who have had issues with migraines before and how wearing pink-tinted lenses helps with it. She let me try on pink demo lenses and they really did feel so much more comfortable to look through. I normally wear transition glasses because my eyes are so sensitive to light, and now I feel like I have an option to wear indoors as well for when my eyes feel strained! So now I needed help finding a pair of glasses that would also look good with pink lenses. She remembered that I'm a huge anime fan and she pulled out these really dope Naruto frames from the back and I was like yes these are the ones!! Anthony helped me out at checkout and the process was so seamless. I do have to wait 2-3 weeks for my pink glasses to come in but that time goes by fast and they text you when it's ready for pickup or shipping. And of course I don't want to forget the other service specialists that have helped me in the past. They're always so friendly and honest about what you actually need. I never feel like they're trying to upsell me or push products just to make a sale. Even though they're out of network for insurance, their glasses are incredibly affordable and I never feel like I'm breaking the bank trying to get a pair of glasses. They remember me from the last few times I came in to try on their collaboration glasses, and that always makes me feel welcomed and special. I actually wrote a review when I got my first pair of Snoopy glasses from JINS, and I've been back a few times since then. I want to highlight how consistent the staff and service is. The customer service is always great, and the staff genuinely makes the whole getting glasses experience enjoyable. If you have a pair of JINS glasses, they offer free adjustments, cleanings, and nose pad replacements. They're always dropping new styles and the glasses are all so lightweight and fashionable. I hated wearing glasses in the past, but now they're a staple in my closet that also allows me to see! JINS is the GOAT!

I live an hour and a half away, so this wasn't a quick trip. During my second visit, another employee took my measurements and told me everything was good. When I got my glasses in the mail, I realized they had never recorded the measurement I came back to give them. It finally made sense why Kim had texted me after my second visit saying I needed to come back, even though I had already been there. Because that measurement was never entered correctly, my glasses were made wrong. Everything was blurry, and wearing them made me dizzy. I even messaged Kim to ask if the measurement on my receipt was correct, and she told me it was. It wasn't. So I had to make a third trip back to the store. Valerie made the situation even more frustrating. She changed the measurement right in front of me but kept saying it had been correct the whole time. Then she pulled up my old measurements from the Del Amo location, where I had bought the exact same glasses before, crossed out the incorrect number on my receipt, and tried to print me a new one with the corrected measurements like that was supposed to fix everything. It didn't change the fact that I had already made three extra trips because of mistakes on their end. I understand that mistakes happen, but the lack of communication between employees, the repeated errors, and the way everything was handled made this a really disappointing experience.
